- In this video I explain and show you what wire harness I use to power my aftermarket stereo, backup camera, and speakers. Also I show you how to take out the factory amplifier and navigation cd ROM unit and replace where it was with the factory stereo if you choose to hide it in the vehicle.
The link to the fm radio adaptor you need to get for your aftermarket stereo.
Notice: The blue wire thats with the adaptor needs to be tied into the ignition switch power as its amplifies the fm signal.

Pin 1 is negative
You might need pin 9 also as that is ground.

Thanks Dan, the wiring diagrams I'd like to have are for 2007 RDX Base, I'm planning to hide the factory CD Player and hook an aftermarket 1 DIN stereo w/NAV BT capabilities and wanted to use the factory harness for the speakers, any advice?
Not sure if I have any advice at this time as I didn't use the factory amp

In regards to the amplifier wiring harness, shouldn’t there be 10 pairs? U have it listed 1-9 for negative with a corresponding positive. Is the sub wired separately? Bcuz isn’t it a 10 speaker system?

I do apologize, the subwoofer wire is with that harness, along with the middle front speaker. I thought about that after I made the video and diagram. I didn't add it on as I wasn't planning on using the subwoofer wires. I was planning to run my own wires for the sub, but I was told that I should run ALL new wires for everything. So I did. And as for the middle front speaker, its hooked up to my police scanner. Sorry about that and for the confusion.
Hi Dan, I have the exact make model and year RDX. I want to add a 4 channel amp and new front and rear speakers. What is the best way to wire the new amp and speakers? I am going to keep my factory radio. Should I bypass the factory amp or splice into the wires before and after the factory amp? Do I need to get a digital line converter because of the ELS system? I already have a 15" Skar sub and 2000 watt Skar amp installed. I really want better highs from my speakers though to compliment it. Any advice you have is much appreciated. Great videos. Thank you

Hey Daniel, was wondering if you ended up doing your install.
I added a Hertz ML Power 4 Amp with all new speakers for my 11’ Tech Package RDX.
I used a Line Output converter and got the signals coming out from the factory amp. The quality is still not where I want it to be.
Please let me know what you have done.

The LOC didn't seem to work right. I just got a new amp with digital processing. I got the factory amp wire coloring code from Crutchfield. It's very confusing though. I am going to try again soon. Let me know if you have any suggestions please. This is probably the hardest factory system I have worked with.
