Bleaching T-Shirts for Graphic Sublimation Success!

- I would love to be more experienced at the task of bleaching t-shirts for sublimation. Honestly, I still need more practice at it, as you'll clearly see in this video. But I did an okay job of at least explaining the process as I tried to show it on camera... sort of, lol!! If you're wondering what happened to the original graphic that I showed the back of, since I do not have the copyright license for that design and because I botched the bleach spot into being a much bigger one than originally needed, I switched to a different graphic for sublimating, one that I do have the license to use and another one that I "designed" myself and sell in my merch store. The bleaching gods laughed and laughed.

Hopefully, even though I wouldn't ever consider this a t-shirt bleaching tutorial (ever!), I do hope it at least provided some entertainment 😁😁 If anyone has bleaching tips or tricks, I'm always open to (nice) suggestions for improving my obviously noob-level technique!
You are never not entertaining I'm pretty sure you would make us laugh while cleaning the tub or toilet 🩵🤣
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle 😁😁😁
Always entertaining to watch and listen to!😄
Love Love Love!! You rocked the modeling!! You’re such a joy to watch and bring so many ideas to the table!! Thanks For being YOU!!
Aw, thank you so much!!😊🥰
So Awesome. I want that press so bad but not in budget. Wish I did videos so they would send me one... Love the shirts. Nice job. Because bleach spots are like grunge...your over spay looms fine. Also your carrying it on to back is very nice touch. Hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
Thank you very much!! 😊🥰
Shimmy shimmy shimmy with a side of futz! I love both of these they came out great!!!! The prints were perfect for these shirts. I still have to record my shirt video and I just don't wanna 🤣
Thank you!! I figured “Leave ‘em laughing” was the best possible outro for this video 🤣🤣
Need to start getting supplies to try this when the weather warms up.
Yes, I’m hoping to get a lot more bleaching practice in soon! I’ve seen other UA-cam videos where the person lays the shirts right on the grass, which honestly seems a lot easier than me trying to fit shirts on a bench or small table like I did here.
I love how the shirts turned out. Your modeling demo was awesome! Very fun! The knife was a little alarming but overall it was great! Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you!!😊😊🔪
You always show me new (to me) things and always a laugh or two 😂 thank you!
Thank you!! 😊😊
Love them. The model and extra was amazing lol 😂
Thank you!! She thanks you, too 😁😁
Those turned out great!!! And your model did an awesome job!!!!!!
Thank you! LOL! I'll let her know! 🤣🤣
@@LuxindasOtherObsessions please do!! Lol
So entertaining! Thanks for sharing! And the tutorial part is amazing!
Thanks so much!😊😊
I learn so much watching your tutorials. 😍 Thank you for the great hack with the hydrogen peroxide! You rock 😎
Thank you!! Glad it was useful! 😊😊
Ha! These are so cool! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you!!😊😊😊
You never cease to amaze. Love your style❤😘 you are such a joy!! Have you considered a template of the shirt itself with a cutout of where you want your graphic? Just a thought😊
Thank you!! I actually have tried that, but it’s almost too constricted, like the bleach spot is too specific. I need something in between too specific and too blown out, lol! I’ll get there 🤔🤣 some day
@@LuxindasOtherObsessions I totally get it!!! More randomized movement I call it. Lol 😆 🤣
Ok here is one for you and I don’t have time before we head off to the US to try it. Over in Oz we don’t seem to get many 65/35% t-shirts so i’ve been working on just cotton with DFT. How do you thing that the DFT would react on a bleached t-shirt? Would the bleach affect the process in some way? Suitcase is a bit light on with clothes at the moment so perhaps i might try and grab some “Heather” shirts whilst there. Great video as usual xxxx
Thank you!! Ooh, interesting question. The bleaching shouldn’t affect the DFT at all because the color and the bleach are all washed out at the point where the DFT goes on. So it should work fine unless there’s some other aspect I’m not thinking of…
Do you dilute the bleach?
No, not at all
Sometimes, you scare me.
Lol!! 🔪
