I live in then UK where we have 3 motorcycle licences that restrict the power of the bike we can ride. So I've been on a YBR125 for 2 years but today I got to try out a Ducati Monster 620 from 2007 and it was a lot of fun and felt like a rocket ship compare to my bike.

Absolutely! I used it to bring around stuff that did not fit in my pockets, documents, sometimes food and water, shoes for the beach and stuff like that. Obviously you cannot bring stuff, but it’s useful

I want a 620 but I’m afraid it won’t be enough bike. I was going to buy one two years ago but bought a buell xb9 at the last second. I sold the buell late last year and bought an sfv650. Anyone know how the 620 compares to those?
I owned both and I disagree. Performance was quite similar, the 696 had just a bit better acceleration and 5kph higher top speed. But the 696 had a much more refined handling
Nice! My top speeds oscillate around 190km/h, but I am a heavy and tall rider. Is your Monster setup stock, or has it some tweaks done? I already read about giannelli pipes (sounds marvelous) anything else modified? Cheers!
I have a 2002 monster 620 did 155 it goes faster??? I havent gone faster because I love my Ducati lol its a salvage. What do u think? Mountain roads like butter, dare i take it higher?
In theory you cannot speed like this here either. But in most countries in Europe we have the "stick to the right" highway code rule, so the left lane is mostly empty.
Nope man, in Italy and most of Europe the left lane is the fastest lane. Excluding some exceptions you can’t overtake on the right. Therefore it is customary to keep the blinker on when you’re on the left lane to be more visible. In this case i sometimes drifted to the right when there was no one around, but always went back to the left to overtake. Hope I was clear 😊
You’re right, I’m always careful. But in this case it wasn’t wrong. In Italy it is customary to keep the left indicator on when you’re in the fast lane (you cannot overtake on the right) to be more visible so that slower cars notice you and move out of the way
Ciao!
Devono garantirti che siano state fatte.
It is customary in Italy (and I think most of Europe) to keep the left turn signal on if you are overtaking, because we can overtake only on the left. I sometimes move to the right just to keep a better trajectory when there are no other cars around.
But you can overtake on both sides, right? Here the lanes on the left side are the fastest (when there are three lanes usually trucks can stay only on the two on the right and there is a minimum speed for the left ones)
@@Axe991 yes here the left lane is considered the fast lane. You can pass a car on the right though if it's 3 lanes. Slower vehicles can go 45 mph on the freeway and the speed limits are usually 65-70 mph
Ok, here the Highway Code says that you have to stay in the rightmost lane available to keep the current speed. So in theory if the road is empty you should stay on the right even if you’re doing the speed limit. Otherwise you could get fined. The speed limit is 130kmh in Italy

High beam by day and repeaters all the time. Fantastic.Bravo !

Love the bike I have the 2003 ducati monster 620 dark I.e (5 gears) and am currently doing a few changes to the appearance what is the netting you have over the tank? Looks great

If the bike is ok it should get to 200 without any problems. More than that it struggles and depends on the bike. Good luck! 🏁
Do these things got enough power to wheelie?
Power wheelies, no. Clutch wheelies, absolutely! Check my other videos (I'm not so good at them)
