      Hi! Still Incredibly happy, even though for the road I would like more the 821... LoL. Apart from the completely open exhaust, no other changes. I like it how it is. I might change the indicators in the future, but nothing else

      LOL! Anyway, the 1200 has too much power for the road if I have to be honest. Everything is too hectic, you can never go full throttle in the twisty roads and sometimes you just use the first 2 gears

    I’m deciding on this base model or the S version but it’s a $5k price difference where I am looking right now. With all things being equal except the suspension. Do you think the Base model suspension is good or is the Ohlins suspension on the S a must have?

    • @Axe991
      @Axe991  3 роки тому +1

      The base suspension is really good BUT the Ohlins is better. Depends on you experience and on how you're gonna use it. I have too little experience to understand the differences, but if you plan to go to the track I would suggest the S version.

    • @jfj60616
      @jfj60616 2 роки тому

      I have the base and have no complaints. On a track might be a different story but you can still adjust the suspension on the base.

    Bro ho una moto uguale alla tua..con sc filtro e mappa al banco...e nel cambio di trasmissione finale ho montato una corona più 2... è praticamente un aereo... ovviamente in allungo ho perso..la tua quanto ti fa velocità massima? è mappata?

    • @Axe991
      @Axe991  3 роки тому

      Ciao! Ha il modello mio o una 17 (come sembra dal nome)? La mia ha solo scarico (con raccordo de-catalizzato). Al massimo l’ho portata a 261 prima di vagarmi sotto, ma non credo che avrebbe superato i 270 segnati. Adesso che ho tolto il parabrezza probabilmente neanche arriva a 261. La tua?

    • @monstermy1725
      @monstermy1725 3 роки тому

      @@Axe991 sisi è una 17..credevo lo fosse anche la tua..io ci ho preso max 256..poi dovresti stare lì a tenere aperto e salire lentamente e il vento è troppo..adesso coi rapporti accorciati e mappa fa più meno lo stesso perché ho accorciato ma allo stesso tempo ho aumentato la cavalleria.. Insomma va uguale a prima ma li prendo molto più velocemente... Per il discorso 270 nn credo ci arrivi.. Un po' sotto si... Quindi tu hai la base 14 la 135cv senza mappa?

    • @monstermy1725
      @monstermy1725 3 роки тому

      Aspetta adesso ho visto meglio.. Abbiamo lo stesso modello... L ultimo base... L hai portata pure a vallelunga.. In quanto hai girato? .. Anche io.. Una sola volta però.. E l altra a magione... Cmq ci ho fatto 40000km e una serie di modifiche che hanno cambiato completamente la moto.. Se hai bisogno di consigli chiedi pure

    • @Axe991
      @Axe991  3 роки тому

      Ok, errore mio. Ero convinto che la 2014 arrivasse fino al ‘17 e che poi dal ‘18 ci fosse il nuovo modello. La mia è 2018, quindi abbiamo la stessa. Il cupolino cambia tantissimo sai? Non so se tu ce l’hai ma sulla mia vecchia 696 togliendo il cupolino ero passato da 220 di max a 205, perché poi il motore non aveva abbastanza coppia per aprire l’aria. Comunque io la mappa non l’ho fatta perché la centralina è molto “elastica” di serie e per di più parte molto grassa, quindi anche aprendo tutto non si è smagrita più di tanto

    • @monstermy1725
      @monstermy1725 3 роки тому

      @@Axe991 sisi ce l ho.. Può essere effettivamente che rallenti.. Ma nn è un problema già va troppo... Cmq mi sn andato a vedere i commenti del video di vallelunga.. Già ti avevo scritto..d altronde nn lo teniamo in molti questo mezzo..

    Hi there any chance you can tell me what windscreen you are using? Thank you

    • @Axe991

      Hi! It's the Ducati Performance Touring one. You can find it in the official Ducati configurator.

      @@Axe991 thanks you... 1 more question is there significant difference by adding it? Running in high speeds

    • @Axe991
      @Axe991  3 роки тому

      Absolutely. The windscreen is a bit uncomfortable at around 120-130km/h, as the turbulence it creates is exactly on the helmet. But the neck fatigue is much less anyway on the long run. For speeds above 160 for more than 15 minutes it’s absolutely necessary, as it avoids neck pain. Above 220 it’s a no brainer, as you can tuck in behind it and the difference becomes huge.
      I’ve removed it for aesthetics, but I’m gonna put it back soon, because for any highway trip longer than 1h it makes life much better.
      Hope this answered your question 😊
