I was just in Edinburgh on the 13th. We were only there for the day. The Royal Mile was very busy. What an amazing city. I had watched your video when you walked the Royal Mile. It really helped us decide what to check out. I hope to be back to check out more!
I’m one of those tourist coming to town...will arrive In Edinburgh next week. You’re an amazing storyteller!! Thanks for the entertaining videos...they’ve helped educate me on what to see and do during my stay in Scotland.
Keep it up your information is spot on for those of us that cross the pond. I can't wait to visit again and sit up stairs at Deacon Brodie's tavern by an open window with another amazing cider and a plate of sausage and mash. Would you mind doing the history of Arthur's seat
The most widely accepted theory for her miraculous recovery was that the constant shooglin' and bouncin' of the cart on the cobbled streets kick started her heart. This story is quite ironic for me in that I live in Musselburgh. Until recently our neighbours were the Dixon family (no Maggie though). I went to Holyrood High School in Duddingston close to the Sheep's Hied Pub where she apparently recovered. As a former police constable my beat included the Grass Market. I actually worked from the police box you see next to the site of the hanging. Spooky :-)
Or probably they didnt tight the rope so she was hanging by the rear part of the neck and jaw, obviously she passed out, they quicky took her. It was like a pass out similar to mma submission.
As I've said before you are an amazing and gifted story teller and I loved that you included all the "distractions" The wife and I are coming over later this summer so I hope all this great weather sticks around! Have you ever thought about setting up a Facebook page to share your content on? Anyway keep up the great work, you always bring a smile to my Saturday mornings

Amazing they didnt claim she was a witch.....
Don't think they needed to, they were already gonna hang her.
