I love your videos and have been watching for a couple of months as I plan my June vacation to Edinburgh. First of all, I’m pretty sure water came out of my nose when you tripped at the end because I was mid-drink and started laughing. However I had to comment and say that one of the things I like about the videos is that you are so relatable and when I watch I feel like I’m listening to a friend tell me about Edinburgh. The thing that cemented my forever admiration of Clan Broonford is the fact that you believe Muppet Christmas Carol is the best adaptation of a Christmas Carol. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but anyone who doesn’t agree is wrong 😂 Keep making great videos so I can live vicariously through you. Much love to you and the rest of the Clan. ❤️

WIfe and I visit Edinburgh for a weekend at least once a year, often twice, and thought we'd seen it all and knew it all until I found this quality series of videos. Actually watched a load of them back to back the other night instead of the telly! Coming back when this flippin lock down is over, much to see now.

I just found your videos last week. Doing research for my trip in 2019. I'm visiting Ireland, Scotland and England for a 4 week holiday. I Can't wait. And your videos are making me more excited. I've been binge watching for two days now. (obviously not 24 hours, I do have to work). But your videos are Amazing. I can't believe you don't have more subscribers.
Yes please, continue making more videos. The closes, food, all the hints, tricks and shortcuts. I'll watch anything you create. Wow, just wow!! Keep it up. Thank you!! May God Bless you and your Family!

Absolutely fantastic!! You are the best Scottish vlogger on UA-cam! You weave the stories, architecture, wit, and wisdom. I will be in Edinburgh in October and will definitely be checking out all the places you have vlogged. Thanks for the shout out and my favorite line from A Muppets Christmas Carol, "Light the lamp and not the rat"! Have a beautiful day my friend and I look forward to seeing you both on your videos.

Your videos are getting addictive. We just moved to Balerno from Warwickshire 2 years ago - hubby was born in the Simpson Memorial then cruelly moved to Aberdeen aged 8. He finally returned home aged 49. I love Edinburgh and how your showing it off without it being hurdy gurdy worthy boring.

Charles Dickens found the gravestone of Ebenezer Scroggie in the Canongate Kirk and misread it as a 'mean man' when it actually said a 'meal man'.
Love your videos of Edinburgh ❤

Your story telling abilities and sense of humour are awesome. The little coffin's feature in both Ian Rankin's book "The Falls" and a Rebus TV episode. Speaking of which maybe you could do a Rebus's Edinburgh video it would take you from The Oxford bar on Young Street to his flat on Arden Street, Flesmarket Close to Saint Leonards, Fettes etc. A must do for your tea room video for me would be Forsyth's tea room on Chalmers close. It's a tiny little room with maybe 6 tables. Christina the lady that owns it is just wonderful (she is a real Grandmotherly type) and the food is wonderful.

Hi from Oz. 🐨 Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful city with us. I visited in 2013, with my daughter and am so excited to be returning to Edingburgh for 3 days next year, during a trip back to Scotland, with my Hubby, who hasn't been before. Cant wait to show him the most beautiful country I know. Thanks for the tip about the Scottish history section of the mueseum. When visiting other countries, I'm only interested in local history. So that will save time. Keep up your good work entertaining and educating us. 🇦🇺

Your videos are different class. Every single one of them. I stay in West Lothian but love Edinburgh. But after watching your videos you’ve given me so much more ideas for days out. This is one of my favourite videos you’ve done. Along with the series on the closes of the royal mile. One thing I will say though. You didn’t show us the grave of ebenezer scroogey 😂😂 Also the fall at the end of this video was hilarious. By humans

In the mid 1990s I was in Edinburgh several times and saw the Maiden at it's old location in the Antiquities Museum in New Town on a couple of occasions. Each time I had a really strange feeling around it, but I shrugged it off as it was a device that had been used for executions. Around 2000 a cousin finished an extensive family genealogy and when I got my copy I learned that Godfrey McCulloch, the last person executed on the Maiden, was an eight times great uncle.

I love coming to Edinburgh, I have been a few times during the fringe. As a comedy junkie it is the perfect holiday for me. I have been also outside of the fringe to do the tourist things. I would to take a month off work and properly tour around Scotland. If life would let me I probably would move to Edinburgh as I love the city so much.

Great stuff! Love the history in your videos. Edinburgh in itself oozes it. I just arrived home tonight from our weeklong trip but I can tell you that I absolutely fell in love with the charm and ease of Edinburgh and the absolute gorgeous beauty of Scotland. We definitely did not have enough time. I’m definitely going back. Maybe my list was a bit lofty because while I wanted to see things I also wanted to be able to meander around and relax but we did not finish my list. From the old history of Edinburgh to the stunningly gorgeous Highlands then to the calm beauty of Ayrshire, I was heartbroken to leave. I did get sunburn pretty badly though! 😅

Omg! I absolutely love your videos. I'm going to wow my friends today when I tell them about those dolls. And I promise, if I see anyone rubbing Bobbys (Bobbies)? nose, I'll yell Tony said don't touch the nose lmao! I wonder if you could do a video on authentic Scottish souvenirs but not the obvious ones or touristy ones. Must be travel friendly. Maybe small locally handcrafted. If that's not a video idea, than can you list a couple in comments please. I trust you now lol. We're friends now. I even call you Tony lol! Can't wait for your next video.
