Take a drink every time Michael says; "we need this in our house".
One day…….they better give us a house tour! 💕
Haha!
I followed your advice and just been discharged from hospital.
Just as well we have the NHS as I’d need a new liver asap loo
I'm dead!
I’ve lived in Edinburgh all my life, My dad, who died 10 years ago, was a guide in St Giles, particularly the Thistle Chapel. He loved doing that job as a volunteer.
Thats so awesome. Whats it like living there?
@@whoisharo4689I live in Edinburgh too it’s awesome living here !! So much culture & so much to see & do ! You must visit once in your life !
@@lyndsygillespie4184 I really want to see your city. Hopefully someday
Did you see any ghost?
LOL poor Michael, Jessicas interaction with the tame owl was just beautiful. Michael drew the short straw and got the pecky raven. Such great job on staying calm given the fear of birds. Both gorgeous animals
Reminds me of Hogwarts.
I love both birds❤❤❤❤
That’s right! I forgot how scared he is of birds. He did a great job! Beautiful owl
Awesome video Grimms I absolutely loved it, and actually that's one of the places I would love to see in Scotland one day, but I'm glad you and Jessica had an awesome time at that location and watching your videos is always great to take my mind off stress at the end of day and I love you guys for what you do 😊😊👻👻😁😁💀💀🎃🎃
The raven suited Michael more I live in England
And I am so jealous watching this video
One day I am going to go to Edinburgh and have a raven on my arm 🇬🇧
The tour guide on the ghost tour is "off the charts".
What a great performer!
Lenore the raven looked beautiful.
Great video.
A wonderful feeling to get on UA-cam and find a full 47 minutes Grimm video on a Friday! Thanks for the amazing content! The tour guide sounded like a Scottish Mark Hamil Joker 🎃
Edinburgh is my favourite city in Scotland. So much history! As a Scot I hope you both enjoyed our country and we hope you'll be back again soon 💙🏴💙
Beautiful country. Hope to
Visit there someday! 😊
Hello, cuz. Just found out I'm 38% Scottish. I just adore the Scottish accent.
I mean what can I say THIS CHANNEL by far is one of the best horror/goth entertaining channels by far , the dedication, time , money you guys have put into it to take us along these beautiful, spooky, rare journeys is amazing PLS PLS PLS IM BEGGING YOU , DONT ever say stop making these ! We love when you guys upload ! This channel is awesome!
I’ve been watching you all for a while now. As a person of an older generation, it is wonderful to see a younger couple enjoy and share such a fantastic journey. There is one thing that struck me in this video even more than any other for some reason: as Jessica looks out the bus window just before the cemetery stop - she is stunning. I haven’t seen that type of non-surgical beauty since H Lamar or V Leigh. If I had that beauty when I was young … 🤣 Thank you both for all of the adventures!
She really is and her internal beauty makes her even moreso!
This is so cozy it warms my soul like a hot cup of tea and a massage after a long walk in the cold!
This is my anxiety medicine.
This is gold! ❤
I can imagine Michael trying to casually sneak half of Edinburgh through customs because he ‘needs it all in his house’ 😂
Also, can I just say, thank you for pronouncing Edinburgh correctly. It’s so rare to hear Americans say it right 😆 Well done! 👏
how long will it take Michael to realize HIS HOUSE needs to be in Edinburgh
Edinburgh is a beautiful old city, you can feel the history everywhere you go. I’m so glad you guys got to experience it in person.
Can’t believe you guys were a couple of hours away from me 😮 Hope you enjoyed your time here 🖤 The Raven drinks water, like how my black German Shepherd girl does 😂 Please comeback soon, would LOVE to meet you both 💕
Edinburgh is one of the most impressively gothic and beautiful cities I’ve ever been to. I’m so glad you went there and were able to explore it so extensively. I only spent one day when I went but I wish it was longer. Thank you always for sharing your adventures with us! Happy Halloween! 🎃 🖤 💚
That bus tour looked like so much fun and the tour guide was hilarious!
Michael and Jessica would be the best travel companions! Find all the unique and creepy and gothic and scenic locations everywhere…. 🕸️🕷️🦇🦉🐦⬛
Your ghost tour guide was awesome! What a beautiful city! I’d love to visit one day. ♥️ Thank you for taking us along!
Absolutely loved this video. Am I the only one who noticed the zombie/vampire during the ghost tour
Yeh, I saw it. Had to do a double take
The owls and raven were great. The Ghost Bus tour guide fit the Grimm Life Collective vibe and comically spooky too.
He was an extremely good tour guide. I'm not normally that into that type of thing but he killed it.
I'm so jealous! You two got to hold a owl and a raven🖤....I swear I lived a past life in medieval times. Even as a kid I just loved everything about that era. Thank you for sharing.
Nearly an hour of Grimm Life exploring the capital city of my country, a couple of hours across the road? YES. Hope you guys come back!
We were last in Scotland during the time when Queen Elizabeth II had died and was held in state in St Giles Cathedral. So beautiful and awesome, but so pleased with your videos. Well done Michael for holding the raven and glad to see that you and Jessica are enjoying yourselves.
32:16 did anybody else notice the guy standing in the background .... his face changed 👻
Yep! Guessing a lot of people missed that!
Yeah, I saw it. I initially thought he had a spooky helmet on until it disappeared. He kept staring at the camera and not the tour guide.
i watched it on lowest speed and it's still baffling. What if even the Grimms dont know what it was? Scary.
@@joejones9520 😱
Wow
Guinevere & Lenore (& the tiny owl) were gorgeous! Thank you sharing them & the stunning (& spooky) views of Edinburgh with us! I love getting to see what adventures the Grimms are getting into.
I had so much fun watching this episode. The owls, the raven, the church and specially the ghost bus tour. That was awesome. Thank you for sharing this.
😂 The look on your face with the Raven was both terror n fascination all at the same time! Good Job🐦⬛
Michael! So proud of you today! You faced your fear. Birds are beautiful and I’m happy you have given them a chance….can’t lie but I had to giggle 💕🐿
I love this bus! Baby Ghoul is too cute with her expressions 😂 and, of course, love that green hair ❤
The bird interactions were awesome
And that ghost bus tour was hilarious
Love you both, glad you having a good time touring about ❤
It’s been amazing seeing you here in the UK, and obviously loving our richly macabre history - which we’re guilty of sometimes taking for granted. Pure viewing pleasure - if and when you have to leave please come back soon: there’s tons more to explore! 💀
This episode was one of the best to date IMHO. I just love seeing the things that most people just walk past! Outstanding production as well. Cheers to Jessica for the Owl interaction and especially to Micheal for walking through the frear to hold the raven. Keep up the fantastic work!
As fun as all this looks I know how hard it is to do these videos and turn them out with such high level of production
Truly Appreciate it !
Man some of the views you capture are spectacular. Glad to see baby ghoul braved the cold to come out into the elements on yalls journey and not stay in the car, j/k. That's awesome to be able to hold the owl and pet her. Jessica looked like she was in heaven. Michael looked terrified and excited all at the same time. Happy Halloween 🎃
I only realised after the 3rd or 4th time of you saying it, but kudos for pronouncing Edinburgh correctly 😁.
I grew up not far from Edinburgh, midway between there and Glasgow. I've done the Mary King's Close experience, i love history, so found it fascinating rather than horrifying. I also did the Blair Street Vaults tour around the same time. Again, i found it fascinating and perhaps oddly, i felt very relaxed and peaceful in there. Again as something historical, i thought it was very interesting, knowing that businesses were opened in the vaults, that people lived in there. The place must've been heaving.
It's great you came over to Scotland and from what you've uploaded so far, seemed to have a great time.
As we say here. Haste ye back.
I never want your videos to end! Since discovering you guys a few months ago i'm hooked! I'm in Dundee Scotland,I so wish you'd have had time to visit our ancient cemetery,it's called 'The Howff'. Please give it a little look. 1800 headstones but between 80-100 thousand bodies buried. Fascinating place! Keep up the amazing work! ❤❤❤
The Howff is most certainly worth a visit!!! Dundee is also a great wee place.
You gotta love how Michael is amazing with his videos! Thank you for another fascinating tour! Loved everything you shared here. It was awesome!
We have thousands of ancient cathedrals and minsters all over the UK. On the outside and inside you will find gargoyles and grotesques, and many other things besides, including various skulls, and family and royal crests. Have you seen the very ancient Rosslyn Chapel 7 miles south of Edinburgh? It was used by the Knights Templar and used in The Da Vinci Code. The chapel is owned by the Rosslyn family. 🖤💀☠🖤
Yes,the crypt at Hythe, the Church in Thirsk with its wonderful gargoyles.
@@pheart2381 We've got amazing old crypts and more in virtually every village, town and city across the UK. More castles, more ghosts, and more real history. We don't need movie sets because we are one!
This adventure you and Jessica have taken us on in the last month has been an incredible ride. Today was just so much fun on that bus tour, and I’m so glad you decided to take it!
You each handled those wonderful birds well, and were not timid at all! You both used great command and composure! It took me back to when I worked as an animal keeper, and we worked with various owls! Thank you for all of this!❤
Awesome video guys
The Owls and the Raven were stunning. .
Many thanks!
Oh, I love that owl and the raven! Awesomeness!!!
The birds were gorgeous and the church was beautiful! Thank you for sharing your journey!
That was absolutely awesome! ❤❤❤ Great video - beautiful, historical, educational, and best of all spooky. The ghost tour was so entertaining!! I love that tour guide! He stayed in character and quick witted too. ❤ Thank you and great job @Grimmlifecollective
Just the name Edinburgh brings so much to the mind. I'm a Walker. My family had immigrated to Ireland centuries ago and came from Dublin to New York. Cousin was James Walker NYC mayor 1925- 1932. Would love to see where we came from, but at 60, I don't see that ever happening.
❤ I have family from Scotland. I will be 60 this year, its my dream . Here's to hopefully getting to see these places someday!
@@user-ty2xv6xw8jI'm a Scotsman- if either of you would like photos of anywhere related to your history (that happen to be near me- I live in Edinburgh) then just let me know and I shall take some for you 😊
@jonathanlandau-litewski7405
Yes!! Yes!! Please 🙏!! My Grampa was born in Edinburgh!! I would absolutely love and appreciate that !!
I don't have many pics at all..(flood here ruined most of my stuff- memories). My Grampa was born in 1904. Came to the USA around 1918?? IDK 🤷♀️. I wish he was here to ask. I'd appreciate anything you send. I always wanted to see Bobby @ Greyfriars Kirkyard. 🩷🩷
@@user-ty2xv6xw8jhey there, I'd also be able to help with your genealogy if you'd be interested? I'm Glaswegian but have been to Edinburgh too many times to count. I am also a self professed historian lol so would be more than happy to help you with your Scottish history 😊
I'm waiting for one of your talented super fans to create a 3D model of what The Grimms house would really look like if it contained every item Michael ever said, we need this in our house to! Another great adventure! Thank you!
It would need to be the size of one of these castles 🤣
What an amazing and beautiful video as always! Thanks for sharing.
Great video , noticed the zombie face at 32:14 🧟♂️ 😎🇬🇧👍
The videos just keep getting better and better. Thank you fo your taking us on your spooky journeys 💜🖤🎥👻
Im quite certain that the little goblin at 32:15 put a spell on me...
Well that was incredible. What an interesting and beautiful city with such a dark and grim past. Clear why Grim Life visited it. The Ghost Bus was absolutely amazing. That host was a dead ringer of a talented chap. 32:15 the ghost shows itself briefly. You’re right, from dark and evil can become bright and good. Thank you for taking us with you.
Wow!! That was Soo much fun. I'm such a big bird lover. Especially the owls and the raven. I just love those birds. The Castle was very beautiful along with the church. The ghost bus tour was hilarious. I'm so very proud of you Michael for coming out of your comfort zone about birds. You were amazing holding that raven Lanore❤️. Jessica got to hold 2 owls that was so beautiful to see. Stay safe and have fun. 🎃🖤
“For today’s Grimm adventure”, my 4 favourite words on UA-cam, especially when you’re in my country 🏴🙌😎
What a fantastic video! It was so cool to see you both holding those beautiful birds. We love you both, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your journeys!
So happy for you both to have had a great time in the UK. It will provoke fond memories of your history of the UK. Have a good journey back to L A.
We will miss you so much. Come back soon you both Michael and Jessica. Good luck with your European travels.
This is amazing! Thanks for putting Scotland on the map. If I’d have known you were here I’d of came and said hello.
The patronus scene was interesting. Rowling wrote all of the HP series whilst living in Edinburgh, so obviously a lot of the city’s details made it into the story - the castle being the school, the architecture, other little things that may go unnoticed, etc.
Also, a couple of little things for you (if you’re interested). Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein whilst residing in Scotland - that explains that incredible bar and Jekyll and Hyde was wrote by Robert L. Stevenson who was an Edinburgh native born and bred. The city, and the country of Scotland, has always been fascinated with the macabre and darker side of life.
Glad you enjoyed your trip. I hope you and your good lady were treated with that world famous Scottish hospitality that we pride ourselves on. Until next time 😊
It should be noted that Stevenson was very likely inspired to write Jekyll and Hyde due to the Educated Gentlemen of the Surgeons School purchasing Corpses from the body-snatchers. Basically prim and well groomed, but working in what were likely shady dealings, translated into the dichotomy between the Gentleman Jekyll, and Brutish Hyde.
@@dustinwashburn1283I heard only yesterday that he based it on the city of Edinburgh itself, the stark contrast between the Old Town and the New Town.
Saving this 47 minutes up for my late night viewing pleasure tonight. Edinburgh is a lovely city. Oh, please, please do go to Whitby in North Yorkshire. So atmospheric and beautiful and i think you would both ❤ it.
Our Hostel was right behind St. Giles Cathedral. Scotland was just so wonderful. Was there back in September. So much to take in
Wow. That owl Jessica held was majestic- and Michael with Lenore, you’re at a castle in Scotland- wow. Grimmlifecollective is outstanding content!🖤
I've enjoyed every video on your trip. Being in Edinburgh reminds me of the time we were there. Royal Mile? Start at the top, the Castle, then walk down, to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The day we visited was in March, a clear and sunny day, but chilly. We were dressed appropriately.
But as we passed the shops and pubs on the way down, I was puzzled. The streets outside the pubs were jammed with people, most looking like they were dressed for the beach. I never saw so much pasty skin in my life. I later realized that that day was probably the first sunny, blue-sky day of the year. And they were taking full advantage! Love you guys!
Never grim when the grimms are about happy halloween 🎃 guys
Good morning from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains 🌄🍁
Awesome!! Thank you for bringing us all along!! 👻🎃
Awesome video as always ...! And even better after having met the two of you yeeterday in Essen. You are a great couple and the perfect companion for many more Grimm Adventures to come ❤
It's definitely nice seeing other parts of Edinburgh than what other people show in other videos! ❤❤❤
I think its cool that u guys get to go to places that most of us can't go to. I love it when u guys show these beautiful places. Incidentally, did u know Scotland's own bay city rollers came from there? They we're a 70s teen band . my personal favorite.❤
BCR ❤❤❤
Loved this 🖤 I sent a photo over on Facebook of my Irish Wolfhound watching Michael interact with the Raven
That was one of the best Ghost Tours I’ve seen & I have been on quite a few
Happy Halloween 🎃
Thank you micheal and jessica for taking us on a great video you both look great with the birds thanks again
This was totally awesome!!! I absolutely loved this video!! I’m so jelly, I’ve always wanted to visit Scotland. I’ve been to Ireland, one day I’ll make it to Scotland. Can’t wait for the next video!! Happy Halloween 🖤💀🖤💀🖤💀
Thanks so much for taking us with you on the tour! I felt like i was there with you!
Michael & Jessica, omg, this video was so AMAZING... I love history & this was so interesting to me. I told my husband that we have to go to Scotland soon because we need to see this beautiful castle. Thank you for this breathtaking video. I hope you both are having a wonderful time.
If you ever do come here to Edinburgh, I'd be happy to give you all sorts of recommendations depending on what you're interested in. Having been born and lived here my entire life I know my city like the back of my own hand, even all the lesser known beauty spots and historical sites.
Awesome! I'm at work now. I'm going to wait until I get home to watch. I only watch your new videos on my TV.
Edinburgh is a beautiful city full of history I just love Edinburgh and you and Jessica so much
Brilliant tour of a stunning city. I've only spent a day & a half there before, something I must rectify. The ghost bus tour looked look a hoot, great host too. Hah and I liked how you superimposed the spooky face over one of the people on the tour for a few seconds. I was like wait, what!
I want to compliment the camerawork too with your videos, good quality & smooth.
I love this. Thank u for sharing your travels. Its wonderful because alot of us cant afford to do things like this. Thanks again. Love u guys
wow the owls and raven are beautiful. good job michael for going through your fear of birds. jessica fell in love with the owl :). i love scotland :) amazing video you two.hope you enjoyed your stay here in the u.k
So good to see yous both exploring different areas in my home country🏴 That Owl and Raven was beautiful and that tour promoter was cracking me up haha😂
My brother is in Perth Scotland...being in Edinburgh is fantastic. So much to see there. Enjoyed s÷ing the sights again with you two.
Why was there a weird head on the tourist at 32:15 ?? 😂 LOVED this episode so much we are now currently booking a trip to Edinburgh ourselves because of the lovely things you’ve shown us! 🖤🧟♂️🦉
I saw it to, maybe michael put it in as an easter egg thing or he had a run in with the guy, anyway a great video from you guys keep up the good work
Im glad someone else saw it 😂 man I love this channel
That shit was creepy!!!
Lol i had seen it too…at first i was like damn he gotta big as head
Obsessed with this video your trip here just validated how much I've wanted to go to Scotland. I have traveled to many places in Europe and this one always slipped me by. Your content is always amazing and both of you are such sweet and fun guides through it all. Thank you for taking us on this haunted and magical voyage I was mesmerized immediately with the Owl and the Raven in old windy cobblestone streets. And Frankenstein's lab is a must for me since Mary Shelley is one of my favorite authors. So cool.
If you do ever come here, then avoid the graveyard from the bus tour in the morning. It's not uncommon for a homeless person to be found dead after an overdose in one of the sheltered areas.
The river that fed the Nor' Loch still runs underneath the gardens, you walked over it. There are manhole covers that if lifted you can see the river. Can only imagine the smell in that area back in the day, everything would wash from the filthy streets into it, 'Auld Reekie'. Another great video.
You've outdone yourself grimmlife from this bad-boy showcase of my beloved Scotland. Ravens, Owls, Cathedrals and the Frankenstein's lab...it's all too fantastic. You captured it all. Wonderful video, one of your best.
Great video! Thank you. I love the owl and the raven. Beautiful birds, place, and church! So much fun, great job to both of you. Sending much love. 🦉🎃
Oh man! This has to be my favorite Grimm-Video! I absolutely LOVE Scotland and everything witchy. Scotland is still on my To Do List, but I want to get down to a healthy weight, so I can actually enjoy it fully. Please continue to do these awesome videos! I absolutely love your channel!
You guys MUST see the Scottish Owl Center. It is 100% worth the trip. It’s just outside of Edinburgh, but worth it.
What?! Where is it?! I live in Edinburgh and I love owls! We have one that wakes me up at night, it flies into our communal garden 😊
The owl is so beautiful ❤! I love castles! This is an amazing episode! The raven is amazing! Omg the cathedral is breathtaking! I think Mary Queen of Scott’s lived around here too!
I wish I knew you guys were in town. Would of loved to have met you both. Try being drunk in Frankensteins when he pops out, freaks you out 👍🏻
Your videos are so fabulous. Thank you for showing us the history of Scotland. I love the care you always put into making a fantastic vid!! From ohio
The tour guide needs his own cable show, his comedy is great and he’s as “deadpan” as you can get. The Frankenstein restaurant was incredible. Thanks again.
ITS ALIVE!! ITS ALIVE!! I was hoping to hear that when Frank was lowered. I loved watching your video here in Holcomb Kansas the Clutter family. And where I grew up near the Amityville house. You and your beautiful wife have never let us down. Peace love and safe travel home.
Another great view of my Gothic city. Not sure if you are still in town but the Surgeons Hall museum has the death mask of William Burke and a diary covered with his skin. His skeleton is held by the Anatomy School at Edinburgh University but can only be viewed by the public on a special Open Day once a year. Hope you have more to show
That was awesome! I so want to visit Scotland. And the owls and raven were gorgeous
I've lived in England all my life and I still yet to visit Edinburgh it looks amazing, I've been binge watching your videos lately keep up the good work guys 😁🦇
I’m from Middlesbrough in England and a few years ago I worked in Edinburgh for 2 years definitely a must visit, another great video.
Once again Michael and Jessica make an amazing video! I was able to visit Scotland a few years ago, absolutely beautiful country! Edinburgh's castle is a sight I will never forget, just stunning, and so much history there. Thank you guys for the content! The guy doing the ghost tour did an amazing job, he deserves a standing ovation.
The Frankenstein show was something else
This was a great video! Edinburgh is a stunning city, I'd love to see it one day too. Thanks for sharing your journey. Loved the raven and owl bit! So cool.
This was great! Loved the tour. The tour guide was excellent! So beautiful there.
All I can say is I loved it!!!! It was almost like I was there with you guys!
love edinburgh. and they have a great ghost tour that ends with a cooking and shot of scotch.
Freaky I’m so scared baby goul and owl looks so cute together she a natural❤
Man you guys have had an awesome trip!!! So freaking cool!!!! Love yall!!!! 😋
