A woman knows when another woman is being manipulative and shady and MHJ is being shady af. And she's taught NJ all her tricks. Unfortunately most straight men are clueless when it comes to how a woman can be. They think because a face is pretty, sweet and innocent looking that their character must be as well. That is so far from the truth
Yeah. I'm a straight guy and I can see through it. A lot of people just don't have the self awareness or integrity to admit when they're falling into the trap of motivated reasoning like this.
@@nerd1858 that may be true, but why are Hybe stans only being one sided in the argument. I see so many of you Hybe Stan’s willingly ignore a company’s wrongdoings that have been exposed, and are 100% a thing. Not only do they severely manipulate the Korean media, but have deranged company Stan’s that wanna protect their ceo. You guys don’t even try to hide the at your aren’t impartial.
Especially as someone who grew up with women competing with other women in the family. Her behavior towards the victim of SA that got turned away by her so easily just pissed me off, especially when she started saying hateful things towards feminism which unfortunately a lot of guys nowadays would agree with
@@rosebooysen1693 STV's explaination on the cookie terminology was so accurate especially when he pulled up the pics of uncle bunnies showing up at the NA supporting Hanni
I was so surprised to hear him say the things he said in that video. It’s disappointing to hear, but at the same time like you said, it’s ironic to hear him say very dumb things while calling people who don’t agree with his views, dumb.
@moonlight_antonio and he left comment like cute video 🤣🤣🤣 he couldn't even tell one thing wrong in that video because not it was only me who think like that , most of the comments was like that telling that min is not good person and she is the behind all of it and that delulu said min is creative God bla bla bla she is newjeans , without her newjeans not newjeans like bro if that 5 member can't do anything without min ,isn't that mean that 5 girl are useless?
@Xiwang希望 They never realize the absolute insult it is to New Jeans for their fans to say they're nothing without Min. What's worse is that New Jeans believe it, as well. 😔
1. As a female, I can assure you that SeoulitTV is 💯 correct. I saw that before he even made the video. I was like they must be selling something other than music because there's no way this was broadcasted as a legit issue. All she said was some rando manager ignored her once. And that's all she's whined about. How ridiculous. 2. GG stans think anything that has a male or BG in it is misogyny. I don't think they even know what that means. 3. Companies have to make profit, that doesn't make them evil. Every complaint they have on HYBE is easily dispoven or just false conspiracies and accusations someone started on social media. 4. The only issue HYBE has is NewJeans. Not the other way around. Its scary how NJ fans have adopted the same manipulative malicious personalities as NJs and MHJ. I actually think its concerning and they have a legit mental illness.
I'm not watching Nathan's videos but I wanna ask: apparently he claimed ADOR sued NJ, when the lawsuit was specifically to uphold their contract with NJ. In other words, they did not sue NJ for damages for breaking the contract, but to uphold the contract so that they will go back to work with ADOR. Did Nathan issue a correction on that yet?
Is that Nathan guy really that stupid, or is he just trying to cash in on the bunnies by taking their side? He basically just repeated all their illogical nonsense. I have never seen such a strange phenomena of mass cognitive dissonance as in the case of the bunnies.
He's trying to cash in. His channel has been stagnant for some years now. He also hates on other content creators. There is an African American K-pop content creator who just does reactions. This creator has over a million followers and Nathan started hating on him when his channel exploded. I clocked him envious of others some time ago
@@AA-ed6ek of course it's okay. but it's one thing to disagree with respect and another to just ride on a hate narrative for your own benefit. that guy doesn't even get his facts straight. a previous commenter mentioned him claiming ador sued nj when everyone who's following the whole situation knows the lawsuit was a warning against industry poachers, not damage claim.
A lot of actual attorneys try to explain what NJs is doing wrong and bunnies won't listen cause they're 'not a Korean attorney'. Korean attorneys come and explain what NJs is doing wrong and they're 'paid by Hybe'. They're the most delulu fandom I've ever seen. If NJs has to go back to Ador (which is likely), I don't think the bunnies will go with them.
i came across one and he, too, gave his inputs on the legal issue. despite being of sk nationality, a few comments said something like, "hybe paid this guy" blah blah. dismissing his points automatically when he's just being objective.
This resonates deeply with me as someone who has experienced bullying in a workplace setting-by none other than the company owner and her sister. It wasn’t just me; many of us were subjected to their bullying. Whenever we tried to talk about it or when someone defended themselves, our reactions weren’t about laughing or hyping each other up. Instead, we shared the pain and frustration. For me, it caused actual trauma. I felt anger, frustration, helplessness, and an overwhelming sense of fear. I cried countless times and would feel unable to breathe whenever they were near because I was so terrified. When you’ve been abused-especially when it’s recent-it’s nearly impossible to smile, laugh, or downplay what’s happening. This is why Minji and Hanni’s reaction feels so strange to me. I’m equally alarmed and frustrated by how Bunnies, NewJeans, and those Bunny UA-camrs are handling the situation. They’re downplaying the gravity of abuse, and in doing so, they’re invalidating the experiences of true victims. Stop blindly following these people and consider the harm this causes to those who are genuinely suffering. People are calling them out with all of their bs but they retaliate like a child with no substance at all, calling people company stans and whatnot.
@ thank you so much for the support, this is why I get so infuriated with what newjeans and mhj is doing and I feel for actual kpop idols who go through mistreatment being swept under the rug because of their mockery.
After that hearing in National Assembly, the authority investigated and concluded there was NO bullying in Hybe. One politician also accused one Hybe's employee death because of overwork. Later the authority investigated and concluded the accused is wrong. The employee family do not want autopsy because the employee have health issue before joined Hybe
Me: *A Hybe critiquer, a feminist, and someone who majored in Gender and Women’s studies* yeah, no MHJ fucking sucks. The wild thing is feminism and fighting misogyny and sexism does not mean disliking something women do is inherently sexist. Like idk MHJ’s comments about the girls and other girl groups is pretty damn misogynistic. There are plenty of things that are misogynistic things but critiquing MHJ and New Jeans is not one of them. People who say that fundamentally have nothing beyond a preschool understanding what these words mean and how they apply.
@@sidneybutler8007 I think Nathan understands what these words mean, which is why he's purposely trying to weaponize them in his favor or to shield himself from valid criticism. As a feminist, I'm disgusted.
that live they did after hanni spoke at the national assembly was so bad. they came across like the NA was a performance and they were so happy about it. when they were giggling about how she knew the photogs were going to go crazy when she started crying and the sound of the clicking cameras. it was so bad! hardly a traumatized girl.
InternetNathan is a big disappointment because for a long time he was rather credible. He is a poster child of how KPOP CAN ROT YOUR BRAIN. Be careful. Don’t be like him.
Cookies is basically NJ Song cookies song which on multiple occasions mhj used as reference to being legendary And mhj literally wanted to sell the cookies to take ador NJ literally follow the exact path that they learnt at Jezebel university
Jezebel university, is another Seoulite tv saying that I suspect would be considered misogynistic and sexist by Nathan and his camp, but I think that term is accurate. Jezebel University, that’s where they learned it all lol It’s amazing how so many things that weren’t sexist and misogynistic back in the day, are now all of a sudden magically sexist, and misogynistic in 2024… I’ve always found that fascinating. The more sensitive society becomes, the less ourselves we are “allowed” to be. I guess we’re all supposed to be robots with no personality, no tongue and cheek statements, and no sarcasm or sass. It’s so stupid how sensitive society has become.
He's the one that is "obsessed" with MHJ. From her first presscon internetsnathan gave his biased opinion that without MHJs creative ideas, HYBE won't be able to create music with substance. Which is so funny bcos BigHit became HYBE prior to MHJ joining. So is he saying that the other groups within HYBE is not good? Just these shows how biased he is against HYBE. He is clearly gaslighting the viewers and saying they dumb, hater and hybe stan bcos he just plainly hates HYBE. NJ flagship group? BTS and SVT is not flagship for him? GFriend is far more better than NJ in so many ways. Even in attitude, Gfriend never told the public the inside story of their abrupt disbandment but im guessing it has something to do with MHJ stealing NJ from Source causing them loss. InternetsNathan is adult enough to know MHJs criminal acts and he knows that contracts can't be unilaterally terminated. He's just siding with it bcos he's to prideful to admit and retract his words. This is the beginning of his channels downfall. Unfollow, dislike and unsubscribe to this channel.. Calling out to ARMY and other HYBE fandoms.
i've heard about his channel years back when he did "what happened to XX group" content series then out of nowhere he got mentioned as one of some mhj stan channels. clickbait titles made me block him from my algorithm. yes, be it kpop fans or the curious gp we have to be wise or else we'll get swayed easily.
I have lost so much respect for InternetNathan over the past 6 months. I unsubscribe from those top K-commentary channels because they just fueling the hate trains, clearly they are in their feelings over this situation because they think NJ can't do anything wrong or MHJ Shaman work really got them in a choke hold like friends would say. The fact that many of us tried to reason with delusion by presenting the facts and then get called delusional is crazy to me. I watched Seoulite TV, he likes to keep spicy to keep our interest while adding his opinions and experience working in SK Asian Entertainment is very balanced and thoughtful since she works in the media industry so she knows how to go about tackling topics. As some who works where corporate politics meets the civilian the only way to get rid of exploitation in the many different sectors of society is all linked to Capitalism which I had to come terms with but that's the only way to stop neglect and exploitation especially in the music/media Industry is remove the capital aspects which is easy said than done.
If you watch Hanni at the national assembly and how she interacted with the men there you'll understand his cookie terminology how subtle they showcase it which was confirmed in their phoning live with Hanni and minji

12:41 I'm still appalled by the stream they did after the National Assembly like why were they being so nonchalant about it and poking fun at the many photos of Hanni crying. Their laidback reaction to the hearing just undermined any severity of their situation that the girls want us to believe. Minji: Aw, I love the video that you sent me. That was very cute. Like why are you coddling her ?? Even without the livestream the National Assembly appearance left a sour taste in my mouth knowing that there were recent incidents of workplace deaths being investigated on the same day as the "ignore her" hearing

Did you ever recount a story that was a bit embarrassing and laughed awkwardly about it? It's OBVIOUS that's all it was but haters gonna hate. People can watch for themselves.
i am a female who is a csa survivor; to be called a misogynist for questioning the grooming and predatory behavior of MHJ is a huge slap in the face from these so called intellectual stans. it feels good seeing a channel touch on the fact that people criticizing this mess are NOT hybe stans. its literal projection at this point since they themselves blindly follow artists and companies, until it rubs them the wrong way. i hadnt watched Nathan's videos in a long time and that video shocked me quite a bit. it was like if someone compiled a bunch of bunnies tweets and just put them in video form. no, it is not misogyny to refuse blindly supporting females, especially if the adult one in question has a long history of misconduct.
Huge applause to you for this video calling him out with so much detail and thoughtful analysis. Their defense is always HYBE Stans or misogyny and sexism. Nothing valid nor can they accept that both sides HYBE/bang pd and MHJ/NJ can be wrong. It’s either all wrong or all right and that’s just not it, both are wrong. If he was trying to protect women, he wouldn’t have bad mouthed Le Sserafim and Illit to defend new jeans and MHJ but that’s what he did just like every other toxic fan. He isn’t protecting females except for 6 and doing it wrong. Using his platform to disrespect viewers who disagree with him. We will let the courts make the final calls and karma do its work
From the beginning, MHJ took a center role in everything involving NJ. You cannot take about one NJ without MHJ. The 'mother role' MHJ calls herself is pretty odd in my personal opinion because she seems to have a lack of boundaries. A person I know tried to explain MHJ's weird fixation with 'sexual awakening', saying that MHJ was probably exploring her own trauma (we honestly should not be talking about people we don't even know having trauma or not) and, first we don't know that, and second, are you really ok with her using 5 young girls as proxies for her own hypothetical trauma???? That possibility makes it even worse.
the fact that he is saying this while actively supporting someone who contributed to Loonas abuse is so ironic. if you dont know jaden jeong forced chuu, yves, hyeju and gowon to diet so extremely they had to sneak in food or eat staffs LEFTOVERS. in a video about what happened to Loona he literally spends the entire video and talks about jaden jeong the entire time. He also referred to Jaden as God which is so weird to me.
@@hrtsforliz exactly, many artms stans are like "see they liked Jaden" as if that excuses what he did. Like people can change, but don't lie about what happened to make someone look good.
HYBE BOY was a big NJ fan. I have to keep remembering that when I comment on his videos... I know he's over them, but I don't want to offend him for having liked them and their music. I don't follow girl groups. Their music all sounds the pretty much the same to me. Their choreos don't impress me, and they all basically look the same too. Ever since GLAM, I think that gg are pretty much trouble... or should I say, the groups that have had big issues, (not talking about being abused by their companies here), are pretty much all girl groups.

he mentioned getting negative comments but more on like he's smooching up to hybe coz of his style of content. well he's a hybe investor so ofc he would report on those things with credible resources. i don't think he'd get labelled as those since he doesn't go deep on his opinions. and yeah, he used to be a fan of those girls so he wouldn't suddenly become an anti.
I had a realization recently that while it is not a 1:1 comparison, K-Pop agencies share a lot of similarities with cults. Cults target people who are at their most vulnerable, make them grandiose promises, get them financially invested, regulate their basic needs like sleep and food, alternate between extreme discipline which is basically just abuse and love-bombing, and cut them off from people outside the cult. We've seen K-Pop companies do the same things: they pretty much exclusively take on very young people as trainees, put them on extreme diets, make them work incredibly long days, dictate who they can and can't spend time with (like with dating bans, seperating male and female trainees, and even in some cases, taking away their phones), will ridicule trainees in front of their peers if they don't do something perfectly, and will ask a trainee to pay a hefty reimbursement fee if they leave. I'm not saying these agencies are cults or that they are consciously trying to run their trainee programs like a cult, but the result is similar, and there is a reason why this kind of treatment of trainees has been an industry standard. It's because it works for them. While things may have not been as bad in ADOR (I heard long before the current drama that MHJ budgeted training as R&D, so none of NJ had no training debt, which I think is admirable). I also understand that there is a potential misogynistic reading of calling a woman manipulative, but to say that MHJ is not capable of manipulating people seems a little strange to me because the whole K-Pop industry, which she has been a part of for years, and in some very high positions, is run on manipulation.
MHJ took the gals from Source Music. Source Music trained those gals and were ready to debut with the song Attention. Source took the hit for the training costs. Absorbing training costs as R&D... BSH did this before MHJ. Besides where do you think the $$$ came from to cover the initial cost of training/R&D?
Didn't those company people tried so hard to getting its downfall by public opinions also have tons of employees? Didn't those employees also have families they had to support at home? Didn't all of them also had the rights to see something related to their wellbeing treated fairly according to legitimates laws rather than chaotic public opinions?🙄
Internet Nathan called Kpop fans as dumb yet he is the one who made a video with misinformation & totally biased. Supporting MHJ & NJ actions &Ignoring the facts is dumb.
Also the fact that so many people do NOT understand narcissistic abuse and it shows. Anyone who’s survived a narcissist and got out on the other end, can clock this behavior from a mile away. It’s so laughably textbook, as is the arguments of enablers. But also this fact is true for people who critique MHJ too and how they talk about the girls. When a victim of narcissistic abuse causes harm while under their thrall, it comes with moral complexities. But I do feel like there is more nuance coming from the people who critique them than those who defend them.
I bet nj will leave the 16th floor of hype and still fight for the 16th floor when another group shows up and they'll still blame hype for mistreatment like you left yourselves
Yes, I’m a hater. Specifically, I’m an MHJ hater. Full-time, no breaks. But let’s be clear I’m not hating on the NJ girls themselves. I want the best for them. And yes, I also hate HYBE. You can hate both. It’s really not that hard. I hate any corporation thriving on capitalism, but let’s use our brains for a second. This whole “HYBE is sabotaging them” theory doesn’t even make sense. If HYBE is all about money (which ofc they are), why would they intentionally destroy something they’ve spent millions investing in? That’s not how greed works. If you’re making claims like that, at least come with some receipts. Saying “the manager saying ignore her isn’t bullying” doesn’t equal “HYBE is perfect.” It’s exhausting how every argument gets straw-manned to death 🙃 The majority of people calling MHJ out are women. Pointing out that she’s manipulative isn’t misogyny, it’s observation. If MHJ were a man, nobody would defend her. Imagine a man having naked pictures of young girls on his studio wall, working closely with teenage girls, calling them, having them cry on the phone to him, saying they love him? Everyone would call it what it is: an inappropriate relationship. No man in that position would still have a career! But because she’s a woman, she gets a free pass. Modern feminism is about accountability, regardless of gender. If someone’s being shady, we call it out; man or woman. Equal opportunity cancellation.
@@addy8078 I agree, but i disagree with if mhj is man, in Kpop many mans sexualisy this minor idols to be in their concept and no one actually takes the time to care, i hate Mhj with all my life but at the same time the big fail of the people that are calling out Mhj are unawere that she is like every Ceo in kpop, Newjeans where groomed and manipulated by her to the core but lets remember that Hybe wanted her in the workplace after all. And for the sabotage of Newjeans, i been in kpop for almos five years and even when a group is succesfull a company can ruin everything just because a personal feeling and Hybe is a very fragile company, i love how everyone is comming to Mhj, thats a progress but never forget, dont trust all that Hybe says and dont trust all that Mhj and Newjeans say
I don't agree with how you used "woke" to describe him. He's doing what many other male gg stans have done. Overcompensate for their own misogyny by white knighting for women who either A. Don't need it and/or B. Don't deserve it. He displayed no higher understanding of the effects of being a marginalized individual in the music industry. Its very surface level and shallow. Not woke at all and about as deep as a puddle
@Molly-iw1rc bigots cherry picked instances of leftist either having a bad take or justing overall being annoying and people who use social justice topics to bully people they don't like and described being woke as that. Nonbigots, who are uninvolved with politics, usually gravitate more to the bigots definition of wokeness bc its easier to understand for the average person. Meanwhile, the actual definition requires some introspection and for you to basically question EVERYTHING you've been taught up till now.
I appreciate the balanced view of this video. It explains the bewildering IntenetN strange video. If IN is not on someone's payola then his views show his complete lack of credibility and to some degree irrelevance.
I tried to approach this MHJ, NJ & HYBE situation as objective as I could because of how complex it is. It really is disappointing to hear him say the things he said in that video.
BSH literally admired her work and how she's able to create successful groups like SHINee, and red velvet cause Bighit had a failed girl group before BTS but yeah he's stupid not entirely cause he moved her source music and made his main company private
True. But BSH is not who the most trust to MHJ. It is ex. Hybe CEO, Park Jiwon. Park Jiwon who hired MHJ as branding director but BSH disagree. After the first injunction court, Park Jiwon replaced by ex. Big Hit senior employee. Did you read Dispatch article about how MHJ did lobbying?
International netizens supporting the females in this saga, trying to push the narrative, but have no idea how South Korean business, the entertainment industry, and South Korean contracts work... not to mention South Korean culture, are just totally laughable. You cannot compare anything in the West with anything in the East. Thousands of trainees have signed the same contracts since the 90s, many of them being much younger than NJ at the time - barely teenagers Un fact, but apart from a handful of genuinely abused idols - usually from smaller companies, how many have acted like these entitled brats? No, Hanni was not right to go to the National Assembly, nor were Bunnies right to demand that the NA waste time and public money on this case, when serious issues that needed to be investigated, were set aside for this farce. Hanni is NOT an employee, but MHJ was able to manipulate the stupid men to support her - CEOs, reporters, and law makers... the list goes on, in order to push her point. That dumb old lawmaker at the National Assembly showed his blatant bias towards Hanni, NJ, and MHJ - his laptop was just a plain old laptop... until the Hanni 'case', then his laptop was suddenly plastered with NJ stickers - you can see it during the hesring. MHJ admitted that she was happy to use her 'feminine wiles' to get her way, and Hanni also did the same at the NA. South Korea is by culture, a vastly misogynistic country, and whilst the West may not like it, it is what it is, and girl groups often have proactive choreography and skimpy, or quite revealing outfits. It's why so many men stan girl groups in the first place... Western male supporters too. It's also blatantly obvious that this Nathan bloke is obsessed with MHJ and NJ. Can companies improve conditions for their artists? Absolutely - artists' health, both physical and mental, and their safety, from sasaengs, general toxicity, defamation, online bullying, etc., should definitely be a priority. And I hope that they add increased security and obviously now, CCTV cameras with audio should be absolutely everywhere on company premises. I have always trusted Big Hit Ent, Big Hit Music, and Bang PD... from day one. They do value their artists and prioritise their health and safety... and they were the first company to encourage fans to let them know when their artists are being bullied, defamed, etc. They have introduced a zero tolerance policy, and have a dedicated team of investigators and lawyers tracing these toxic netizens. Have they made mistakes? Yep, but they try to learn from them. Am I a HYBE Stan? I don't think so, but of all the big companies, I trust them the most, though I haven't always agreed with things that the US side has done, but then, they're a business and I don't necessarily understand all of their business decisions. What NJ is doing is disrespectful, in a country where everything is about respect. 'CEO' Bang was disrespectful to Hanni for ignoring her greeting? Where the hell was her respect? Firstly, he isn't CEO of HYBE, and hasn't been for ages, so how did she not know this? Secondly, BTS and TXT have stories of Band PD not recognising their members at times, and who could blame him when idols change their hair and fashion every 2 seconds? Why the hell should he be expected to recognise every artist who may be wandering around the HYBE building? Like many Asian countries, it's normal for employees and contracted workers to bow and greet senior staff and executives, but they never expect those people to stop and greet them back - it's simpky, bow greet, move on. I just find it so amusing that everything MHJ, NJ, and their parents have accused ADOR and HYBE of doing, they are the ones guilty of it themselves. The girls' contracts would have been dissected word by word by the parents and their legal representatives, and explained to the girls in full, before they were allowed to sign. Their contracts are legally binding documents, containing terms and conditions to protect both parties who enter the agreement. You can't just suddenly decide to unilaterally to terminate it... only the courts can decide that... but with every new thing these dumb girls come up with, they're simply providing more and more evidence for the court to hold against them. ADOR/HYBE have not sued the girls for breach of contract, but have simply requested that the court rule on whether or not their contracts are still valid. These immature children, (and that's an insult towards actual children, who no doubt have way more sense), all seem to have a God complex, (wonder where they get that from? Mmmm?), trying to convince people that they're martyrs, sacrificing themselves to help other idols. No they're not, and chances are, their little shenanigans are only going to hurt future generations of idols, with tighter contracts, and with stronger penalties. I'd just like to describe a certain personality type - the extreme narcissist. The type of narcissist who tries to control situations for their own gain, and makes plans in great detail, often spending years making sure that every minute detail has been covered. The type of narcissist who believes that only their way is the correct way, and will do everything in their power to make it happen. They will not only have one plan, but multiple back up plans. They will never admit to their wrongdoing, even if caught, placing all blame on others, especially their opponents. They must control every aspect of the narrative, and can quickly have answers ready, when questioned. They are able to talk for hours, and are extremely skilled in turning negative opinions into positive ones, in their favour of course. Just like a hypnotist who knows which people can be hypnotised, an extreme narcissist can manipulate people to do their bidding, or rally the troups to their side. They are often very personable, and charismatic, using their charms to entice people. We all have a little narcississm within us, and that's not a bad thing, but extreme narcissists are dangerous, and often not recognised... until it's too late. They are the ones who often become cult leaders, s3rial kill3r5, or dictators. They can talk you into submission, use s3x to control you, and brainwash you into believing grass is not green, but sky-blue pink, to the point that you'll argue with anyone who tries to tell you otherwise. Unfortunately, by that point, it'll be too late. Not accusing anyone of anything. Just defining a particular type of personality. As for companies being money making machines. Yes, they're businesses. They don't spend billion of KRW on a bunch of kids, only to have them sing a few songs, etc, just for fun. There are some companies who obvious are overworking their artists, BE:LIFT for example who seem to be trying to squeeze every ounce of profit out of ENHYPEN, and yes, even BIG HIT MUSIC with TXT. ENGENES have been begging BE:LIFT to let ENHYPEN rest fir months, but they refuse to listen. At least TXT will be having a break, but MOAS are still not happy, as BHM is releasing TXT'S 2025 schedule, claiming that 6 or however many week's break the members are getting isn't enough. It may not seem like a long break to many fans, but when you work in a country where an 8 hour work day is not heard of, for anyone, then it is a long time. Could it be longer? Yes, and this is another area where companies must improve, but you can't flog a dead horse, and neither can you make long-term profit if your artists are in a constant state of exhaustion. Yes, they must provide artists with better schedules and breaks, but at the end of the day, they are a business, and businesses are in it for the money. If they don't make money, they can't improve conditions, provide training, promotions, tours, and everything else their artists need... and keep the shareholders happy too. Again, this is Korean business, not Western business. You cannot compare the two - it's like comparing apples and lollipops. ...And it's why JYPE US vs KG case cannot and must not be compared to the South Korean model... And why, in the long run Western trainees with never be able to fit in with the South Korean model. Western kids don't have the work ethic that South Korean and Asian kids in general have. They see the fame and the money, but don't want to put in the hard yards in order to get them. Western kids wouldn't happily volunteer to leave home, their family and friends, to live in a tiny dorm with a bunch of other jids, not only to train, but to cook, clean, etc, for themselves, as well as go to school or hold diwn part-time jobs for a little pocket money. NJ remind me very much of Western kids, with their entitled attitudes. It's all well and good to criticise companies, and yes, it's definitely okay to have opinions, but unless you know all the details, you cannot say tgat X ir y is right or wrong without all the facts, and without understanding the cultural differences. I can denounce the US for it's gun laws. I can give my opinion and say that other countries don't allow guns and they don't have mass shootings. I can say that US laws must be changed, etc., etc., and that's fine... and I can expect that many people may agree with me, but chances are, millions of people will disagree with me. It works both ways. I may not agree with you and your laws, but I don't actually have any right to demand anything. I'm sure that going forward, we'll see better conditions being implemented in the entertainment industry, but by the same token, contracts will become stricter, maybe more complicated, and more water tight... for both parties.
InternetNathan wants the attention to speak about his narrative and then will cause arguments by riling up the fans and other people, it's a lot like what MHJ does. The irony of it all.
That’s probably true. I do think he wants the attention for sure. The more people talk about it, the more people who haven’t seen the video will click and watch the whole video. Ergo, the more views his video will get.
seoulite tv joked about newjeans unaliving. On twitter their was a post about the to hang shirts in a wardrobe and he replied "hang newjeans next." He is a disgusting creepy misogynist and i think you need to spend less time on the internet if it causes you to be so coldhearted.
HYBE has done wrong, especially at the beginning when they tried to play MHJ's game (media play) and looked horrible. But nothing compares to MHJ, I seriously dislike her. As for NJ, they were the only other group aside from BTS I bought an album from, I still hold a small amount of hope they will see the light. But that diminishes with every action they take. NJ does not want independence they want to be dependent on MHJ.
every body I mean every body if u just set ur biases and precinditioned whatever aside, just go listen and watch in complete video not any cut or edited ones fr SOULITETV just once I assure u he is not sexist or misogynist or whatever phobic and ist these people call him, he is really informative and quite logical and very entertaining and very sassy, seriously
Insulting the intelligence of fans by telling them that they should support Min Heejin and New Jeans on the sole basis of their gender and not their actions is sickening and shallow. These fans and ktubers who are criticizing New Jeans and even express their distaste have a valid reason to do so and they are able to back it up with facts. Bunnies like Nathan cannot come up with a valid argument and instead resort to name calling and spread misleading information. Anyways nice video, sometimes I don't know how you guys keep your cool calling out bunnies 😂.
@@moonlight_antonio i get what you believe it to be but that's still not its definition and only contributes to misusing and rewriting that word's original context
Listen, I don’t wish to have an argument with you on this, I know what woke is supposed to be, but the woke of today is not the same thing, so it is not a misuse in my view.
I’ve already made an hour and 25 minute long video on what is woke, so if you agree, that’s fine, if you disagreed, that’s also fine. I won’t tell you how to define woke. I can only speak for myself, and what I have seen in society today.
Ironic from that nathan to labelling those calling out Mhj and NJs as Hybe stans when he's the one putting a NJS and Bunny's stickers on his mic... He lost all crredibility with those stickers.
This is off topic but can you make a video on manufactured scandals, like what happened with Yoongi, Seunghan, Woojin, etc. And this whole MHJ thing is also part of it.
They’re really delulu to think Mhj cares about Nj 😂, she only cares about the money, and if she was given a chance to take over ADOR, she would drain the most out of Nj as well. She’s a businesswomen to start off with, not a non profit sponsor 😂😂😂
I always like to look at both sides of an argument so I unfortunately watched that video. It’s rage bait. I have yet to see one video supporting MHJ or NJ actions in this situation that isn’t snarky and clearly rage bait. They’re getting the clicks they wanted.
Nathen generalized all K-pop Fans as dumb is very condescending to say the least Min Hee Jin NewJeans Ador and HYBE are equally responsible for all of the issues being going within their respective companies. These kinds of situations and issues has been going on for years within other entertainment companies as well with regards to treatment and managing their artists and groups with busy and extremely hectic schedules
@@rosebooysen1693 True. 🤣🤣🤣
Sorry I am late to watching the video I am busy with exams. I stopped watching internet Nathan when I noticed he did this whenever a female idol got into a scandal, as a woman I am all for supporting women and morally, I always believe in keeping an open mind until you get enough of the picture to make an educated opinion. But blindly supporting women even when we we are wrong and using defense tactics like calling people misogynist because they think a woman has done nothing wrong is the misogynist thing in my opinion, because one of the things misogyny is treating women differently from men so treating us like we can do no wrong and blindly defending us is misogynistic(my opinion).
I will say this as someone who absolutely believes MHJ is manipulating them and that they are making poor choices themselves and that the ignore them thing is weird. I never got sus vibes from the “that’s my girl” comment. I feel like out of all things that’s the one thing about this that’s blown out of proportion. Do I think NJ’s engage in manipulative tactics whether knowingly or unknowingly? Sure. But I don’t think there’s enough to tell what type of dynamic it is. If MHJ is praying on their legitimate emotions, or forcing them to be actively scheming with her. Are they being fooled or not. This does not absolve them from the harm they cause but it does make me skeptical to overexamine their emotions. I am cautious about the potential to villainize intent because it’s convient to the point I want to make which is that Hanni going to the assembly served MHJ in a manipulative way. But it is not clear that those weren’t her true feelings. And if these girls are being genuinely blindly following MHJ and are her victims as well, I know scrutinizing their every action makes it *harder* for them come to their senses and to break free. I saw Minji as potentially being proud that Hanni was vulnerable enough to cry and saying that’s my girl for still doing it. Am I 100% sure that’s it? No. But the fact I can see reasonable doubt and know how precarious of a situation it is to be a victim of narcissistic abuse that MHJ has on those girls I personally don’t feel that it’s worth it to make the assumption. There’s enough evidence elsewhere than harping on that.
Ok, I don't think when someone is saying he's Xcompany stan means he's a company stan. I say I'm YShit wh@re all the time. It doesn't mean I actually like YShit, it means I like most of their groups. I say I'm xcompany stan to make it easier to point my taste in music.
as soon as he said that le sserafim and illit are "flopping" i just stoped watching his vid i generally watch bouth sides in this but that was just lv100 delulu
I agree with everything else (MHJ + NJ and their stans are getting too toxic for me to be calm anymore) but, it would be better if you don't stoop on Nathan's level by misusing political terms like woke as an insult. Being woke is not bs. Woke means being aware of injustice against minorites due to their race, religion, colour etc. It doesn't denote "liberals who misuse those words and are sensitive about everything". That is the alt-right definition of woke. At least, you should use political terms with their original meaning if you want to argue why Nathan is wrong to call others misogynist. Edit:- Hmm, just saw another reply of yours regarding this. There's no subjective opinion/belief on what kind of definition should be considered for 'woke'. Diluting original meaning behind important terms and using it as an insult is how misinformation and hatred spread by those who want to change the narrative, just like how Nathan is doing. Unfortunately, this video leaves a bad taste in my mouth for me. Anyways, the silver lining is MHJ and NJ are still wrong and I don't need to be anti-woke/woke to see Nathan's lies (or anyone lies in general).
Part of the problem in discourse in general, though I don’t think this applies to MHJ but DOES apply to the girls is that people are not comfortable with saying: there’s room for doubt. It has to be definitive one way or another. And if you have nuance you’re supporting the other side. While MHJ’s actions are entirely deliberate I tend to focus more on impact than the motives and intent in NJ’s behavior. Because for me I can see it going many ways. And know that from the outside we will *never* know what is going on behind closed doors with them and MHJ. We don’t know if they’re intentionally playing the mean girl role, we don’t know if they’re being subjected to cycles of love bombing and abuse (common for narcissistic abuse victims), we don’t know if they’re intentionally playing genuinely believe that’s happening, we don’t know if MHJ is feeding them lies and that they *genuinely* believe these things are worse than they are. But we do know, MHJ’s legal track record, the things she’s said in private chats, the investigations and her past history. Do I think it’s possible that NJ has malicious intent and are doing things on purpose? Sure. But I also know that from the outside of a situation with a narcissist it is only clear what the story was *after* the person in question gets out from under their thumb. And we have to be okay with that uncertainty without trying to force it into one category. But we *can* hold NJ accountable for their *impact* because good intentions or lack of malicious intent or even being genuinely manipulated does *not* let you off the hook from consequences if you cause harm to other people. The impact on other Hybe GG is real. The impact on the industry is real. And the way they are acting like they have no clue how the law works, is real. That alone is enough to make any case.
He said take MHJ out of it i clicked off. I choose to angry myself when i know someone is going to dumb and make dumb claims. Engaging in stupidity is not it. So i just unsubscribed🤷🏻
What was it that MHJ said about The bunnies? Brainless?? As for Soulite, he used ‘cookies’, because he’s poking at MHJ for creating a dirty, inappropriate song called ‘cookie’! It has nothing to do with misogyny! What’s ironic is this ‘internet Nathan’ is supporting a ‘misogynistic woman’!!!

No also doesn’t care about their own careers or their fans. Only MHJ. And sorry Nathan nj don’t care about you either . Many artists don’t care about their fans either
I don't believe HYBE overworked BTS and TXT, sometimes those guys do this to themselves even though they know they should take a break. Not all the blame can be on the companies. The idols themselves need to take a break but some don't want to. And I saw how the company treated Le Sserafim and told them not to overwork when they were sick but those girls still tried to work even when very sick. They had to cancel a concert in another country.
The thing about NJ being trail blazers tells me people are really naive about how these companies operate. They care about making money and protecting the money of their investors. What's going to end up happening is that contracts are going to become more and more ironclad and very precise with their language, so that idols can't interpret anything they don't like as a contract breach. It's going to make it so much harder for idols to get out of abusive situations, not easier.
Hybe Boy, Roses Crib, Moonlight Antonio, Soulite Tv, Lawyer in Seoul, xiwang and Haniverse are the only people I trust to report this drama for what it is and not sugar coat it. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

They're not like 30yr old women
Oh, the nuance in this critique is simply breathtaking. MHJ’s mentorship has apparently been so effective that Hanni is a carbon copy of her, while Minji is reduced to nothing more than a devoted lapdog? Bold claim. And let’s not overlook the "revolutionary" leadership style being crowned as the worst in K-pop, a feat, given the competition. The rest of the group? Merely brats and followers, apparently, basking in the glow of perpetual victimhood. The drama fatigue is real, especially when the grievances boil down to... not being greeted properly. 😂 Groundbreaking. Compared to genuinely horrific stories of abuse in the industry, this does feel like someone turned the melodrama dial up to eleven for the sake of a headline. But hey, who needs to stay likable when you can ride the wave of performative victimhood, right? It’s exhausting, really, poor you for sticking it out this long.
And not to mention the “additional evidence” that we never got, and probably never will get it, because it doesn’t exist. It is really exhausting and I don’t see how people can have the temperament to continue talking about it. Shoot! I don’t know how I’ve done it this long lol. It’s rough seriously 😳
I'm a 46 y.o. woman who has seen enough nonsense to be unabashed about calling out b.s. Seoullite says all the things I'm thinking. He's explained pretty well why the whole cookies thing has always been a euphemism (not some b.s. about it being a metaphor for music) and how it plays exactly into how MHJ operates and her strategy with NJ. I find it hilarious how he uses it because it is exactly how MHJ intends it to be used. Again, you can't b.s. me -- I've seen and dealt with enough female nonsense (and male, too, so don't get it twisted) to know that the cookies are being used exactly how MHJ always intended.
I can’t help but to like this comment 😂 I agree, I’ve seen the whole video where that Seoulite TV clip came from. Nathan took that clip and used it out of context. I’m not sure if he actually believes that it was misogynistic, or if he was just being dishonest when he used that clip, but either way he was wrong. And I think looking back, I shouldn’t have given Nathan the benefit of the doubt on that point. I honestly don’t believe the way Seoulite used the cookie reference was sexist, though me personally, I wouldn’t use it excessively so as to avoid this kind of misunderstanding, or in this case, people misusing my cookie reference against me to call me something I’m not. Looking at Nathan‘s comment section, both he and his viewers, have this weird obsession with Seoulite TV, and I think they’re trying to push this sexist, misogynist narrative onto him. I saw some comments calling him a gay uncle, who hates women and stuff like that, which is very toxic on their part.
With seoulite tv I genuinely think that man doesn't know the meaning behind cookie 😭😭 I think he thinks the song cookie is talking about actual cookies Also im 20 years old , new jeans are right , just because we are young doesnt mean ignorant , i know what i be doing , alot of people even my family act towards me the way public act towards new jeans" oh they're young they dont know what there doing " , mhj is a talented weirdo 💀💀 the relationship she has with new jeans is weirdly and oddly close and uncomfortable , i have mentors who im close with and they think of me like an daughter too , heck one of them became my god mother , but they dont act like mhj , from my stand point i dont think they're being manipulated into doing anything , well atleast on hanni end idk about the others , but both hybe and ador suck , they are both adults who are money hungry , from the new ceo perspective i think she is genuinely doing her job and she is actively trying to work with them , i think they are being stubborn ( i also am a multigroup fan)
The message is clear - if you standup against workplace mistreatment in KPop a huge number of people will shame and belittle you. You all must be so proud of yourselves. Personally I'm disgusted.
This was a good video! Going point for point and not hateful but critical. Which is what I wanted from people that differ from my stance. However with that being said; there is a bit more reading into what you said I said vs what I actually said. Which could have been because I didn't clarify ALL my points. But I can't clarify all my opinions or else I'd be spending my whole time doing that. I would like to assume people viewing my video to be able to think about what I am saying and make a reasonable assessment. In particular what I have a disagreement with is your deduction and focus on the phrase "I am tired of dumb K-pop fans" and the use of the words "misogynism" and "sexism". I know you would probably understand that everyone that disagrees with what Jeanz are doing aren't all dumb, misogynistic, sexist or company stans. Which is what I mean. Providing Sean (SeouliteTV) as an example. To imply and continuously repeating that I am labeling EVERY kpop fan or those who disagree in this certain situation as such terms is kind of bad faith on your end. Additionally, for those who automatically get defensive of these terms or labels then MAYBE there is a reason you are being defensive... I also have to point out that I have not defended MHJ nor have I totally disregarded her past actions. I simply put her aside when making my points because I wanted to help those watching to understand, if possible, that Jeanz can and have make choices on their own. Regardless, I really appreciate your critic! Very well done! Keep it up! And thank you for watching my channel and videos! Hopefully you still can after this 😅
Well, maybe you should be a little more clear next time, instead of making statements that are so one dimensional, that people listen to what you’re saying, with raised eyebrows. And then replying to a comment that you claim is “misogynistic”, but is actually not, which proves my point that it doesn’t really matter what we say, you will view it as misogynistic, even when there’s no misogyny in the comment. So is that really bad faith? It’s not like I pulled that argument out of thin air, their were comments that weren’t sexist, and you called them sexist even though they weren’t. Is it really bad faith on my part when you put up the example of what you’re talking about in one instance, but then, in another instance, you call a non-sexist and misogynistic comment, sexist and misogynistic? And I’m pretty sure I explained very clearly why I, and many other people don’t appreciate being called some thing that we’re not. I don’t quite know what you’re assuming by saying that there’s a reason why we are defensive when being called sexist misogynist, but whatever reason you’re thinking of, it’s not the reason. I stated the reason in the video. I don’t have any internalized ism or phobia, So, since my reason isn’t good enough for you, maybe you can speak to my intentions, and tell me why people (including myself), are defensive about being called sexist and misogynist. Maybe you can see something in us that we can’t see in ourselves and maybe you can bring it to the light. I saw comments that weren’t misogynistic, but you kept saying that there was misogyny in them, and when People asked you, where is the misogyny and sexism in the comment, you didn’t say anything. Do you think they’re just asking rhetorical questions? Even I was wondering where the misogyny and sexism was. So forgive me if I had more questions then answers from simply reading the comment section of your video. Either way, I appreciate you swinging by.

It's so weird that they think HYBE paid every Korean attorney 🤦🏻♀️
I’m sorry you had to go through that! 😕

@@rosebooysen1693 please explain
I got completely disgusted by Nj, Hanni to be specific after the National Assembly. I can’t look at them the same no more
After that hearing in National Assembly, the authority investigated and concluded there was NO bullying in Hybe. One politician also accused one Hybe's employee death because of overwork. Later the authority investigated and concluded the accused is wrong. The employee family do not want autopsy because the employee have health issue before joined Hybe.
Also Minji purposefully replied to a bunnie on phoning who had a username calling the new CEO a "pig"

“People can watch for themselves” on that, we both can agree.
i am a female who is a csa survivor; to be called a misogynist for questioning the grooming and predatory behavior of MHJ is a huge slap in the face from these so called intellectual stans. it feels good seeing a channel touch on the fact that people criticizing this mess are NOT hybe stans. its literal projection at this point since they themselves blindly follow artists and companies, until it rubs them the wrong way. i hadnt watched Nathan's videos in a long time and that video shocked me quite a bit. it was like if someone compiled a bunch of bunnies tweets and just put them in video form. no, it is not misogyny to refuse blindly supporting females, especially if the adult one in question has a long history of misconduct.

That possibility makes it even worse.
the fact that he is saying this while actively supporting someone who contributed to Loonas abuse is so ironic. if you dont know jaden jeong forced chuu, yves, hyeju and gowon to diet so extremely they had to sneak in food or eat staffs LEFTOVERS. in a video about what happened to Loona he literally spends the entire video and talks about jaden jeong the entire time. he mentioned getting negative comments but more on like he's smooching up to hybe coz of his style of content. well he's a hybe investor so ofc he would report on those things with credible resources. i don't think he'd get labelled as those since he doesn't go deep on his opinions. and yeah, he used to be a fan of those girls so he wouldn't suddenly become an anti.
Saying “the manager saying ignore her isn’t bullying” doesn’t equal “HYBE is perfect.” It’s exhausting how every argument gets straw-manned to death 🙃
The majority of people calling MHJ out are women.

Well, woke isn't a good thing, it's toxic. And Moonlight probably meant it to not be a good thing.
@AwakeningWings give me an example of "toxic wokeness"
@Molly-iw1rc bigots cherry picked instances of leftist either having a bad take or justing overall being annoying and people who use social justice topics to bully people they don't like and described being woke as that. Nonbigots, who are uninvolved with politics, usually gravitate more to the bigots definition of wokeness bc its easier to understand for the average person. i have seen some bunnies compare what njs had “gone through” to what loona went through while under bbc…
Have you seen the oufits in the West? 😂 However, I agree with most of what you said.

💯
Yeah as soon as I watched his video I immediately unfollowed his channel Pinoy Ako but I’m so embarrassed he’s one of us.
What was it that MHJ said about
The bunnies?
Hype doing media play
Hype is to young to do that in Korea
Hype is barely under 5yrs old
Alot of media play aswell requires money and favours which hype doesn't have the enough connections to do since hype was dragged since Bighit 2016 era for media play and chart manipulations
Everyone in this situation is doing media play.

MHJ is
And hybe is
So this argument lacks impact

I don't believe HYBE overworked BTS and TXT, sometimes those guys do this to themselves even though they know they should take a break. Not all the blame can be on the companies. The idols themselves need to take a break but some don't want to.
And I saw how the company treated Le Sserafim and told them not to overwork when they were sick but those girls still tried to work even when very sick. They had to cancel a concert in another country.
hybe allowed a manager to hit jungkook. There is a video of it on youtube. The manager was not fired
I went from pitying New Jeans at the start to feeling disappointment even disgust towards them.
That video deserves criticism and is the reason why I unsubscribed. I misjudged his objectivity and logic.
48:37 is a long video. Someone please explain me in short. What he’s upto???

You were too soft calling this guy out actually. He is not wrong he is THEE WRONG along with Angelina
I agree, I was too soft.
Haven't watched but only a minute so far but I just wanted to say, people aren't just criticizing the newjeans girls. They're actually hating on them. Blaming them for everything when no they're young girls and are following what their parents and mhj are doing and saying. They're being manipulated no one should hate on them for that. They're not like 30yr old women
No NJ are jerks and thank u for your reaction. That guy is a clown and that guy puts me off. He made me hate NJ even more with a passion
if you are so hateful towards them then ignore them. Hatred causes wrinkles.
Newjeans are gone get over it
Oh, the nuance in this critique is simply breathtaking.
With seoulite tv I genuinely think that man doesn't know the meaning behind cookie 😭😭 I think he thinks the song cookie is talking about actual cookies
Also im 20 years old , new jeans are right , just because we are young doesnt mean ignorant , i know what i be doing , alot of people even my family act towards me the way public act towards new jeans" oh they're young they dont know what there doing " , mhj is a talented weirdo 💀💀 the relationship she has with new jeans is weirdly and oddly close and uncomfortable , i have mentors who im close with and they think of me like an daughter too , heck one of them became my god mother , but they dont act like mhj , from my stand point i dont think they're being manipulated into doing anything , well atleast on hanni end idk about the others , but both hybe and ador suck , they are both adults who are money hungry , from the new ceo perspective i think she is genuinely doing her job and she is actively trying to work with them , i think they are being stubborn ( i also am a multigroup fan)
Hypocritical video, people are obsessed with MHJ
The message is clear - if you standup against workplace mistreatment in KPop a huge number of people will shame and belittle you.
You all must be so proud of yourselves. Personally I'm disgusted.
Hybe stans are a cult

Nathan is a celeb worshippers and thought celebrities like a GOD. I bet that he loves Amber Heard, Seungri (ex Big Bang) and Taeil (ex NCT).
There is no perfect company in this world but still, Hybe is one of the great companies who always taking care of their employees (better than SM). Paid vacations, paid meals, paid healthcare, etc. And fans need to know that not all Kpop idols are innocent.
are you being paid by hybe? Never worship a company. In the 2010s loads of kpop fans were always praising YG and saying it was the best company but then the burning sun happened.
