I ignored the other wonyoung controversies because I thought people were just overreacting but her asking Liz to switch spots was just so arrogant. It’s getting to hard to defend IVE…
Asking her to change spots, but then going in front of the other girl to change spots just makes it look worse, when she is already being accused of always wanting the spotlight. If she had gone behind her to make the change, it wouldn't have looked as bad. It would've just looked like they were really just changing spots to correct the lineup. With her going in front just adds to the "she's always got to be in front and center" argument.

To be honest, K-pop has proven time and time again that media play can be used in favor of the idols to attract popularity before comebacks. Also, numerous controversies have also been unearthed as being staged to draw more attention to the accused idols. In the case of Minji, she knows she has weaknesses and she is working on them, she is humble and I congratulate her for that. Leeseo and Wonyoung, well ,nothing can be said about the situation other than it has done its job, it already has people talking about them, hence also drawing attention the IVE overall. Most likely Starship wants to milk these girls for what they are worth in the most minimal amount of time possible, hence scandals 'manifest' for them left right and center. Maybe there are attitude problems, who knows, but from what I know, the company is using netizens' tendency of pointing out mistakes rapidly to fuel the reputation of IVE higher, which is sick but it is working. That is my view

I am starting to get wary of Wonyoung, I used to defend her because she reminded me of Jennie and Sulli with the baseless accusations against their character but now I am starting to believe that Wonyoung has some attitude problems. I mean it is obvious she has a center obsession, many centers don't follow the line up when it comes to unofficial photos. I will use Kara as an example, Hara was the visual and one of the most popular members but it was Gyuri who was the center for the group and Gyuri didn't follow the center position when it came to unofficial photos. The same can be said for G-idle, Soyeon is the center and she doesn't follow the rules all the time as well.
Wonyoung entered the industry young and was loved and given a lot of attention all throughout her teen years so I think she has gain a bit of an ego. She needs to learn to be humbled or she will face some repercussions quite soon since people are getting tired of her.
Other idols also start young but they are not arrogant as her, idols like boa taemin gd minzy are perfect example for this
Jennie and Sulli are meant to be centre and protected... Like jennie is perfect in her field unlike wonyoung average in everything... She's just very confident about her visuals and thinks she's the queen... Worthless half eyes open and pouted lips... I'm just so sick of her.. Although I'm dive 😣
Yoona was/is SNSD's center but she doesn't always stay in the center, even in official pictorial or even album covers. even ending pose, she wasn't always placed in the center. furthermore when it's just simple airport appearance. and she's the one who started the term group's center and being labeled as nation's center, one of the most famous idol of all time, and being labeled as nation's daughter in-law too. like, girlie was the IT of the ITS and she didn't get placed in the center all the time 🤷🏻♀️

I don't listen to them a lot or follow them a lot but based on what I saw from their music show & award stages I see no reason why Minji shouldn't be confident in all of her skills. That girl really stands out with her presence. Of course Hanni has very catchy vocals which really draws you in but when it comes to being a complete performer with "That" aura Minji really has it all in her.

A lot of the new kpop artists look disrespectful to me, they don't behave as respectfully to senior artists at award shows.
I would love if for once Wonyoung isn't in the center of every single picture, I LOVE her and Ive but having the center position doesn't mean to be in the centre in every picture , ok yeah sure be in the centre often but not all the time it's literally called a group, their is alot of idols who r the center of the group but we don't see them rushing to stand in the middle of the line up, also maybe the company makes her stad in the centre every time so we don't really know.

I just don't like when fans cant except their fav idols mistakes or real personalities and so they make excuses for them. If an idol has done something truly wrong u should hold them accountable for their actions, not bash, hate or disrespect them.
