- What's so special about Laduree Paris in 2023 (is it more than macarons?)? Have you ever heard of the famous French patissier Laduree? Their macarons are known as one of the best in the world. But did you know the original Laduree Paris shop is accessible for everyone and that they have a lot more amazing food than just macarons? I’ve learned from my parents that luxury can be for any budget, especially in 2023. You can live very humble but once in a while splurge on luxury if it really is something that will make you happy. Laduree Paris is one of these splurges for me and surprisingly it’s actually very affordable.
Let me introduce you to one of my favorite food experiences in Paris which you absolutely shouldn’t miss the next time you’re visiting this beautiful city in 2023.

Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.

Yes, luxury is for everyone !
I had tasted macarons also in London and in Dubai.
They were quite costly there.
Both places started with 3 euro a piece, amazing.
Some were with goldleaf 😂

I remember the first time trying laduree (the one on 16 Rue Royale) in Paris....it was the best thing ever. I got the fancy box with the 6 macarons for €17,00. Had i’ve know about this specific location in the video I would’ve definitely came here instead and paid the difference 😋

Very luxurious indeed. I guess we would need to get to Paris first and hopefully on a budget airline. 🤦🏻♀️ . I joke...we happen to have a branch of Laduree in downtown Vancouver, Canada. I haven't been yet. I would rather go Paris though for a macaron.

@@Valerie-gn1rr Haha everybody has a different tolerance to sugar. Don't act so bougie. I've tasted all their products and like I said, I think their macarons are the only ones worth it and even some of the macarons are not my cup of tea for tending to be on the sweeter side. Their cakes were too sweet for my taste and that is seriously my pet peeve. Now that's me being honest without trying to suck up to high end brands for their price. Unlike some people, I don't have to pretend that I like something just because they think they have a refined taste. If it sucks, it sucks. Boo that, freak.
