In this video, Art Suwansang, BenQ Ambassador and Technology Geek will show you what is the best cable to hook up your BenQ SW display with USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 3), this includes the SW270C, SW321C, and SW271. If you have any of these 3 models or any future SW models with USB Type - C this is the video to watch. This video will demonstrate how to hook these displays up to a newer Mac with USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 3). Super easy, 1 cable only, hence the 1 gesture in my thumbnail. This will work for the SW270C and SW321C because these display have 60 watts Power Delivery (PD). The SW271 you will still need to hook up a power adapter to your laptop.

If you have a Mac without USB Type - C (Thunderbolt 3), at the moment and plan to upgrade to a newer Mac with USB Type - C in the near future then I would recommend getting the newer BenQ SW models with USB Type - C, i.e. SW270C or SW321C.
NOTE: these BenQ models does not detect display signal automatically (Auto Detect) so when you hook up the display and power it on for the first time you need to choose a source. Do this by pressing on the second button from the left. From there a menu with symbols will chose up, choose the corresponding source that you are using and then you are set.
