I think it is wonderful that Jack and Sarah get some mother and son time together and Derik and Sunny get some father and daughter time together. 💗 I know that you would much rather all be going to Hawaii as a family but the fact that Derik is putting his recovery first is going to payoff in the long run. Derik, you will have many future opportunities to travel again once you are fully healed. I wish you all of the best on your healing journey and that this is the last knee surgery that you need to have. 💞
Props to Derik's parents for raising such amazing people as Derik and Tanner and they are great dads as well. So nice to watch men being amazing dads since it happens too often that fathers leave their families

Sunny is a precious little angel. She is so beautiful with her angelic little face and that hair is something else. I gotta love the Beaston Bunch, Derrick and his Brother both have beautiful families.
Derick and his brother are both wonderful husbands and fathers - but Sarah is not equal to her sister in law … I can’t imagine her leaving her husband with a badly damaged leg or abandoning her little daughter to go off and holiday without her??
@@Bluebell117oh ew just stop. Sarah deserves a break for doing all the work for so long. Derek’s brother wouldn’t have injured himself so bad from selfishness and then proceeded to do it again and again while everything was putt on his wife like Sarah has had to deal with. If my spouse asked me not to do things I knew would hurt me I wouldn’t keep doing them. Especially with children. Sarah even said before this that their marriage took a major hit and almost didn’t last over everything she had to do and all the pressure and she prays he didn’t hurt himself again and he did. She. Deserves. A. Break. She’s his partner not his slave. This video showed him being less selfish and actually stepping up as a parent/husband and I love to see it. This is a much more healthy dynamic. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with her taking that trip and it’s not like he doesn’t have help. They moved back to Utah. They have family and friends there. He’s not isolated.
Love Derek such a fun daddy and extremely patient with everything and everyone.

7:19 I love seeing parents dress their daughters for comfort and not to be girly. Derick, I think you and Sarah are both good people, but I feel like Sarah loves Jack more. She gives me the feeling that she wants to be a boymom. She doesn’t know how to get along with her daughter, but she treats Jack like he is still a baby. I hope Sunny won’t have mommy issues when she grows up.

Bonding happens as a newborn. He lost his opportunity a year and a half ago. He chose to go on vacay with Jack right after Sunny was born. Odd choice.

Great job with your knee! Been there and done that with my ACL. I know when I had sharp pains near surgery site my PT talked about messaging my scar tissue, stretching out my IT band, and rolling out your hamstring and quad. Probably very likely you won’t see this comment but hopefully you keep healing well!

I cut my finger last year. I had to get 5 stitches. When I would bend my finger it would hurt so bad. It’s taken a year for me to get almost all of my feeling back. Just take things slow it will get better.
