Great video to start the season and stunning fish. The fish looked to feeding hard and very catchable. Im surprised the last fish turned down the pheasant tail for the greedy dog. Maybe the fish wanted something that looked more like a caddis than a mayfly?
Yeah weird eh. The greedy dog did have a big bead vs it has to come up to the PT but that didn't look like a barrier. You will see that fish feature again in part 2 - stay tuned and thx for watching as always 🙏

Sun down up there is epic, you'll get some insane evening rises in the pools just before dark. I always try camp next to one for that reason😁
You're dead right on that. Amazing how things change as the sun angle changes. Hard to predict em given the way valleys snake around but once you find one💥💯

That is a 5wt. I do use a 6wt sometimes but prefer the 5wt for most of the rivers I fish 🏞️⛺
