Alice is one of the nicest people you would ever meet. He was a 20 year friend of Glen Campbells and he gave a very heartfelt video statement upon his passing. Alice also raises a lot of money for charity in Arizona.

Whomever suggested, should start with studio version. If your going to suggest live should be something more theatrical
" Ballad of Dwight Frye". This particular band is way too 80's hairband. Poor choice..
His band in the early 2,000 Diamonds tour far better.

Alice really does know how to put on a show. And yes this one is pretty tame in comparison to some of his other songs. Alice is considered the father of shock rock. His shows are very much 'a show'.

Alice Cooper was the name of the band when they formed in 1964. When the band broke up in 1974, lead singer Vincent Furnier legally changed his name to Alice Cooper and embarked on a solo career. School's Out is the title track of the 1972 album. Other songs to check out: I'm Eighteen, Welcome to My Nightmare, Hey Stoopid, Poison.

First live concert I ever went to when I was 16 was Alice cooper. Hara arena in Dayton Ohio. It was his first album. It was incredible. He had snakes on stage, a guillotine and maybe a baby doll? It was 50 years ago. But it was fun. Later in life I learned more about him. He plays golf. He plays in celebrity tournaments. He's just a normal guy that created this character back in the 70s. He hid his true life from everyone to keep the mystic growing. He is a brilliant man that knew what he was doing. He's retired now so now you see who he truly is. A marketing genius.

Love me some Alice C. Great rocker with a number of great songs. Always dressed for the occasion in his concerts. BTW if you think he just does rocker songs, I've got him on a live play of "Jesus Christ Super Star". So he is a versatile singer, not just what is mostly seen. I think he mostly likes to dress as a shocker rocker and it's reflected in most concerts.

Alice Cooper is 75 yrs of age and he's still recording and touring as 'evil Alice Cooper' ... This was an anthem of rebellion released in 1972 from the album of the same name "School's out" 🤘🤘🔥🔥
In real life, he was born Vincent Furnier to a Christian pastor dad who was a rock n' roll music fan, and he married the daughter of a Christian pastor - his wife Sheryl, since the 70's... Sheryl is a ballet and theater dancer and performed w/ Alice Cooper on tour in 1975. They married soon after and both are devout Christians... not the psychotic character that Alice Cooper is on stage.
Vincent Furnier was born in Michigan and like most kids in the 60's, grew up on The Beatles... He and his friends formed a Beatles tribute band called The Earwigs in high school... After graduating, the band became more theatrical and started using Halloween decorations on stage and called themselves The Spiders... Eventually, they were signed to Frank Zappa's label in the late 60's and needed a new name... Vincent was the singer and suggested the name Alice Cooper... The new Alice Cooper band wanted to shock audiences and dressed in glittery clothes and looked very intimidating... Vincent drew black eyeliner patterns on his eyes and looked deranged onstage... Audiences were so appalled by the band's appearance that they would freak out and leave.
As the Alice Cooper band did concerts, people kept calling Vincent 'Alice'... and he was a bit confused by it, but he soon embraced the notoriety and legally changed his name to Alice Cooper to the shock of his parents 😲😲Alice Cooper's first 2 albums sold poorly and Zappa had to sell his label to Warner Bros. records in 1970 - they were not thrilled w/ having Alice Cooper on their roster of artists.
However, they found a manager who believed in the band - Shep Gordon... He saw how audiences freaked out and left at an Alice Cooper show and thought that was 'powerful'... They just needed to harness that power and use it to draw people in. He brought in Canadian producer Bob Ezrin who loved the band and signed on to work w/ Alice Cooper (Bob Ezrin would become a huge producer working w/ bands like Pink Floyd, Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Deep Purple, etc.) ... Ezrin rebuilt the Alice Cooper band sonically, which featured - Alice Cooper (lead vocals), Glen Buxton and Michael Bruce (guitars), Dennis Dunaway (bass) and Neal Smith (drums) ...They released a new single 'Eighteen' in 1970 and it shocked everyone by becoming a huge hit on radio... Alice Cooper was in demand and finished their 3rd album 'Love it to death' in 1971, which became a platinum success.
With fame came money... bigger shows... more elaborate theatrical production... After the 'Killer' album in 1971, Alice Cooper would perform w/ a live snake onstage for a song... He set the bar for 'shock rocker' in the 70's and inspired every theatrical band from Kiss to Rob Zombie. Alice Cooper was playing arenas and stadium after the albums "School's out" (1972) and 'Billion dollar babies' (1973)... Unfortunately, the band and Alice Cooper reached a breaking point by 1974 and the singer split w/ his band and went solo in 1975.
Alice Cooper announced his first album as a solo artist 'Welcome to my nightmare' in 1975 and an elaborate tour for the album... Thankfully, it became a hit record selling platinum that year. Alice met his wife Sheryl who was a dancer on his tour and they soon married... However, Alice Cooper was also losing his battle w/ alcoholism and checked into a mental institution to sober up and get treated in 1978. He was clean for a few years, but his record sales were dropping by then... In the early 80's, he relapsed and abused alcohol to the point where he was near death and had to be hospitalized and nearly wrecked his marriage. In 1983, Alice Cooper finally made a final effort to get clean and saved his marriage... also briefly walking away from showbiz for a few years.
A fully sober Alice Cooper made his comeback in 1986 w/ the album 'Constrictor' and was determined to reclaim his place as the original shock rocker... His 1989 album 'Trash' became a platinum selling record after a decade w/ the hit single 'Poison'... Alice Cooper also appeared as himself in the comedy movie "Wayne's World" in 1992, but the 90's grunge rock era had again shafted his popularity. He kept touring in the 90's and eventually did better in the 2000's w/ albums like 'Brutal Planet' (2000)... 'Dragontown' (2002)... He finally also released a sequel album in 2011 - 'Welcome 2 my nightmare'... and has also been rejuvenated by his live band that featured 3 guitarists - female shredder Orianthi played in Alice Cooper's band for a few years and was replaced by guitarist Nita Strauss.
Alice Cooper's latest album 'Road' in 2023 is his 29th album.
Alice Cooper also formed the band Hollywood Vampires w/ actor Johnny Depp (guitar) and Aerosmith's Joe Perry (guitar)
Some more Alice Cooper classics - 'Eighteen' ... 'Billion dollar babies' ... 'No more Mr. Nice Guy' ... 'Only women bleed' ... 'Welcome to my nightmare' ... 'Hey stoopid' ... 'House of fire' ... 'Poison' ... 'Lost in America' ... 'Caffeine'... 'Feed my Frankenstein'... 🔥🔥🤘🤘

When i was younger,i called Alice "the grandpa of rockers",and when you look at him with his black makeup on,he surely looks like the father of the guys in KISS,eventhough they are not far away in age lol. He is very intense on stage, but the funny and ironic part is that he has such a "friendly neighbour" type of personality. I remember as a kid and teen, that many intimidating rockers would surprise me with theyr personalities. I guess i pictured them alot more "wild and reckless" also in theyr personalities, when i didnt know any better.
I know this man best for Poison of course, and "Hes back, the man behind the mask",wich was his song about Jason Voorhees, the main character in the horror franchise Friday The 13th.
I got into him because he has had 2 of the best female guitar players in the world with him on tour for years, first the Australian madame and also solo artist by the name Orianthi (she also played with Michael Jackson at some point,i believe, and other famous artists) To be replaced by someone that actually looks up to Orianthi, the stunning and amazing Nita Strauss. She collaborates with many of the leading vocalists out there today, with her solo music.
Both these ladies has tons of tour picures with Alice on theyr IG accounts. But yeah,Alice Cooper with makeup on would be so intense and intimidating for my grandma, she would look at him as a crazy person
Lulu`s eye for detail about the guys never stops amusing me!

I saw Alice in this tour in Manchester, ive seen him over 20 times always a great show, yes this was a tame clip, catch doing Stephen then into i love the dead where he uses the guillotine to behead himself, other props hanging himself from gallows and the electric chair. A strange case of tour had the giant cyclops, Alice,s shows were always theatrical with good hard driving music. During his Billion dollar babies tour here in the UK religious groups protested outside the concert venues and tried to ban him from the country. The original shock rocker.

All Alice Cooper songs have a message of goodness to them, don't let the few words invade your mind too soon, hear the full song first (from bad life experience in his songs he turns them into a good one are his end messages). Best band to see live

Hahaha. This song is a right of passage for every school kid.
Alice Cooper (Vincent Furnier) has a crazy fun silly live show You wouldn’t know it by his stage presence & performance but he’s a very spiritual guy who doesn’t do drugs or drink anymore and dose a lot of things for young musicians and an avid golfer.

So great. I loved it fifty years ago (!) and it still sounds great. It was considered a kind of glamour rock back then, and some called it shock rock. He really has taken good care of his voice, he still can sing like that, great. He also plays in a band with Johnny Depp on guitar!

No, actually his father was a minister...the song "No more Mr Niceguy" speaks to this. His religious family took alot of heat behind his sinister stage persona.

Check out Alice Cooper one and only love song You and Me. He wrote it for his wife many years ago.
His wife was a dancer/performer in his show. They are still married all these years later.

Alice Cooper is an icon and a OG of shock. I have had the pleasure of seeing Alice a few times in Concert and even got to see Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie play a concert together Two different generation shows. Rob Zombie is somewhat more current and technical while Alice Cooper is super over the top spectacular wizard of theater. I watched him die 7 different horrible deaths live in one concert😮😮😮😮😅😅😅 it was great. This song is an anthem that drove every school yeear through most of the Seveties then just carried on. I am enjoying a lot of your different generational reactions. I my self will be 61 in a few weeks but when it comes to good music there is only the music. I started watching you because of your Angelina Jordan journey. I got to see Angelina perform September 22 2023. Keep up the great reactions and if you all play then Keep on Playing!😊

Combined Cult horror films and music. Total Audio and Visual entertainment w/ hooks and solid musicians. Sadly, looking at much of his material in 2024 creates lots of questions for those awake. Yet, still some great straight R&R classics.

You 3 should go see Alice perform together. It is very common for multiple generations to attend his current concerts together. And one of his amazing guitarists, Nita Strauss, is just brilliant and a great inspiration for future female musicians. She has some great solos music out. Should check out "Dead Inside" in which David Draiman, lead singer for the band Disturbed sings lead vocals... She will blow your mind!
