This scale certainly suits Hail Caesar a lot better than 28mm. I don't think I'll be picking this up (ADLG is our local go-to for historic) but if I do I'll be getting as many of those elephants as possible. Learning about the psychologial effect of an elephant charge is one of my favourite memories from high school. Let's just say it was a LARP-esque experience.
You think that these would work well with Wargames Atlantic's Epic Battle Scale and with Warmaster (10mm)? I'd love to have some Romans and allied Gauls take on some Ashigaru and Orcs
Trying to convince myself I don't need these. Does look nice though. Would have been harder if it had been early Imperial Romans v "celts" or Greek city states v Persians
I wish they didn't do the Romans as blocks. I love everything about these except the roman infantry :/ Everything else I just love though. Thank you for this review!
I really like how they did the Romans as blocks. At that scale it isn't really noticeable unless you pick up the figures. Meanwhile, it saves a lot of time when painting.
Ordering my set next week, cant wait to get an epic scale battle laid out. Thanks for this video.

Looking forward to comparing these in person to my old 15mm Punic Wars figures. I’m betting they will be close enough to deploy on the same table.
To be honest I’d have preferred the Romans in two ranks as well! Thanks for the video
And in this video the elephant in the room will not be ignored ;)
Thanks for the video, very informative. Looking forward to receiving these 👍
The elephants look great but wonder how long before the spears or it pikes break? Very interesting, but will stay with my more resilient netals...
They look so good
But I can't have another ancient army
Wait might do lol
Where are the Gauls?
they weren't in the pre launch set they sey

@@TJ-zs3vx Celts it is then. They could certainly pass for brawny barbarians
