I love your Support Chicken! I wouldn't want to give up the chicken either! The hat for your husband was perfect!!! I love Mussels!!! The shops you went into were great to see, I was immediately drawn to the blue & yellow yarns!!! I love to watch you knit! I don't mind seeing the same destination... the places you've been are worth sharing often!
Thank you so much Janet!
THE Mussels on the beach is gorgeous! Yes, I've eaten mussels, but not on the beach!
Yum! I had muscles on the beach at PEI when I was there for the 2023 fiber festival. I am enjoying all your beautiful knits.
Yes, have had lots of mussels on the beach! Great episode...and I'm addicted to knitting Musselburgh hats!
There might need to be support groups for Musselburgh and Emotional Support Chicken addicts! 😉
I have enjoyed mussels on the beach. I love clams and mussels and some good memories come from traveling to a beach and getting mussels and clams. I loved the Knit One Murder Two series. The books were very simple, easy to knit to, and I had a delightful time figuring out who did it.
Mussels on the beach Hmm ... I can't quite stomach that but on the beach definitely! Yarn is so beautiful!
I had mussels many times and I really enjoy it. I had it in France several times. It makes me think about summer and sun and nice warm weather 🌞🌞🌞
Awww, no mussels on the beach....yet...! Life is for living and learning! Love your podcast!
Well-said!
Another great video dear! All your projects are beautiful, especially your emotional support chicken! No thank you to mussels on the beach but the yarn set is incredible! Travel safe dear. 💕
It’s so nice to watch a podcast, see all your projects and hear about your adventures. I love mussels but have never eaten them on the beach.
I’ve never had mussels to eat,but will look out for them . That give away yarn is so beautiful I ‘d love to knit it. Thanks for the chance
I have never eaten mussels on the beach! Thank you for the opportunity
Your Wips are beautiful! Mussels are yummy with some tomato and garlic.
Yes, I have dug up and eaten mussels on the beach. Love it.
I love mussels streamed in a wine butter sauce! Live mussels on the beach or anywhere. Love that dyed yarn.
So good!
Another wonderful episode! I really enjoy listening you talk about all your in-progress and finished projects. The added bonus is discovering beautiful canadian cities. It’s like being in your suitcase. Thank you for doing all that you do!
Thank you so much for that encouragement!! 💗
I have never had mussels on the beach but it sounds wonderful!
I love yarn much more than mussels...thanks for another great podcast.
I have never had mussels on the beach. I would love to. I just discovered your podcast. Thanks to UA-cam suggestions! I love it.❤
What a great episode ..... love the longer ones you do. Yes, I have eaten mussels - I grew up on the coast in South Africa so mussels fresh from the sea at our seaside cabin were a regular thing - they'd be boiled over a fire!
No mussels for me but I could live on the beach!! Love watching and traveling vicariously through you and your podcast. Safe travels.
I have never eaten mussels on the beach…or mussels period, for that matter! I never mind one bit when it’s a repeat location. Always happy to see you wherever you are!
Love your chatty podcasts and being introduced to the lovely places you go. Yes! I have eaten muscles on the beach.
I love to pull muscles off the rocks near where I live and eat them freshly shucked with a dribble of lemon juice .. right where I harvest them
Yum, mussels on the beach! PEI mussels are amazing.
👌🏼
I sure enjoy the variety of colours you use! Always inspiring. I’ve never eaten mussels! But I’m a fan of scallops and yarn! 😋 I used to to live in St. John’s so always fun to see the footage.
Being from the East Coast of New Brunswick, I ate lots of clams, mussels and lobster on the beach. Still love the taste of seafood.
I love mussels but I don’t think I’ve ever had them on the beach. I loved seeing the emotional support chicken and seeing all of them is giving me some FOMO ❤
You are such an adventurous knitter 😊 Happy Birthday and Anniversary and Podiversity
I have never eaten muscles on the beach…….but those colors are beautiful! Thank you for your podcasts and sharing your travels. I was just wondering if I missed you last month and there you are in my feed. Awesome.
Thank you for a lovely podcast. I have never eaten mussels on the beach but would like to!
Another wonderful episode! Thanks for taking us along. No I have never eaten mussels on the beach but I have eaten fish at a beach BBQ in South Africa.
Never had mussels on the beach! Maybe someday. Super yarn. Would be so happy to win it! Of course I am participating. Merci beaucoup 🤩
Good luck!
I love your podcast and harvesting mussels on the beach !! You convinced me to knit the emotional chicken😊😊
Welcome to the Chicken train 😆
Thank you for another great episode. Love that you pack us in your suitcase and take us with you wherever you go. Revisiting places you have been to before just lets us get to see more of each city! As for mussels on the beach, yes please. Had the opportunity to visit Newfoundland a few years ago and stayed in Cox's Cove for a few nights. While there, we did a fishing excursion and our host cooked us mussels on the beach in front of his cabin. A wonderful trip and memory.
Aw thank you Cindy! Great memories indeed!
I have never had mussels on the beach, but would love to! I loved your chicken and I hope I win the yarn!!🥰
What a beautiful city! Thanks for showing us around! I have never tried mussels on the beach…maybe one day! 🥰
Love your support chicken. Great colours. I must admit I have not tried mussels. Love your beautiful knits. Paula from Australia ❤
I’ve never tried Mussels, but if a chef prepared them for me, I would. This was a fun video to watch…especially the footage of your emotional support chicken. Thanks a bunch, Leanne
I have not had mussels on the beach even though my husband has family on the rock. Love your podcast!
I love mussels on the beach. I might I put an Emotional Support Chicken in my queue! Yours is fabulous.❤
Thanks Debbie!
Another lovely video...thank you so much.
I have never tried mussels on the beach 😊
I really enjoy your podcast. Thank you.
I love seafood, but I have never eat mussels on the beach. Happy 2 year podaversary
Love mussels - we had a great Belgian restaurant in Montreal. Served them steamed with fries and mayonnaise. So wonderful. Enjoy your podcast so much, thank you.😊.
Great episode! I love Esther the chicken! I almost want to knit one myself after seeing her.
I love mussels. Last time I had them in Bergen, Norway. Not quite on the beach but in the harbour. Good memory.
Wow! That sounds dreamy!
Nope have never eaten mussels on the beach, just in a restaurant!! It sounds delightful though!
Nothing beats moules et frites (mussels and fries) with a beer and the sound of waves in the background!
Dreamy!!
What a beautiful place! I absolutely love Briggs and Little yarns, I wish I could get it here in the states!
I think you can actually.. school house press? Also Wool Trends ships worldwide 👍🏼
Enjoy your podcast.
I enjoy mussels but I don’t think I’ve ever eaten them on the beach. Happy anniversary!
Yes, I have eaten mussels. In fact, it’s a family favorite. My aunt always makes them for us, she steams them in a tomato/wine sauce with lots of garlic. Ugh, now I want some 😂!! Nice episode! Happy Knitting, Laurene
Sounds like a delicious method!
Congratulations on 2 years podcasting, Leanne! Love your podcast. I love mussels and have eaten them on a beach. On our honeymoon many many moons ago, we dug clams and mussels and oysters on a beach in PEI and made a lovely clam chowder and then cooked and ate mussels!
Sounds so heavenly!
Congratulations 🎊🎉🎉🎊 on Two Year Podcasting Blogs and Travel 🧳 Sites!! No Muscles for me on the Beach yet, lol Thank you, for your special joyful episodes. It sure is fun your name is also my Mum's and your features like my sissy's. 😅 😊❤😊
I love all shellfish of course mussels and have bought them here in Connecticut on the beach
Congratulations and thank you for 2 years of the Knitty Stew. I look forward to all your episodes. Your photography is beautiful and your knitting is stunning. I appreciate your sentiment and information about the places and people you visit. As far as mussels, yes, yes, and yes. On the beach, in the kitchen, for happy hour, yes! Check out the Fancy Hen pattern for a refined chicken. I have made it 3 times and with a very different vibe each time. It is an excellent pattern. Be well!
Thank you so much Sheri! Fancy Hen you say?! I’ll be sure to check it out!!
Yes yes yes!! I’ve had the Fancy Hen in the Faves for 5 yrs, had forgotten all about it, oh thank you!
Great episode. Thank you Leann😁
I have eaten mussels on the beach, great memory.
Wow, I loved all the knits. The little cardigan is so cute. Your Treysta Pullover is gorgeous. Thank you for showing the Amen by Joji. I hadn't seen it yet it definitely is going on my to do list. The Soft Focus is also really pretty, love the yarn. The Gither is amazing. Amy's design just blew me away the first time I saw it, you did a great job.
Congratulations on your ticket win😁.
I appreciate all the places you take me, I don't get tired of repeats either.
Take care
🫶🏼
I love watching your UA-cam channel Leanne❣️ I feel honored that your support chicken is also my name Esther 😊 I have that pattern also & hopefully can figure it out before my granddaughter’s birthday in November. She cares for her family’s 5 chickens ❤
I love your tartan scarf! I had mussels once in Belgium. So yummy, even though I was a little nervous about eating them. Thanks for offering a giveaway!
Love mussels but have never had them on the beach. Love your channel and all your makes, lots of things have been added to my favourites ;-)
Hi Leann. I love eating mussels. the colourway is perfect. Fingers crossed that you win the van. Knitty Stew on the Road, go, go, go!
Sadly we didn’t win the van ..🚐 darn it!
Hi Leanne, Thanks for another great video! Love ❤ mussels (and love Dune also!)
👌🏼 💯
I loved this episode. I'll be queuing many of your projects! And I have had mussels on the beach. I grew up on Vancouver Island and 100yards from the ocean, it was a major family outing digging up mussels and clams. YUM!
😁
I have never YET eaten mussels on the beach!
Just returned from 7 days in Halifax with a special, long day of driving to PEI as had to fit it all in! Love the Maritimes! Ate several days of the most delicious mussels and oysters but alas, weather was not for the beaches yet...another reason to revisit in summer. Love your makes and they always inspire. Congrats on 2 years ❤
That sounds amazing (other than the weather)
Love Esther! Mussels marinara is my fav
I have made three emotional support chickens. I have a grandson who has been crazy for anything chicken since he has been little. He is now in his 20s and still loves chicken things. His is made out of worsted weight and is huge. The second and third ones are made out of fingering weight yarn as that is what I have the most of. My three-year-old great-grandson took possession of the second chicken. For the third chicken I held eyelash yarn together with the yarn for the tail. The eyelash yarn was long eyelashes and a real bugger to work with so I won't be doing that again. I'm taking a break, but there will be more in my future. I just need to finish other things first.
Oh how lovely! Those chickens are definitely well-loved!
I have not tried muscles yet but am trying to push my boundaries 👏
They aren’t my favourite texture that’s for sure!
Texture!! I’m guessing they may have a chewy/rubbery texture 😕
Love the support chicken! I’ve never tried mussels but am willing to try most anything at least once and definitely want to try them on a beach.
No mussels on the beach. Occasionally mussels in a dish with other seafood, but honestly they're not my favourite seafood. Happy Podaversary! I totally enjoy every episode!
Thank you Esther!
Nice to see you back in St John’s. I would love to win that lovely yarn. Just beautiful.
I’ve not had mussels on the beach but I have had oysters and lobster in the beach 😜
If you’ve only seen the movies, you should read the book(s). It a great series and would explain a lot more than the films.
👍🏼
I love all of your episodes. Thank-you for doing this. I have never eaten mussels either on or off the beach. I love seafood, so I need to give it a try.
Love your support chicken! I need one. Years ago before support chickens came out, I knitted my mom a chicken as she had a few hens. I love mussels; smoked, steamed, broiled-anyway I can get them lol
That is awesome! You were ahead of the game.
Muscles on the beach is the only way❤
I love your podcast! Thank you for sharing with us. ❤ I have eaten mussels in Bar Harbor, Maine but not on the beach! 😂 You make me smile and it’s so easy to laugh along with you. We will be traveling through Canada on our way to Alaska this sipummer and it looks like we’ll be going though Whitehorse! Hopefully I’ll have the chance to stop in the lovely yarn shop there!
Love mussels in a crab pot but haven’t had any on the beach but have had some in a restaurant overlooking water.😊 I like the lighter reading and am reading Murder She Knit and will look into Knit One Murder Two. Keep on with the videos of the places even if you’ve been there before. Love seeing the views.
I have never had 💪🏻 at the beach. Love your chicken. I have been knitting Mother Hen by Susan B Anderson, so s cute I have made 4 and counting.☺️
BIG Susan B Anderson fan over here 👈
I have tried mussels- my kids love them, but alas I did not like them. The yarn however is gorgeous and I would be happy to knit it. Congrats on 2 years of podcasting. I have watched since the beginning and never miss an episode. I made an Emotional Support Chicken too and I really really love Hennifer. I am about to start the Rebel sweater, which has the button band knit as you go- can’t wait! I gotta get to St. John’s -so beautiful! Thanks for another great podcast and super recommendations.
👋🏼 Hennifer and Jennifer!!
Hello from Smiths Falls, Ontario. I loved your footage from St. John's...I have great memories of my trip to NFL in 2018 and plan to return. Mussels...love them but alas have not eaten them on a beach...as yet!
Hiii 👋🏼
I love Esther!! And you’ve just inspired me to make one for my friend who is moving away and has her own chickens.
Aww that is so fun that we can give those gifts from the heart!! what’s one more chicken, right?
Congrats 🎉do love your podcast❤ love the Almejas here in Spain….very small and tasty
In my teens we went to the beach in Ubatuba, Brazil to get muscles and then we cooked them tat home.😊 it is a great memory of mine.
That is really interesting. Very cool!!
Oh Leanne, I'd follow you anywhere anytime - put me on repeat 😅 - always happy to travel along. Thank you for another amazing episode, so much to love with your knits and fun, meaningful content, I truly love it all :-) and congratulations on 2 years of awesomeness here in UA-camland 🎉 My favourite eating mussels on the beach memory is chowing down while hiking the west coast trail here on Vancouver Island - never tasted better than that. Take care and hug that chicken for me xo
You're the best!
Thank you for another great podcast 🤩 I enjoy seeing all the places you go to, and it's always fun when you explore the same city more than once, too, so we can get a nice overview 😊 I eat mussels on the beach every summer. In Norway we call them blåskjell or 'blue shells' I am looking forward to eating more this summer 🤩
That’s awesome. Very interesting. Good to know!! Thanks for watching!!
I’ve never had mussels! I love your podcast though! 😀💕
Congratulations on two years of podcasting, I have been here since the beginning, and always look forward to your episodes.
I have eaten mussels, but never on a beach, just boring like in a restaurant! Loved seeing Ester, and how much joy she brings you.
Lovely episode leanne,,,,,🎉🎉

ELAINE 🏠 💗
Thanks so much Elaine!
I love this episode! The viral chicken is lovely. Im contemplating on makingvone for myelf too. I love musseles too and yes I had them as fresh catch when I was a kid living in the coast of nothern Philippines.
Climb aboard the chicken train woot woot!
@kat_tail_knits I haven't eaten muscles on the beach only because I'm not a fan but I am a new fan of your podcast! I love how you add some video of the area you are currently in. I'll be sure to tune in again.
Love the colors you used in your Treysta!! I loved it so much I broke my rule and purchased the pattern before I plan to knit it. (Will be a fall knit) It will be another someday pattern. It was $4.00 with Knit as the coupon code. Will try and copy your colors. Now to purchase yarn!!😊
It has a lot of wow factor! I would recommend checking other Ravelers re: the neckline. Also, I forget if I mentioned there are about 4 rounds I think of 3 stranded colour - and I found Jessica McDonald’s tutorials on UA-cam made it a piece of cake!
I never tire of the scenery of Newfoundalnd and Labrador. I have been twice, once for two weeks, and would go back in a heartbeat. Each time you take us back to a place, you find different wonderful areas to focus on. I am not sure if you ever overnight in Penticton, but if you do, it would be fun to knit.
🤔 I do get to Kelowna!
😍
I have never eaten muscles. I have this thought in my head, that says, "if it looks like that, it shouldn't go in your mouth."😂
Right!??? You’re not wrong
Thank you for today! Happy knotting!,
I've never had mussels let alone mussels on the beach. But, the colorway is gorgeous. I so enjoy your podcasts. Thank you for taking the time to make them. I always get excited when I see you have uploaded.
Aw thanks Heather!
Loving the colours of the houses in Newfoundland, Leann. Your videos are always inspiring and entertaining xxx
Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary! I have never tried mussels and if I am honest I don’t plan to lol😂
Thank you for such a wonderful podcast
I am new here but thoroughly enjoy all of it❤
Thank you so much Pamela! 🤗
Yay! A new video! I always look forward to them :)
I love your podcast! Thanks for the give away! I will appreciate it. 1:09:11
I have not had mussels in the beach. I am not super keen on eating mussels. I like crab tho.
I love crab!
I have never had mussels. We have gone digging for clams and did eat those. They were not good. I don’t think my mom knew how to cook them. I was just a kid then.
