Aude! I enjoyed your podcast and subscribed ❤ the reason you ran out of yarn is because you referred to the weight of it and not the yardage. Always get yarn according to the yardage of your size - so the weight and skein count will adjust itself accordingly ❤
Welcome! And yes, I always go with yardage but in this case, the label only indicated the thickness (Aran) and amount in grams (600g) so I assumed the yardage from the other yarns that brand sells. But it turns out the yarn was mislabelled… Unfortunately.
Thank you so much! ❤️ I always enjoy knitting your patterns and I'm really looking forward to making the new beautiful Brioche cardigan you just release.
Your bookclub cardigan is perfect! I love the color and it fits you beautifully! Thank you so much for all of your advice about this patten. Your WIPS look wonderful. I cringed listening to your adventure with the Miles Shirt Jacket! I can't wait to see them completed.❤🧶
I loved this bumper episode Aude, thank you ( very late in catching up!). As always your makes are inspiring and thoughtfully discussed. I love your Book Club cardigan - added to the want to make list. Also added Maisie Dobbs to my reading wish list - I’d not come across this series before and it sounds great.
Just found your podcast! What an enjoyable episode, loved your beautiful knits! We all can relate when we hit a wall with our knitting projects, that’s how we learn for the next time around…thank you for sharing your story with the Miles shirt jacket❤
Thank you for this episode, and sharing your knitting with us! I love your Bookclub cardigan, and loved the dramatic story of your Miles Shirt Jacket woes! Sometimes it is so difficult when things just don't come together! At least I find it terribly frustrating. But, the good thing about knitting and yarn is that there is always another project or pattern, or something to dive into.
It’s been so lovely to find you and spend some time knitting with you Aude! I adore your book club cardigan and will be checking my LYS for that colourway this weekend! Thanks for the book talk too, I have just finished the second Thursday Murder club and have loved them both, looking forward to reading more of Richard’s books!
Hi Ally! It's so lovely to see you here. I really enjoy watching your podcast. ❤️ I hope you find the yarn at your LYS. It's really lovely! I'm so glad you're enjoying the Thursday Murder Club . They're currently making a film adaptation of the first one with Helen Mirren cast as Elizabeth. Isn't that just the perfect match? 😃
Hi! So glad to see you! Your cardigan is quite a masterpiece! Beautifully done! I love knitting with unspun, so i am glad to see your projects! I have some Manchelopi in my que ! Can't wait! When you showed your gift sock yarn, i burst out laughing! We are opposite. Im a color person, I you are a grey/ neutral person. I just finished a grey cardigan for my granddaughter and really struggled with the grey!😅 Be well!!❤
I'm making the Port jacket and it's the first time I'm using the recommended yarn. I got mine from Wool Warehouse also, in the shade Stone Blue Heather. I'm enjoying working with the Lettlopi, hoping it softens up a bit with blocking though. I also want to make the Miles shirt jacket, thank you for your helpful tips !
Stone Blue Heather is such a beautiful shade! I almost got it for mine but then decided to play it safe with a gray that would easily fit within my wardrobe. Let me know if it softens up with blocking! ❤️
Hi Aude, thank you for a lovely podcast. Your work is just so beautiful! Love your cardigan. The cables are so precise, you used the perfect yarn. Totally sympathize with you about the aran vs bulky yarn! Been there !.... Could you please let me know what the mittens and headband was that you spoke of? I could not catch what it was. I'm looking for a set that I can make for my daughter for Xmas so I'm looking for ideas. Thank you. And I love the Cornish Knitter also....I belonged to her sock club for a bit and such a great box to get!!!!!
Hi Mary, Thank you for your kind words about my knits. ❤️ The mittens and headband set are called Hiedra and the designer is Fibertales. :) If you use Ravelry, I’ve also got a bundle there of accessories patterns that work as sets. Here is the link: ravel.me/BobblesAndBerries/imtclt I enjoy matching accessories. :)
@@bobblesandberries great thank you! I love her designs at Fibertales. i bought the Gro Shawl that I want to do and I also want to do the Var shawl by Nina Pommerenka, both in unspun....of course. :-) thank you
Regarding the Miles Shirt Jacket I couldn't meet gauge as well, with Nutiden yarn. I had to go down needle sizes and knit the smallest size. The result is not the light weight fluffy texture I wanted. It still fits well, but I don't love it. But I love your podcast a lot. Happy knitting!❤
Your book club cardigan is so darling. Since you knit size 3, what is your bust measurement? I struggle trying to not have too much fabric or being too tight. My bust is 42 inches. Feels like I should be ok with size 3 too 45.25. Or does one go up? I’m slender wit a bigger bust.
I have a bust measurement of 35in but also there isn’t much difference between my upper bust and my full bust so I never really have to tinker patterns in the way you seem to wish to for yourself. There must be videos out there about modifying patterns in the way you want. 😊 I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. As it’s not something I ever have to deal with, I simply don’t know much about it.

So many lovely projects, I get your warning about buying yarn on sale. Thanks !!!
Thank you! Yes, this yarn I got on sale was really bad luck...
@@bobblesandberries Bad labelling !
Thank you! So nice to see all your crafting!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it. ❤️
I think you did a great job on the book club cardigan! Your one fits you better than the one in the model product photo. 👏👏👏
Aw thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you for another fun podcast. Your Miles shirt jacket is going to be gorgeous!
Thank you! ❤️ I can't wait to be able to wear it.

Great podcast. Thanks for all the info on the Book Club Cardigan, which is on my to-make list for this year. Very helpful.

Beautiful work on your bookclub cardigan🥰I want to knit this one, now!!
Thank you! It’s a lovely engaging pattern that makes a wonderful garment so definitely recommend giving it a go. ❤️
Think I have to make a Miles Jacket. The unspun from Hillesvåg is so nice❤ nice to see your podcast as always 😃
It is really really nice! I wish they made it in more colours. ❤️
I loooove your book club cardigan! It’s the exact colour I want to make one in
Thank you! It’s the best neutral! Is Jamieson & Smith available anywhere in Ireland?
@@bobblesandberries not in person but I could easily get it online I’m sure! 🤔
