"Pain is unavoidable. Suffering is optional." My second contribution asserting that pain and suffering are not interchangeable. Just like happiness and contentment are not interchangeable.

Hello Carl. I wanted to thank you from the depths of my heart you can’t even know how tremendously your videos are helping me right now. You make everything easier to understand and I get the much needed support for codependency and knowing myself and parenting my inner child. I wanted you to know that what you are doing is helping me, it has not little but huge effects on me. I also go to therapy but whenever I feel like I’m taking steps backwards, I regain hope to go on from the videos of yours. Thank you so much you are a gift 😊

It's interesting to note that sometimes things that are within our control can often morph into things that are not within our control, for one reason or another, and there is a wisdom to recognizing this and accepting this too.

I think there can be discussion on every one of those quotes.. I will take the "There is no way to come to consciousness without pain" quote.. First of all I look at consciousness as awareness.. Second it sounds like this is referring to hitting a bottom.. I have been reflecting on a bottom in my ACA program and actually more bottoms come up.. For me it is when I abandon myself.. So essentially it would be me going away from that place of consciousness or awareness or going back into denial.. An example would be that I took a job and I knew that I would not last but I took the job anyways.. How did I know? When the Imaging Director was yelling at the guy installing the camera.. That was the only red flag that I needed.. That is where consciousness or awareness could have prevented me from a lot of pain.. And yes there were red flags all along the way.. If I am honest with myself I knew it as it was happening.. I don't have to look back and reflect for it to become clear and obvious..

A lot of my younger life, I would pray for help for our world, societies and people. As I grew older, I started seeing channeling coming through people's. I really love, appreciate and am filled with light knowing that words and experiences like these are happening. Global awakening ðŸ’-👍 Thank you

Thank you! And here is one of Mr. Rogers' quotes: “You know, I think everybody longs to be loved, and longs to know that he or she is lovable. And, consequently, the greatest thing that we can do is to help somebody know that they’re loved and capable of loving.”
