Nah I got water in my ear a few weeks ago and now I tried to itch my right ear and im deaf

FOR THOSE WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO GET WATER OUT OF THEIR EAR: I had water in my left ear for 3 days, usually when I follow these steps water comes out right away (which does on my right ear), but for the first time in my life, water didn’t come out of my left ear and so it bothered me for the last 3 days (thinking it will go away on its own) until I decided to see my doctor. My doctor said that I had earwax on my left ear which “expanded” when water got in my ear that’s why water couldn’t come out. So he had me put ear drops for 2 days before I went to his clinic, and when I saw him it only took him about 5mins to get the earwax out, and now I can totally hear everything and pressure on my left ear is finally gone!!!

What I do is get warm water not chlorine water and drip a tiny amount in. You'll hear a popping sound. Tilt your head and the water will come out

1- tilt your ear ( that has the water in it) down
2- wiggle it 4 times
3- pull it down for about 10 seconds
4- get a towel / tissue and gently hold it up to your ear and let the water come out

*A method that I do which works 100% of the time for me.* All I do is pretty much submerge my ear back in some water and then lift it back out but making sure my ear is still facing the water so all of it can drain out properly. If doing it once doesn't work, do it again. Try leaving your ear in the water for longer or just do a quickie. Which ever way you feel works best for you.
To everyone who has water in there ear here are some helpful tips: 1. Don’t panic if u do u might make it worse 2. Don’t shake ur head it doesn’t help if u shake ur head the water will just stay in the same spot. 3. Lay ur head down make sure u put ur ear that has water on the pillow or whatever ur gonna put ur head on then leave ur head like that for a few mins, the water will slowly go down and u will be perfectly fine. I hope this works for u guys :3

This happened to me when I took a shower and then I get water in my right ear. I always wipe my ear with a thin towel to get water out of my ear but water wouldn't leave my right ear. It becomes blocked that I cannot hear out of my right ear. I did many things to get the water out of my ear but it doesn't work for me. Please help!

I have water stuck in my ear and pain. It was from getting my ear flushed at the Doctors office. I waited almost a week hoping it would get better on it's own. Finally I couldn't deal with it anymore so I bought Hylands Earache drops and within a couple days the pain is gone and water is draining from my ear. It has special ingredients that release's water congestion and helps with pain. Has anyone else tried it and had the same results?. Did you still have to go and see a doctor?. Since it happened at the doctor's office I'm not really inspired to go back. I'm afraid he will shove the otoscope in my ear trying to find the problem and make it worse. If that's even possible at one point the pain was so bad it felt someone was drilling into my ear. The pain is gone now though after the drops.

lol, someone said captions. Basically his first advice is to pull your ear to make your ear canal straighter and use gravity. And the other was use a hair dryer. A word of caution is don’t stick anything in your ears! Don’t put any cotton, paper towels, etc. too far into your ear bc it may introduce ear infections. Hope this help anyone who can’t hear because of the water in their ears! Also, he said you could have an ear infection if this starts randomly out of the blue and u weren’t swimming/there isn’t a reason you would have gotten water in ur ear.❤

The best ways to actually get rid of water from your ears to release pain is pretty simple
Tip1: Bang your head on your pillow several times.
Tip2: If tip1 doesn’t work your ears is probably infected this is not that much of a problem just go to the doctor tell him/her that you feel pain in your ear and they’ll tell you it’s infected and will give you antibiotics

Another thing to try is yawning, because when you yawn, it's almost as if your ear "straightens out" and water comes right out. But if you know for sure you have water, maybe you just went swimming and nothing makes the water come out, then you have an earwax build up that got worse because of the water.
In my case, when i let the earwax build up for too long, i start getting dizzy randomly throughout the day. Don't let it go for that long, get some ear drops or go see a doctor.
I have a question: When my family goes to the pool my sister and I spend roughly the same amount of time in the pool and underwater. So why is it that everytime we go she always leaves with water in her ear and I never get water in mine?
She might do a lot of flips underwater causing more water to go in.

I did the suction tactic, where I cupped my hands and created a suction effect...It seemed to help a little. I also read on some sites where they recommended mixing rubbing alcohol with white vinegar . They would place a few drops inside the ear and this would “dry out the ear”... many comments stated this worked for them, so I tried it. However after only one drop, I felt a burning sensation and immediately dried it up. Now my canal shows a reddish pink on the q-tips and I believe the water is gone, but now it keeps re-bleeding small amounts and the liquid from the blood is creating the same sensation.

The way I do it is I go over my sink, put some warm water in my hand then I put my hand to the affected ear and I tilt my head in the opposite direction until i feel the water deep enough (less then 3 seconds) then I quickly tilt my head back so it all drains out... I don't know why but old water + new water = no water.

Tried litterly everything and its still deep in there it hurts so much
The best way for me to get water out of my ear is to get a hot water bottle and put your ear on it and lie down ( not too hot ) and be patient, and let the heat absorb into your ear and after about an hour, take the hot water bottle off and let gravity do the rest of the work. Hope this helps 👂💧
