@@Dead-xk1lk Magic damage isn't something lower resist effects. Thats why it isn't present on the player attribute page. Very few monsters spawn with magic resistance which is for many reasons why a Hammerdin is so strong.
I used my marrow walks trapped him a few times and took him out. I have great fire and lighting resists now makes the fight much less nerve racking. I remember the first time I fought him was scared as @#$%$## 😆
I wasn't in a rush to kill him either, so not a bad idea to take your time, no need to be super aggressive if it's your first try anyway. I'm going a bit more aggressive on DClone now that I have a few anni's from him now.
@@Braddaddyx the first balance change iteration had strafe without the 25% damage penalty and added attack rating, and guided arrow with an extra +2% Ed per level. The second iteration was the one that introduced the synergies to the 3 bow skills: Multishot: 12%ea from guided arrow Guided arrow: 12%ea from multishot Strafe: 5%ea from MS, 10%ea from GA
@@Bowazon Ok, ty i was completely wrong with this one. So strafe got buffed more than MS, but with an MS Bowzone you spare 20 skillpoints because it just has 1 synergieskill. I will try the strafe, because with that many hits + crushing blow it has the potential to even do ubers (or organs). Thanks for your videos, I will keep watching them to get new Ama intel.
@@Braddaddyx also, something that isn't commonly known is the strafe attack speed bug no longer exists in D2R, so you can shoot strafe at higher attack speeds than on LoD. That said, strafe still suffers from Next Delay of 4 frames, which basically means a strafe volley all going towards 1 target will result in 1/2 or 2/3rds of those arrows missing by default. Still, strafe is not bad but against Ubers, I doubt you will have enough attack rating to hit them with strafe effectively. Strafe is still ok taking out the minions though.
I have a low faith sitting in one of my mules, but don't really have the right supporting gear to make this really work. I'll look at this once I do some more item finding.

Oh ok, I doubt there's even been a Dclone event in hardcore yet but I'm not sure. You probably just need to wait some time longer. Best to stay idle in a private hell game while you're not playing/AFK on the server that you think he will pop on first.
Yeah I did it much better in the first attempt. Part of the problem was I didn't prebuff my merc the second time, but also I didn't really use the map terrain very well. I thought I was lagging out at the start of the fight when I saw my arrows got stuck.
@@Bowazon Ah ok, that is smart! But I guess it was a bug maybe with melee weapons before, with left and right hand. But I think they fixed it now. Thought if it affected bows too. Thanks!
@@Lythforce2 I think that bug was more around dual wielding weapons and attack speeds. For bows there isn't any bug around this, but have things the other way for the conveniences described :)

What do you think about an infinity merc? Would love to hear your opinion. Wanted to test it out but it's a pricey commitment.
Infinity won't do much for you. You might as well use Reaper's Toll.

I thought that multishot now receives synergies from strafe? Did they change that back again? Or is that an old video from before 2.4?
Multishot receives synergy bonuses from guided arrow.
@@Bowazon yes i know, but with the second 2.4 patch they also made it synergise with strafe i can remember, but seems they removed that.

Quick question for you. Why did you run it on windforce and not faith?

Does it matter if you have the bow on the left or right side?
Having the bow on the right makes it easier to manage your arrows and harder to accidentally sell your bow.
