Parting with others - higher chance monsters drop items, but lower chance you actually get the good items. This is why some people prefer to farm in different areas to others, so the loot bots and others do not snipe the good items. Also 7/1 and 8/1 at 14.29% is obviously better than 1/64% but if your kill speed is enough, it's the much of a difference.

1 player farming an area 62% no drop. 100 mobs farmed, 48 items dropped = 38 items per player. 100% monster HP = standard difficulty 2 players grouped farming an area 39% no drop. 100 mobs farmed, 61 items dropped = 30 items per player. 150% HP = ~75% difficulty 3 players farming an area 24% no drop, 100 mobs farmed, 66 items dropped = 22 items per player. 200% HP = ~66% difficulty 5 players farming an area, 9% no drop. 100 mobs farmed, 91 items dropped = 18 items per player. 300% HP = ~60% difficulty and it gets worse from there... Beyond the old man reflex/pickit argument, playing full games is less loot per mob per player grouped. This is offset by kill speed (50% more hp per player per mob in the difficulty calc above), however the number of mobs that spawn in an area is static and transit/loading/grouping time is lost value. IMO the best strategy for MF online is to do split MF and have each player farm a different area to see that 38% (P3), 24% (P5), or 14% (P7) no drop with the full value going to the farming player.
I agree on the split mf part but if you look at you calculations, you will see that if you play with just one person in the same area it is best for most situations(you will need at least 3 players for slit mf). p1 37.5 items per player (not 48) p2 61.22/2=31.61 items per player From here if you factor 1.25 clear speed the equation is: p1 37.5 items per player for the same time p2 ~39.51 items per player for the same time And yeah if you factor "old man reflex/pickit argument" p8 is the best :)

Look at it this way.. collect enough Orts and you can make a Zod
Solo farming online is so damn hard.....
So farming alone, will get you nothing and farming with 8 people will get you nothing, because they are all ninja born looters.
On single player , players 3 the best
Wouldn't it be p7?
"will always drop x potions and an item"
me : kills andi who drops absolutely nothing...
Exactly. Andariel drops nothing all the time. The information on the website is misleading/false
it always disgusted me how this game differentiates between online and offline! it’s a shame they didn’t change any of it in the remaster… then again… what did they change except graphics?
Synergies?
So sweet
This has been basic knowledge for 20 years
And this is exactly why we dont need the player count command online lol
Let us use /players online you cowards
Bots would destroy the economy even more
@zombie yeah sadly that ruined the ladder when people use stuff like that and just spend FG/irl money to get bis in no time..
@@peigen7151 who cares about the economy when most people are just playing the game to make strong builds.
they ned to add a option to increase players count with real people joining
If you want loot, you have to farm solo anyways.
I hear that
Thiccolas Cage lol
