Unfortunately, that means she's also the little girl who was killed by her father along with her mother in a murder suicide. Rest in Peace to the little girl who at least brought happiness to kids in two great kids movies.
Truth be told I still can't watch All Dogs Go To Heaven or the Land Before Time after finding out what happened to the little girl. Those two movies were among my favorite growing up and it was just heartbreaking to know the girl who brought so much happiness didn't get to grow up.

My problem with these movies is that sharks only attack because they don’t know we’re not food. That’s why sometimes they’ll just let go, they’re like “ew what is this” They don’t intentionally kill people

I’m a little shocked that Judith Barsi (Thea Brody) wasn’t mentioned at all in this video, only because her untimely demise did tie in with the production of this film. While filming in the Bahamas, her mother Maria complained to several crew members about her fear of being killed by her husband... to a point that her hysterics were seen as overly dramatic and not taken seriously; Judith, having been threatened by her father with a knife before filming, flew back to California early after suffering an emotional breakdown. Who knows what could’ve happened, but I always found it heartbreaking over the thought that if at least one person HAD taken Maria seriously during that production, it could’ve saved their lives.
She'll always be remembered as our favorite little swimmer, Ducky. Yep, yep, yep. It was wrong of her father to do that to her and her mom. They didn't deserve it. No, no, no.

If I were to re-write the beginning of the movie, it would go like this: After Sean gets his arm eaten off, he quickly rushes to the cab and starts the boat up, the engine does NOT fail and he quickly rushes back to the decks still heavily bleeding from his bite, the shark rams into the back of the boat and Sean manages to jump on the deck nearly toppling in the water on the other side, the propeller from the boat causes the fish to bleed, not so much to kill it, leaving a deep scar on it's nose, Sean rushes to the station and the receptionist calls the Amity Hospital. Later the Brody's visits him, Michael recalling the first time he experienced a NEAR shark attack in the first movie that got him in shock and had him sent to the hospital too, this time it's his younger brother Sean but in a more serious degree. Hours later, the hospital called in Mike and said that he manages to live, Mikey and his daughter visits him and are very glad to see him okay, but Sean warns Mike about the shark and tells him to take the research team out into warmer waters, Michael agrees, but Ellen just flat out tells him to quite the job out of fear, but Mike listens to his brother's wish and calls in Jake to take the research crew out to warmer waters at the Bahamas. Sure the rest of the movie would be stupid with the shark hunting in warmer waters and would still roar before getting impaled, but hopefully this does some justice for people who are looking for ways for a different beginning to the film.
It actually makes no sense. Brody was completely fine after killing _two_ sharks, and then he suddenly had a heart attack out of fear sometime before Jaws 4? It's stupid.
Apparently, the novelization tried to justify the shark's persistent chasing of the Brody's with it having been voodoo cursed. ... I wish I was making this up.
They also said the sharks from the sequels were related to the first one, the one from jaws 2 was his wife, this one was his son and the ones from jaws 3-d are his grandchildren (which makes even less sense that the voodoo thing tbh)

Did you ever get around to watching Deep Blue Sea? I saw that when I was 10 in cinemas after living off of Jaws movies. I had to leave early, right after the Sam death scene for a rather urgent bathroom break that I did not come back from. I am not so terrified of the water I can't even dive or swim in a video game haha.

They actually filmed the scene where he climbed onto the boat soaking wet. Then they filmed some other scenes before it was decided they needed to reshoot Michael climbing onto the boat. Of course Michael completely dried off by the time they decided to reshoot the scene, but apparently nobody noticed but Michael. Michael decided not to bring it to the crew’s attention because he didn’t want to get wet again.

I’m a little shocked that Judith Barsi (Thea Brody) wasn’t mentioned at all in this video, only because her untimely demise did tie in with the production of this film. While filming in the Bahamas, her mother Maria complained to several crew members about her fear of being killed by her husband... to a point that her hysterics were seen as overly dramatic and not taken seriously; Judith, having been threatened by her father with a knife before filming, flew back to California early after suffering an emotional breakdown. Who knows what could’ve happened, but I always found it heartbreaking over the thought that if at least one person HAD taken Maria seriously during that production, it could’ve saved their lives.

If I were to re-write the beginning of the movie, it would go like this:
After Sean gets his arm eaten off, he quickly rushes to the cab and starts the boat up, the engine does NOT fail and he quickly rushes back to the decks still heavily bleeding from his bite, the shark rams into the back of the boat and Sean manages to jump on the deck nearly toppling in the water on the other side, the propeller from the boat causes the fish to bleed, not so much to kill it, leaving a deep scar on it's nose, Sean rushes to the station and the receptionist calls the Amity Hospital. Later the Brody's visits him, Michael recalling the first time he experienced a NEAR shark attack in the first movie that got him in shock and had him sent to the hospital too, this time it's his younger brother Sean but in a more serious degree. Hours later, the hospital called in Mike and said that he manages to live, Mikey and his daughter visits him and are very glad to see him okay, but Sean warns Mike about the shark and tells him to take the research team out into warmer waters, Michael agrees, but Ellen just flat out tells him to quite the job out of fear, but Mike listens to his brother's wish and calls in Jake to take the research crew out to warmer waters at the Bahamas.
Sure the rest of the movie would be stupid with the shark hunting in warmer waters and would still roar before getting impaled, but hopefully this does some justice for people who are looking for ways for a different beginning to the film.

It actually makes no sense. Brody was completely fine after killing _two_ sharks, and then he suddenly had a heart attack out of fear sometime before Jaws 4? It's stupid.

They actually filmed the scene where he climbed onto the boat soaking wet. Then they filmed some other scenes before it was decided they needed to reshoot Michael climbing onto the boat. Of course Michael completely dried off by the time they decided to reshoot the scene, but apparently nobody noticed but Michael. Michael decided not to bring it to the crew’s attention because he didn’t want to get wet again.
