I'm sitting the level 1 tomorrow...
Knowing that only 36% of people passed level 1 in Nov 22 isn't settling my nerves 🙃...
I will go into the exam assuming I'll fail and my plan B will be to continue doing as many practice questions as possible until the next Level 1 exam date.
As they say, if you rest, you rust.

Hey Joe, just found out today that I failed by such a marginal slither its infuriating. I scored well above 70% in most sections but bombed 2 or 3 of them which led me to fail. I am considering rewriting next year in February but have just been offered roles in consulting. I want to continue the designation anyways to leave me with open doors later down the line. Does that make sense?

Sorry to hear that Gareth, very frustrating.
Makes sense to me, always good to keep learning and keep doors open.
If you end up really liking consulting and decide to drop the CFA, that’s ok too. We’re all figuring out our own path as we go.

Hi Joe, where did you get your frame for your charter? Looks like you got a new frame and it looks very nice.

Thank you Joe, it was really helpful to me as i failed my CFA level 1 exam August 2022 batch but now I'm studying again to pass the exam this time and i will be taking my exam in May 2023, so can you give me some tips to pass the exam this time?

Thanks Saksham, it all comes down to learning consistently every day, getting through as many practice questions and mock exams as you can, and memorizing formulas.
There are some more specific tips in some of my other videos. Good luck!

Hi Joe, I have failed my CFA level 2 November 2022 exam. CFA offers me to register for May 2023, but I feel it is a too short period of time to prepare again. What worries me is that it will be 2023 exams and I prepared with the 2022 Schweser package, prep provider has expired, do you advice to re-take August and buy a prep provider aswell?

Hi Anton, sorry to hear that.
Personally, the 2nd time I took level 2, I only used the CFA institute material. My thinking was if I understood every practice problem and mock exam the Institute gave, there would be no surprises. They wouldn’t test something they didn’t teach. That turned out to be true in my case.
Providers can explain certain concepts more clearly and concisely, it’s a personal choice if you want that. But I don’t think content will change that much from 2022 to 2023.
Starting from scratch, 4 months to prepare might be tight, but since you already learned a lot the first time around, I think it’s doable if you’re up for it.
      Good luck!

Hi Anton we are in the same boat. I think the best strategy is to take eithet August or November..and do the blue box and all practise questions...

@@ericgregorious7047 why do you think August or even November are better? Joe adviced the faster the better.
