As a Muslim, i want y'all to understand it, IN ISLAM WE MUSLIM DON'T JUDGE ANYONE AND THERE'S A HADITH WHICH REMINDS US THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO HATE OR COUNT HER DEEDS OR EVEN JUDGE A WOMAN EVEN IF SHE'S A CALL GIRL. ONLY ALLAH KNOWS WHAT'S IN THEIR HEARTS, AND KNOWS IF THEY ARE BETTER THAN YOU!...Islam never allows to judge someone by their looks or deeds...we muslims never see them in that way but we helps them (not talking about those who r muslims by name but haven't understood their own religious book). You can read any authentic hadith and Qur'an you'll get your answers.
Your Islam is crooked… any religion which treats human as animals and slaves is crooked. And it may that Islam is not that bad but its followers are so wicked and nasty that they have tainted Islam.
You treat non followers as Kafirs… you call for jihad against nonbelievers…. You guys love violence and hate against followers of other sects… you reek of hatred.
Your own Religion by nature ours down women and makes them less than human. It teaches hate for those who aren't Muslims and offers no comfort to those who suffer at the hands of it' "spiritual leaders" Women have no place in Muslim society or its religious beliefs. They are there for two reasons only. 1 to please the man and the second to have kids.
One thing I’m curious about… I notice with a lot of South Asian languages they mix English words in. Are they just multilingual or are they loan words?
Asian people study their subjects in English. English is preferred as it's international language. So some of them can speak it fluently while others use some words while doing conversation in national language "Urdu".
The British ruled the subcontinent india Pakistan Bangladesh for more than 2 centuries in most parts. Ofc the local languages have adapted english words!
it's likely that the Pakistan govt sees them as a threat to state-held moral standards. If this group gets rights, starts to get legitimized in the public eye, what other flaws in their society will they be forced to rethink? @@ilovecairo

What this documentary conveniently decides to not address is the fact that many of the men living this way now started out as "dancing boys" who were kidnapped or sold into the position. Then, when they get too old to be "desirable" they are released but have nowhere to go. They are rejected from society because of their past, and so they form little communities to support one another. Completely understandable, but it shouldn't have happened to them in the first place. It was the sexual assaults and trauma they endured as children that are key contributing factors to they way they live as adults. THIS is why it is called haram, because it starts from a place of evil thoughts and lustful designs, with no respect for the difference between child and adult, or men and women. It is using the body for the opposite of what it is designed and preying upon the most vulnerable to accomplish those dark goals. This is the exact opposite of the love Christ challenged us all to show to one another 😢

Why do parents abandon them as these people were born from these parents who were created this way so they should fault themselves not the transgender. They are born this way.
There is no fault in being transgender or giving birth to them. Shame on you. If you believe in God, then why not understand they are also your god's children? How will God create a mistake?
God didn’t create them this way. God has order and no confusion. Satan is the one that confuses people bout their gender.

It teaches hate for those who aren't Muslims and offers no comfort to those who suffer at the hands of it' "spiritual leaders"
Women have no place in Muslim society or its religious beliefs.

Majority are multi lingual
The British ruled the subcontinent india Pakistan Bangladesh for more than 2 centuries in most parts. Ofc the local languages have adapted english words!

I am wondering if there are any transgender men, or is the term only for transgender women ?
trans woman refers to biological men who act like women and trans men are biological women that act like men.
True. How many women had to dress like men back in the day to work? They can just be themselves without makeup during the week and then dress how they want to at night and in the weekend unless they are scared someone will recognize them.
All of the men featured in this film are men.
@Nutmeg142 that doesn't make any sense, how does that has to do with anything?
