GROWING TIPS:
#Plant the strawberry plants, so their crowns (the place where the stem meets the roots) are just above the soil surface.
#Make hole according to the size of the root ball and put the root ball into the hole and cover the roots up to the crown with the potting mix
#Set the pot in a location that receives at least 5-7 hours of sun each day to ensure plenty of flowers and fruits
#If the sunlight is coming from only one direction, rotate the container every three to four days if possible for the plants to grow evenly.
#Water your strawberries whenever the soil feels dry about 1 inch below the surface, or about twice per week.
#To provide the best environment for fruits to form make sure the soil remains slightly moist-not dry or soggy
#Usually, the berries will be ready to harvest about 4-6 weeks after the plant blossoms.
#Strawberry plants need a lot of water when the flowers are developing. Water adequately, Moisture is incredibly important to strawberries due to their shallow roots.
#During the season, harvest will last up to 8-12 weeks. You should have an abundance of berries, depending on the variety.

Last year i tried growing strawberries for the first time. I got soo many strawberries and would get super excited everytime i would go out to check it once they actually were growing and i was able to pick them. I planted everbearing strawberries from roots. they grew leaves and developed runners that grew to new plants but they all never blossomed or flowered. can you advise what should I do?

Thank you for the informative video. I planted my strawberry sapling more than two months back, the plant is doin great and also developed a lot of flowers and buds..but they are not converting into strawberry. I hand pollinated some of the flowers just to be sure and i feed them a weekly dose of mustard cake and bone meal liquid..still the flowers have not developed into fruits. What can be the reason?
Wait for few more days and make sure they get full sun ...soon they will bear fruit

They do better if the temperature remains in the range of 8-28 degree Celsius
Look specifically for lowland strawberries. They can do well in up to 30 degrees as long as they're under a shade cloth at the hottest time of the day.
@@urbangardeningofficial thanks men. I should try to plant until February. Because that's the last month the peak of northeast moonsoon or amihan. That makes cold wind in manila, in December not much cold here little bit hot but on January to February this were our temperature become cold

Once you produce a harvest, how many years will strawberries come back? I am at a new house and the previous owner had them planted. It was a very fruitful harvest last summer Just curious how many years k should expect it to produce?
Strawberry plants will die back in winter and revive in spring, they will live for 4-6 years and produce strawberries

They will produce runners each year and from them you can make new plants ....as old plants will experience decrease in fruit production after 1-2 years
