I cried happy tears as well hearing his speech coz true victory is to be able to win hearts. And your reaction video shows that that is the singular most amazing universal thing one can achieve , the highest honour.
apart from his genius and brilliance of his film, I love how bong's genuine and sincere remarks towards those great directors that he admires have touched the people worldwide.
This was the best part of the ceremony last night! I had such a meh day at work, so I watched his speech and it brought me so much joy and warmed my heart so much! It sucked that The Irishman walked away empty-handed, but you could tell Marty was so happy for Director Bong!
Surprising! No one did lose, Bong won, Korean films won, Oscar's prestige won, America as a world leading country won, the ART won.
