Hey man. Can this feature be used with physical PS2 discs? I'm buying a BC PS3 and I want to put my PS2 data on it. I know I need a memory card adapter but can I transfer it from the card to a digital file? As I said, they're all physical discs
@@Slysonic thanks so much man. That's really good to know. That means I can buy a stupidly expensive adapter, copy all the files and sell it for more than I got it. Cha Ching 🤑
How do I increase the storage space for the ps2 card? I need about 5 gb of storage to download Persona 3 Fes which I bought on the PSN store. Please help
Storage and Memory are two seperate things so you don't need to worry about that. The PS2 (and PS3s emulating PS2) only allows 8MB cards to be created and thats for storing small bits of data (like save files and game settings). You just have to make sure you have 5GB of storage on your PS3's hard drive to download the game
@@heethanthen706 What model do you have? It could be a PS3 error that typically related to fat PS3s. Also have you checked System Settings > System Information for how much storage you have?
Try taking out the hard drive and putting it back in, helps to knock the dust off and realign anything that might be out of place. Most youtube tutorials can help you do that by searching "replace hard drive fat ps3"
@Nintenblox Shorts My PS3 isn't backward compatible but mine when I did my memory card it said it was one I could do for a ps2 I have the original ps3 model CECHL01 do it means I can play ps2 games or its just locked to ps1 games

Yep, with an adapter the PS3 will allow you to copy data over from a physical card to a virtual card with the Memory Card Utility
@@Slysonic thanks so much man. That's really good to know. That means I can buy a stupidly expensive adapter, copy all the files and sell it for more than I got it. Cha Ching 🤑
@@Slysonic don't suppose you've done a video on that have you?
@@antmangamer1536 I don't, primarily because I don't have one. But it should allow you to press Triangle on a file and copy it over
