Derick is back for our most anticipated film of the year: Tall Girl 2! We're not kidding, we've been so excited to see what they could possibly squeeze out of this concept that warrants an entire other movie. Was it worth it? I mean, yeah. But maybe only for us?

I love that they made Jodi go to “Ruby Bridges High School” as symbolism that she, too, is a brave pioneer in facing unimaginable discrimination and breaking down stereotypes

Some people face poverty, war, and hate crimes, but this girl's tall, guys. She's tall. This is such a realistic depiction of discrimination. The third film should be the "Salem Tall Girl Trials" where everyone above six feet in the tall people cinematic universe gets major pushback from the community for being too powerful.
I don't get why people say this. So because there's all this tragedy in the world, no one is allowed to make lighthearted high school comedies anymore? The fuck?
