Welcome to the mindblowing world of Lovebites. This is only the beginning. Lovebites go a lot harder than Band-Maid. They play different styles of metal: power metal, speed metal, thrash metal ... Some of their songs have more of a hard rock feeling to them and they also have several beautiful ballads. The Wolfpack (that's what the Lovebites fandom is called) loves to see people react to them live. You are in for a lot of greatness. And don't worry, they are certainly having a lot of fun on stage as well. Certain songs like Set the World on Fire require more focus due to their technicality. Interested in a more playful performance from them? Check out Don't Bite the Dust (live) ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html Wanna see what they do with a keyboard and a keytar even? Welcome to the world of wolfpack. Lovebites is the best one metal band right now on the earth. All the musicians on this band is insane and world class talent. Not a gimmick or fake. They effortless. Like the Goddesses. That's great reaction by the way. Thank you so much. Next song from them, try they song from live concert again... "Edge of the world" or they Music video "Glory to the world" Once again thank for your great reaction to Lovebites.
NOTE: Lots of links follow. Not sure why people don't give you links, but that's not a problem here! Congratulations on finding the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miho and Miyako have composed most of their music, in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer, but Midori has also been getting into the act. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. and aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and at this point they’ve taken it to another level. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. They are generally best live. Here are some you should definitely check out: Their most recently posted live clip, “Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html. Other live songs to check out are "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html; “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html Miyako is also a professional-level classical concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude”. Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html; but if it is taken down, you can watch two clips back to back: ua-cam.com/video/hDBjiQI9cyc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/uEsEWISc8Q0/v-deo.html I promise, it’s worth it. For a thrasher with heavy Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ua-cam.com/video/G021aP2ao6Y/v-deo.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while it’s generally true their live clips are best, their MV’s are epic and worth seeing: "When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html "Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!

Don’t worry, her English pronunciation isn’t that great yet, I believe she is working on it though. “Holy War” and “Swan Song” with the Chopin piano intro are two big faves to react to.
right now Glory to The world is on the Lovebites channel only as an Audio from the Ride for Vengeance tour but Holy War, Break the Wall, Rising, and Edge of the world are all favs and some of them do have lyrics in closed caption.
Well I have *Liar,* *Edge of the World* and *Swan Song* uploaded with subtitles, the three songs are good and would be my request then. I'll leave you links, Liar has a logo in the middle of the video so it doesn't get blocked. - Edge of the World : ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html - Swan Song : ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html - Liar : ua-cam.com/video/ChuJG74MWS8/v-deo.html
no live versions of Glory to the world as of yet, it came out after pandemic, should be a live version soon as it is in the set from this tour and they just released the DVD, waiting for my copy now, these ladies are very talented, Asami's pronunciations and enunciations are a little hard at first to understand, sometimes CC helps
With your background try Swan Song with Chopin piano Etude intro LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html) where Miyako(Dark hair guitarist/pianist) mixed Romantic masters and metal into an amazing masterpiece. This band defies genres and plays everything to Flawless Perfection especially LIVE. They are more Power, Speed, Thrash, Prog, Ballads and classical piano where as band Maid who are awesome are really Rock (with some Metal/Punk influences). Lovebites is 80's Metal glory elevated to a whole new level with world class musicians who are as tight and in sync as any band LIVE out there. Petite models who wear white dresses and high heels on stage to stand out and be seen easier. Asami/vocals at 4' 10" is an ex-ballerina and backup RnB/Jazz/Soul/Gospel singer who never sang metal till she joined the band. She sings in English but her annunciation is hard at times especially at these speeds. Empty Daydream LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html) will show off that vocal range much better (starts as a ballad). The dual guitars are a clinic in almost every song and while polar opposites they harmonize at speeds that are insane especially LIVE. Haruna/drums at 4' 9" needs the kit arranged special to be able to play but once she starts she would Kai of Nightwish a real run for his money with her double bass!!! Another song with closed captions is Rising LIVE (ua-cam.com/video/5LT-WhFGsPE/v-deo.html) with their usual uplifting lyrics and great musicianship.
they are something else. five sophisticated women playing serious metal (power, thrash, symphonic ....) with positive lyrics. you started with a real thrasher: for a bit slower I suggest epilogue, empty daydream, swan song (with the chopin intro) and edge of the world, all live (they have only good songs, not even one filler). I wonder how I would sound, If I´d sing in japanese. thank you for reacting to this fantastic band.
Totally concur with fellow commentators suggesting 'Swansong' but it must have the Chopin Piano opening because there is a version that doesn't include it - also 'Holy War' and both of the above come from the same concert which believe is called ' Zepp Divercity, Tokyo'. You'll definitely appreciate the Piano intro, it is a wonder to behold! I just realised that I've been one of your subs for quite a while (mad for Nightwish! 😃 ) but I think this is the first comment I've made! Take care of yourself.
@@lianshadowmaker7834 no, it's just a little joke - I am from London not far from the Thames and the guys were wondering if it were possible to change my username to 'Honorary Thamesman' - so I did, but haven't changed it back yet! Best wishes Lian. 😃
I never recommend this song to someone who has never heard LOVEBITES before. They can do so many different styles, so you can't judge them from only 1 or 2 songs. Go check out the live version for the song "Epilogue". You will be amazed what they can do.
She can be hard to understand due in part to her accent, and in part to her vibrato. On their slower, more ballady songs, where she can sing more slowly, she is much easier to understand. Interestingly, when she speaks English in interviews, her spoken English is better than her sung English. Possibly that is because singing and speaking come from different parts of the brain (that's why some stroke victims can't speak clearly, but can sing clearly).
Produced by Steve Jacobs, Mixed by Miko Karmila, Mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios (Sabaton, Nightwish,Stratovarius....) The first Nightwish live "from wishes to eternity" 2001 and the last one "Decades" are also mastered by Mika Jussila .... If you prefer a song with intro piano Rachmaninov : empty daydream ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html or Chopin : Swan song ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html Nightwish fan since Tarja, Anette, and Floor... I don't count anymore CD,DVD, Blu-rays. Wolfpack france
You have pretty teeth 😊 I don’t understand the lyrics to this song, maybe a warrior going to battle- preparing for war, etc? LOVEBITES does write some really great lyrical content songs if that’s interesting. They have relationship break-up songs, self affirmation songs, songs about Norse gods and Viking traditions, and songs about inner morality battles. I really dig their songwriting and musical score applications. They perform excellent live, since you like that, but in your personal time, if you really like the band, you should check out songs that no live performance exists for. 95% of their songs are available on their channel to listen to on their YT channel. Songs like “Inspire” from Awakening from Abyss, and “Mastermind 01” from Clockwork Immortality are excellent songs that no production live version exists for. I don’t think they have ever performed Mastermind 01 in concert- but wow those lyrics are for the world today!!! Happy days in Many ways to you!!
Great band. One of the best all female Japanese rock bands and they sing in English not that I understand a word.Together with Band Maid, Nemophila and Gacharic Spin who all sing mainly in Japanese so you're not straining to understand them but enjoying the sound. Try live version of Mindset. ua-cam.com/video/lQFBwxoEnmg/v-deo.html
This song not represent Asami voice in my opinion, Try with Holy War, Swan Song, Edge Of The World. Their audio quality always great, because they have same sounds enginer who work in Nighwish.
A pity, I think you are not ready for this type of music. Lovebites are eaten every morning for breakfast groups like Band Maid. They are best at everything. They are Lovebites and they play Heavy Metal. You are still locked in your Nightwish world.
and this is why Lovebites still has less than 100K subscribers on youtube, because of dumbass fans trying to gatekeep the band from people. You have no idea that its fans like you killing the band, the band relies on people buying their albums, seeing them in concert, concerts being one of their biggest money makers, which they haven't been able to do because of covid. Financially they are struggling, they were lucky to even get to make "Heavy Metal Never Dies" It was cancelled previous, then allowed to be rescheduled. And here you are trying to get costanza to stop reacting to them and exposing their music to 4K subscribers.
Hello dear, what is this about ?, not giving an opinion ?, having no criteria ?, agreeing with the reactor and applauding it ?. If you want this to be a financial platform for groups, I think you are wrong. If you don't believe in debate or disagreement, You tube is not for you. I'll say what I think even if you don't like it. you are not going to give a good fan or bad fan card. A hug Chritophe.
@@LALEDOLENT What did she say or do that was wrong? Where did the evil reactor touch you? The fact that you don't seem to understand how youtube is used makes you look pretty bad here. If lovebites aren't touring, and nobody is reacting to them, how are they supposed to expose people to their music to increase record sales? I would love to hear that smooth brain reasoning.
@@christopherlidster3918 This is really a dialogue that leads nowhere, that you do not understand that I, after seeing the reaction, can give my opinion? I have not done anything else, but you insist on finances. I'm not going to go into that topic, I only expose my musical criteria, if you don't like it, I'm sorry. For my part, this topic is closed, I will continue saying what I think. Good evening Christophe, I really mean it, you sure are a good guy.
What is actually wrong with you? I watched the entire reaction, I didn't hear her say anything that was offensive at all. Saying she can't understand what she is saying is not a negative mark against the band, I couldn't understand what she was saying when I first listened to them, it took me awhile before I could. Being a bad fan like this hurts the band, we want reactors to keep watching lovebites, you are not the gatekeeper of lovebites music.
@@Actkqk3 She was smiling through a ton of the parts, have you not seen any of her reactions before? And attacking a reactor does what exactly to help Lovebites reach more viewers?
LOVEBITES - Set The World On Fire lyrics:
The blue moon colors the blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and a fearless smile
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell
Distorted madness is sneering
Incompetent, cowardly fools
A pitiful and painful punishment
It’s you who will be sacrificed
ON FIRE
Dressed in an armor of steel
ON FIRE
If I’m burned again and again
I’ll rise up from the Gates of Hell
The blue moon colors blaze
Stabbing myself with the thunder
The predetermined imitation
An emotionless and fearless smile
Flowing blood and crimson blade
Devastated resolution
Heat haze is waving far away
Who’s going to be sacrificed?
ON FIRE
Just like a falling flower
ON FIRE
Until this body rots away
Burning down to the Gates of Hell

no live versions of Glory to the world as of yet, it came out after pandemic, should be a live version soon as it is in the set from this tour and they just released the DVD, waiting for my copy now, these ladies are very talented, Asami's pronunciations and enunciations are a little hard at first to understand, sometimes CC helps
For you something slow: Chopin etude+Swan song or Edge of the World or Epilogue!
Take care of yourself.
are you the same guy on channel The Thamesmen?

Produced by Steve Jacobs, Mixed by Miko Karmila, Mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios (Sabaton, Nightwish,Stratovarius....)
The first Nightwish live "from wishes to eternity" 2001 and the last one "Decades" are also mastered by Mika Jussila ....
If you prefer a song with intro piano Rachmaninov : empty daydream ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html
or Chopin : Swan song ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html
Nightwish fan since Tarja, Anette, and Floor... I don't count anymore CD,DVD, Blu-rays.

You have pretty teeth 😊
I don’t understand the lyrics to this song, maybe a warrior going to battle- preparing for war, etc?
Glory To The World, When Destinies Align official MV has lyric

@@LALEDOLENT so there was nothing she did wrong, you just felt like being an asshole, got it.
Please, stop there. Do Band-Maid, Nightwish, etc... Lovebites is not for you.
@@christopherlidster3918 Her face says it all... What's wrong with you that you can't see?
@@Actkqk3 She was smiling through a ton of the parts, have you not seen any of her reactions before? And attacking a reactor does what exactly to help Lovebites reach more viewers?
@@christopherlidster3918 Ok, you win, I will not argue with a blind. Bye, have a nice day.
