Dimash always treats others very touchingly and with respect. Very modest, tactful and incredibly well-mannered!!! Recently saw a video from his very elderly fan. She is 87 years old, she is from New Zealand.😳. For the last few years, she has hardly left the house and mainly lay and sat. Old age and the exacerbation of many diseases did not allow her to move much! She herself told; Once, completely by chance, she heard an incredible voice while sitting in the kitchen. In another room, UA-cam was on and different music was constantly playing. She gathered her strength and went to watch quickly. And that's it, since then she began to learn about Dimash and listen to everything that was on the air. She said that when Dimash sang, she seemed to breathe in clean air and began to feel that she was getting easier and easier. The pain decreased time after time. After a month of listening to Dimash, she herself went to see a doctor. The doctor was amazed by the results of the tests and examination. He started asking what she was taking! 😅 A few years later, she flew to Dimash's concert herself. 30 hours of flight time! At her age! 😳 And then she went to several more. Then she decided to fly to Kazakhstan herself to see where Dimash was born and studied. Somehow, Dimash's parents found out about her and invited her to visit their home. And then the most interesting thing happened. As she told us; A gorgeous table was set, a lot of national dishes and all of Dimash's relatives were around. They all sat down at the table. And suddenly Dimash enters on his shoulder with a towel and a small basin and a jug in his hands. And he begins to approach everyone at the table and, putting a basin under him, pours water on their hands and gives them towels to wipe them off. 😮😂 She was speechless and sat with her mouth open. Her idol! The magical voice of the planet! Gathering huge stadiums of spectators!!! For every look of which fans were ready to do anything! And he modestly, with a smile and tact, approaches each guest and bends down to wash their hands with water! 😮😮😮😂😂😂 Because that's how it's supposed to be, it's a tradition, that's the order in families in Kazakhstan. The youngest must take care of the guests at the table (probably his brother was in another place that day).. That's our Dimash!

Dimash sings from another place in time.. and for those of us who know him well.. every performance is yet another display of his prowess and mastery of notes for us to taste with our hearing pallet and digest with delicious delight. His notes are precious and eternal, with power and meaning that moves mountains and parts seas.. and yet with intimation that heals and caresses our hearts and our souls with kindness and love. Take him in and love him as I do.. for there will not be another like him in our lifetime.
There is only one Dimash.. watch him and admire him for what and who he is.. and he will take you to a better place. Join us.. we are Dimash Dears.

He inspires those to seek out the good in mankind with a ray of hope. It is rare that a profound virtuoso and a master performer can captivate multinational audiences. He is once in a lifetime phenom that is giving to humanity. Thank you for keeping it together reviewing this awesome talent. I hope the Dears make your day.

Yes his voice is really stunning in this one. ❤
On the other hand his voice is stunning in any kind of range. And I couldn’t pick wich I like more. Every technique and part of his range he uses gives us different things to admire and fall in love with. 😊🥰
His slower songs give us time to hear the nuances in his dynamic approach to singing a lot more than the fast switches.
So we have more time to notice and reflect on what he did. And what he does with the middle notes is just as awe inspiring as the melismas, growls and whistles. ❤😊
Thank your for your wonderful reaction. I can totally relate to the difficulty of finding the right words to describe his voice and the feelings it evokes. 😅❤

Three of my favourites where Dimash doesn’t do extreme notes are Quaragym-ai, gorgeous. It’s a tribute to his beloved college mentor who died from covid. Amanat, from his digital concert, like a prayer to his country, and Marigolds, which is about a man remembering th3 flowers his mother use to plant. It’s at the Kiev concert. Simply exquisite. His mother is in tears in the audience.

The word you're searching for is 'SHOOK'. Dimash's voice leaves people lost for words to describe the feeling. His voice leaves your soul shook. There is something special about his ability to touch you in ways you never thought possible just by singing. Psychologists in Europe and Asia have stated that his songs have managed to cure depression, mental conditions, snap some patients out of their stagnant state. They are doing research into his music to find out how his voice affects the human psyche.
And you are correct, his natural voice is as amazing as his range. It is rich in tonality, emotional beyond description, and layered in resonance and harmony. When he sings Ikanaide, or the Chinese version, Autumn Strong, it makes people cry openly from the emotional beauty and feelings it stirs inside.

Cape Town Dear: I only discovered Dimash a few weeks ago, and I haven’t stopped watching his UA-cam Channel and shared it with my circles. I love the commentary of professional singers and voice coaches on Dimash’s vocals. He sings form his heart and soul with Raw Emotion. Dimash doesn't just sing; he feels the music and projects his emotions to the listener. His performances are full of emotion and passion, and you can hear and experience this in every note or octave he hits in each register. Whether it's joy, pain, love, or hope, Dimash connects with the story behind each song, he connects with your soul and transmits it from soul to soul. Dimash is otherworldly, in my 64 years on this planet I have never experienced and felt the emotions like I do when I hear his voice. His deep emotional connection with each performance is why it feels so personal and unforgettable. Dimash's voice spans an impressive 8 octaves (the whistle that he did a few years ago is off the music scale) allowing him to reach notes that are unique, rare, ethereal, and otherworldly. He is a true Crystal Child (google crystal children) and angelic, no other explanation for Dimash’s GENIUS, he is a PRODIGY and PHENOMENON.

Maybe the word you were looking for when describing how he sounds on Ikanaide was “intimate?” I’m not sure. What I do know is that many times when I hear this song, it brings tears to my eyes. It’s just so incredibly emotional and heartbreaking because you really feel that *he* is heartbroken. You are definitely right about him being a great performer too. The weird thing is I’ve read a few times on different “singer” forums (Reddit, for one) people fairly often say that he isn’t a good performer - that he is “cold” and “unemotional.” I want to know how those *so-called experts* arrive at such a ludicrous conclusion. *Shaking my head.* Jealousy, perhaps? I enjoyed your reaction. We all love seeing reactors respond positively to Dimash’s beautiful singing. He’s one of a kind. BTW have you watched his latest video “Kieli Meken?” Just an FYI - be sure to watch the end credits on that one! It’s an awesome video and song.

    Hullo,
That half-step legato undulation (with the fade) on the beginning of the second verse? YOU can do this, even if you don't possess Dimash's stunning dynamic control! I swear it's true; if I can do it, you certainly can...
Singing into a uni-directional mic, just gradually turn your head off-axis for a very nice fade in the volume. This way, you can accomplish the technique live and give a chill of your very own. lol
Have fun wherever you find it, and enjoy some more Dimash whenever you can!

If you want to hear more of his chest voice, try Samaltau from the 2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival. It was live streamed from his home studio because of the pandemic. It’s about a young Kazakh soldier conscripted into the Russian imperial army. He laments being forced to leave his beloved homeland and worries if he will ever see his elderly parents again. It’s pretty stripped back without any vocal fireworks, but it’s very beautiful and powerful. One of my absolute favorites.

For more of his "normal" voice, I suggest his song called "OMIR", the version that he performs with his brother Mansur, only guitar and piano (this song Dimash composed himself as a gift for dears, the only song Dimash wrote the lyrics too). And Qaraǵym-aı (2020), only his voice and a piano. (This song is very emotive, the composer was his teacher and had died of covid. This was a tribute.) Hug from Brazil!
