I used CV axle grease. Looked to be about the same consistency as the stuff you used. There are also lots of suggestions for John Deer "Corn head Grease"

Wher did you get that semi 00 fluid? The test will tell if it leaks out your seals. It looks thin enough to reach up to the upper king pin.
