Hello Scott your videos have been very helpful with my navy Jeep restoration ,I wanted to ask you if you have heard of a willys scout car ( on my id tag that mounts to the chassis the id tag is stamped( JEEP willys scout car mb 372 7** willys overland motor inc Toledo Ohio USA )am curious if you have seen these tags cheer daniel west oz

Yes, that is how the frame is tagged.
I find it kind of amusing, “scout car” .
The nomenclature plates say “1/4 Ton Truck”.
If you google, Willys Scout Car Tag, you will find a ton of info on the tags. A lot on G503 Forum as well.

All the chassis tags I have looked at locally just have a number stamped onto there little silver tag near the radiator ( in the local Jeep club ) mine is the only tag with all that info stamped on it / thanks for your info
