great vid .. We so appreciate the part numbers added...a major help. Could you do a assembly vid as a part 2. I find it easy to take apart but scratch my head a lot on the assembly😀.
In the future. I have the footage. We originally wanted to have a professional shop that we use show and tell. A US veteran who is an absolute expert. It will happen.
Hello Scott your videos have been very helpful with my navy Jeep restoration ,I wanted to ask you if you have heard of a willys scout car ( on my id tag that mounts to the chassis the id tag is stamped( JEEP willys scout car mb 372 7** willys overland motor inc Toledo Ohio USA )am curious if you have seen these tags cheer daniel west oz
Yes, that is how the frame is tagged. I find it kind of amusing, “scout car” . The nomenclature plates say “1/4 Ton Truck”. If you google, Willys Scout Car Tag, you will find a ton of info on the tags. A lot on G503 Forum as well. 👍👍👍👍
All the chassis tags I have looked at locally just have a number stamped onto there little silver tag near the radiator ( in the local Jeep club ) mine is the only tag with all that info stamped on it / thanks for your info
Daniel ostle That’s very interesting. I will have to look into this subject more myself. Always something more to learn. Do you have any pics of the tags by the radiator?
Outstanding tutorial! I wish all tutorials on UA-cam were this well produced.
i know it's kinda off topic but does anyone know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Amos Major Try flixzone. Just google for it :)
Thank you for telling me everything in detail :) I'm from Russia

Working on it my friend. I have so much footage to edit and post👍
Great video! Are you going to be filming an assembly version? I’m keen to see how you work out how many shims to use.
Scott, we would love to see a rebuild/ install video for the front axle! Seems like there are many details that I would like to see on the rebuild.
In the future. I have the footage.

Can you do rear disassembly one day? It’s pretty similar but would be helpful 👍🏼
I would say yes, if you kept at it, and didn’t run into anything, like frozen stubborn bolts.👍
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing.
A great help to me with my resto project 👏

Just got myself a 43 MB project myself comes with the free wheeling hubs on the front axle is it a big job changing them to look correct for wartime?
