My wife still has your 97 pro model , long story but it was given to her by Steve Carlton back when she was on UCF ski team to use in the trick event !
I would have to be a really good setup with the right height dock, good length for some speed, and lots of really good pumping. Just gotta find the right spot
Doesn't make a massive difference but this Shuttle works well for any size rider. I've taught riders your size on it without any problems and all the way down to my 13 year old daughter.
In the wake (get it lol) of the foiling craze starting, it would be awesome to cover safety/basics. I have been riding a bit and seeing all sort of things, wondering if I could send you some ideas and if you might be interested in covering foiling safety / beginners basics with your audience? I left a comment on a recent video from Lift Foils and I saw a few things looked over that I think are important for folks to understand when starting or coaching others on the foil....
@@Shaun.Murray schweet! I will re-post my comment I left on Grubbs beginner Lift Foil video here too 1. Starting to learn to foil on the second or third wave with a longer rope is farrrr easier (and safer IMO) than learning on the front wave, it is also safer (again). One of the hardest things folks have when learning is how to control their forward speed down the wake, avoid crashing into the boat by starting further back. 2. Hold onto the rope longer when falling (not too long to hurt your arm, but just a bit to get your body away from the foil), which often pulls you away from the foil and board and into safety 3. As you progress further on the water and start riding further back, wear bright colors so other boaters can more easily see you as a rider. 4. Impact Vests are not considered 'floatation', CGA is and will always be more reliable floatation no matter the rider size and experience. 5. Having a good base of one of the following ~ wake surfing , wakeboarding, or something should be considered lowest criteria for entry to this sport for safety purposes. IMO. Fly on! but safe
2 Videos in 1 day!? What a time to be alive! Thanks Shaun!
Thanks for noticing Rotimer! I wanted people to have both of these so they have the tools to start 👊🏼

Can you make a video of you dock starting with the booster and shuttle setup? I can’t seem to do it and am wondering if you can!

going to have to try one out..
Yessur!
I haven't seen anyone address what board you should ride for your weight. Is rider build not a factor in choosing a Hyperlite board? Im 6'2'' 210 lbs

Also...where can we get those sweet Nautique board decals????
Good question@@nickjames80 but they're actually team rider stickers that they give just to the team athletes. 😞

Murray edition foil inbound?!
The Hyperlite Shuttle board I show in this video is a deck I worked on w Hyperlite. No foil yet though. Maybe in the future?
