First time seeing your channel and literally cried as you talked about Garrett. My husband and I have a son in wheelchair and just to see you support and care for him makes my heart warm. You truly are a beautiful person inside and out.

Hey don't worry about it God is Great and as long as you tell him he can do anything and not baby him because of his disability he'll be fine I know it's hard and you wonder why God gives his strongest Warriors the hardest battles because he knows you will prevail your son will find a beautiful wife and have lots of kids in Jesus name...God bless and know King Jesus is in control. .
Even though I'm sure with the hundreds of comments on here, you'll probably never see this, but I just felt so moved by this video that I had to say thank you for sharing this new part of your life! I used to be very into fitness and a healthy, balanced life. Up until a car accident a few years ago that completely turned my life upside down. It's a very long story, but right now I am in a wheel chair most of the time. I am not paralyzed, and am very grateful for the capabilities I do still have, but I now suffer from neurological damage that, among many other problems, makes it very difficult- some days impossible- to stand without passing out. Up until this past year, I was doing pretty well with staying positive and fighting to get better, despite the fact that there is no cure for my conditions. But life, as it often does, decided to throw more than a few curveballs and I've been really lost and beaten down. Seeing this video actually brought me to tears and relit a fire inside me to push on again, harder than ever. I'm ready to 'play the hand I was dealt' again... Terrible joke, but appropriate!! lol 😂 anyyyywayyyy... Just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing and I wish you both so much happiness and love and learning and all the good there is in life! 💖

Us disabled men need more women like you in the world. You can't imagine how many women see a chair and automatically stop themselves or hold back from feeling. For seeing the man past the chair. A lot of us are amazing men, know how to be great partners and still live life to the fullest. It is painful when we see great women settle for less than they deserve emotionally, just because of physicalities. Bless you both, and cheers to a healthy and loving future.

My boyfriend's in a wheelchair we've been dating now for only a month and a half and I absolutely adore him we're trying to figure out how to close the distance gaps from Texas to California so we can start a life and building memories together. Some women can't handle disabled person to care they don't have the patience. Where is me on the other hand find it incredibly worth it!
FADeD Inc. Thank you for your comment. You have opened my eyes to something I have done subconsciously. I automatically hold back feelings when I see people in a wheel chair. I'm never sure how to interact. I want to be kind and friendly but I don't want them to think I'm staring or being rude so I just shut down. I didn't realize I was doing that until now. I will be more aware of that in the future. Thank you for opening my eyes!

yes you so right...life its so unpredictable....my fiancee died in motorbike accident 7 months ago....my world ended without him....but I am still alivie learning to live again. We should appreciated what we got....life is sooo unfair! You are a amazing person and good luck!!!

hey girl I just want to tell you my story I met my husband 10 years ago and he also is on the wheelchair .he have a car accident 27 years ago. we got married 6 years ago I'm the most happy person on the planet because he treat me like a princess.I have to say that was the best decision in my life .I give him a chance and space in my heart.

This is amazing. There aren't that many people who would look passed a person's disability and see them for who they really are. Although his disability is a huge part of your relationship, it can't and will never compare to the way he makes you feel, which to me is the most important thing. We have all searched for love in the wrong places because we search for this ideal that really isn't right for us and then BAM, someone unexpected walks into your life and not in a million years did you think you would adore and be head of heels in love with that person. God definitely sent him to you to teach you what's important - kindness, happiness, contentment, gratuity etc. This got me a little bit emotional and I am so happy that you've both found eachother . Keep inspiring us Jessica, you're also an amazing human being.
I am so glad you decided to share this!! Forget the instagram models, this is what true fitness inspiration is and what fitness is all about! Definitely puts things into perspective, when we complain about going to the gym or make excuses, we should really be thinking how lucky we are to be capable to do so. I hope you do keep sharing his story, and "when you know, you know" is so true, I said that within the first week of meeting my boyfriend and 4 years later still rings true!! 💜
I am in tears watching this video. I am forever grateful that you both chose each other. You can look at him and tell he is an angel. Keep him close and hold on to him tight! It will not always be easy for him but i promise it will be worth it. My mother is a quadriplegic and i watch her and she motivates me so much to move my body and to be very appreciative of the functions of my limbs but she NEVER lets this world get her down and on the few days that she does i remind her that she was chosen for a special assignment here on earth. Love seeing you two together!!!!

My dad is in a wheelchair too, my mom only knows him in a wheelchair and they are married for 28 years now :) and they got me! haha. All the best for the future!
I just heard the part about his injury and it's basically the same as my dad, although my dad has less hand function than your boyfriend. Just wanted to say that you don't have to be scared for hate comments because it IS possible to live a happy life. It's just different than "normal" but if you accept that it's fine :)

My fiance and I have been together for 16 years.....9 years ago he was in a car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down but he keeps going he is one of the strongest people I know so thank u for this video...we need to shed more light on parapelegics and there struggles and how they over come so much

I work with a man who has cochlear implants. He loves and lives life to the fullest. He's in a band. Is married. Has put his grown son through university. He's amazing and has a cochlear implant on one side. It doesn't stop him and just as long as u do not treat your sons implant(s) as a disability than he will thrive and nothing can stop him. It's all in the parents approach and attitude.
Both my wonderful parents are half deaf. They get along just great and even joke that their hearing loss has helped their marriage. They claim they can rant and the other won't hear so won't argue back. Haha. I'm also deaf and my boyfriend just learnt how to best communicate. I'm sure your son will find a wonderful partner because his mama will show him he deserves that.

As a paraplegic (T3-4 Complete) it definitely takes a strong person to genuinely want to be with a person with a spinal cord injury. It's not even about the person, it's the incontinence, no sensation, non sexual ability that's the tough part for the person without a disability to accept. I personally live a normal life but it's definitely an eye opner for people

thats exactly what i worry about, dealing with incontinence (i call it the unmentionables) and lack of sensation just makes me feel bad for them that they cant please me properly and i cant please them properly, sexually speaking

My husband of 27 years has spina bifida and we live a pretty normal life. Yes there are some adjusts that have to be made, but just remember to treat him as a normal person, not someone who is unable to do everything.
My mother has the same condition and she and my father have been together since she was sixteen. She is now 50.

I think this so sweet as someone who has had 12 surgeries on my right leg and sometimes after I over do it in the gym my knee gets stiff and have a limp i feel self conscious about it lately and sometimes I think no one will truly love me again because of what I've been through . This is encouraging and love is love the people that went through hard times have a completely different outlook on life . ❤️❤️

Found this channel as one of my recommended and boy am I glad I did. My sister was in a horrific csr accident when she was 15 but thank the Lord she came out of it. She is now an amputee and is so doing so much in her life. Looking forward to watching and keeping up with you and your life.

People with disabilities are normal as everybody else. I have Cerebral Palsy and nonverbal, but I'm an author, a UA-camr, a public speaker, and computer programmer. If you don't trust me, just watch my videos. I edit my own videos myself.

We can achieve anything if we put our mind to it , I have metals all over my legs and I was bullied in Toronto gyms , but I still bodybuild and I never quite , I felt like these bullies wanted me dead , so I commit suicide or something , I still face this behaviour even from proffesours at university who knew about this incident , I was being video recorded and posted on social media and stories Mekong fun of my body by mostly white boys and Asian too including blacks , also lots of females who were envious were apart of this . It was hell but I made it with my Beyoncé face and flo jo body , I look at myself in the mirror and I can totally see why they hate !God has my back , I been through a lot in this life “ no weapon formed against me shall prosper”!

I can relate to that... my husband tells me "I love you" more than 10 times a day lol... people always says that we should not use those words very often and lightly but it is very important for us. He treats me like a Queen even when we are married already. That is TRUE LOVE !

I have CP and to see this is really inspiring to see him successful in business, back the gym and in a happy relationship I actually really needed to see this today.
I also have cp and I'm going on 31 and have two kids that are my world ofcourse I. Couldn't carry full term but I don't let it get in the way.

Jessica, you probably won’t see this...but I’m still going to write it. This video is so magical and inspiring. I have two younger sisters in wheelchairs and I know how hard the “wheelchair” life is and what kind of care and compassion it requires. GG is so awesome and it makes a whole new outlook to me! I can tell by the video how much you truly care for one another, it’s a beautiful thing! Social media can be very harsh and I applaud you for bringing this relationship to it. This relationship shows people that love has no bounds! Love isn’t exterior. This is just truly inspiring! I look forward to your vlogs now!
