Months went by and I’ve been accumulating them but not quite recalled why. Now I remember!! The series sounds amazing. Empire in Black & Gold is going onto my June TBR. Again, thank you!

Jokes aside I am curious about this series. I didn’t love children of time but I did like dogs of war so I am mixed on this authors work.
lol actually my name is Harold. Of course.
Children of time is radically different from this. This man has so many different flavors of work he needs to open his own ice cream book shop.
I have yet to read Dog of War yet so I can’t say what it’s super similar to in terms of his body of work, but anything is more character focused than Children of Time, so if it’s that, then this series and something like Guns of the Dawn might appeal to you
