Man, driving that car for the first time must have been so bitter sweet. How scared were you to drive it? I told my buddy the first time I drive my ae86, we are going out for a full day photoshoot. That way, if I wreck it I'll at least have the photos! hahaha Congrats on the milestone, this car really makes me want to go beams!.....hmmmmmmmm
Totally hitting these guys up for a tune, thank you SOOO MUCH for posting their info. I've been stressing trying to find someone who can do my Beams swapped 2002 in the East Bay.
It sound like your Innovative Wideband problem is the same one I had. My gauge was reading 0.5 AFR leaner than the ECU. It turned out the reading on the gauge was right and the ECU was wrong. I ended up grounding the gauge and the ECU to the chassis as well as the sensor ground. That got the reading closer but I still had to build a custom calibration file for the ECU to get it to read the proper AFR values.
Had to close papa Tommy's vid for this one Eric. My favorite build so far. You had to move on from the fd and the Miatas and you did great. Sold my totaled Na8 roadster after 5 years rebuilding it and making it look almost the same like your black one. Now spending some quality time with a bugeye Sti (pros of living in Europe) but it doesn't feel the same. What made you chose the Ae86 among other cars? You could easily get a 240z or an R32?
This thing deserves a $9,000 detail
it didn't even feel like 6 months, good shit Eric. Always coming through with the quality. Cant wait to see you drive that beast!
Video starts at 0:00 thank me later
Love your build Eric, it turned out to be a beautiful work of art and sounds amazing.

Your whip is gangster as fuck Eric. Kinda gives the same feel as your RX7 in a way. Too bad it doesnt have VTEC =[

So wheres the hookup on the smog bro? Lol
congrats on the build, are you on club4AG?
Left your tires stickers on?!?!? Cmon Eric, I expect better
Great seeing it on the road though. Do you by chance have any more of those convex Ganador lenses? Think it's about time I fix my limited visibility.
Only nerds say "ganador".
Well, guess I'm a nerd, probably a ricer too since they're faux carbon
I'm just kidding, cause tommy f yeah always talks about them, and when he says it, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. Sorry, it triggered me.
What numbers did it make?
What is that clanking sound when the car is cranking over?
Corner Balanced oh ok, I have been curious about that since the first crank. Awesome build btw, I enjoyed follow it the whole way!
@@joshuaswisher5606 it looks like his response is gone. What did he say makes it do that?
@@collinchapman5525 I believe it's the twin disk clutch if I remember correctly. After hearing more cars with twin disks, they all sound like that
@@joshuaswisher5606 Thank you so much! I was just really curious. Man you replied quick on a year old comment!
@@collinchapman5525 That's exactly how I was lol
