Hey guys! Oops, hadn't posted an update here. I’m super happy to share that I got to compose the music of several bard songs for Elder Scrolls Online! I can finally say it! hehe I recorded the songs, too, so some of you already heard them in the Beta. I’m sorry I couldn’t speak of that publicly! Thank you for all the support that led to this. I always stop by the bards voiced by Malukah! Before I even knew who Malukah was, back when I first started playing, I ran across a bard outside the wayshrine in Skywatch with the most amazing voice. I think I sat and listened to her for at least half an hour 🥰🥰
We tilled Skyrim's ground despite frozen toil. We tended the Kuama beneath Morrowind's soil. We hunted the Wamasu in Blackmarsh's glades. We three hearts had no need for blades. Then they came from the seas folded steel in their hands. They burned down our homes and ravaged our lands. Akaviri brought nothing but bloodshed and lies, our families were slain before our eyes. With three separate people they shared a cruel joke. A choice between death or the yoke. But then our three people knew what must be done, to end the oppression our three became one! Forged by war, the Ebonheart rose and drove the Akaviri back to the sea! When the enemies begged for the mercey they lacked, three voices as one shouted Blood for the Pact! The Dunmar brought to the coming battle a score of skilled battle hardened spell blades and sorcerers. The Argonians brought deadly and ruthless assassin's. The Nords brought the finest warriors with a score of skilled bards. Mocked at first for bringing bards, they invited all to attend a gathering. Around a strong fire with all in attendance the bards sang of the Pact. The proud Dunmar were in tears. The Argonians willingly knelt. The Nords swore should any here die, they would save them a place in Sovngard.

It really puts the image of battle into one's mind. The Ebonheart Pact takes crap from nobody. Malukah, you're pretty great. You're not only a singer, but also a poet and a storyteller.

@@justanothersadperson5129 It's about the second Akaviri invasion of north-eastern Tamriel during the Second Era, which prompted the Nords of Skyrim and the Dunmer and Argonians of greater Morrowind to form the Ebonheart Pact. United, they drove the Kamali and their King-General Ada'Soom Dir-Kamal back into the sea, in which they drowned by the thousands.
There was a huge party in Tamriel and a lot of people attended. The Nords brought the beer, the Dark Elves brought snacks, and the Argonians brought the music...but the Akaviri brought nothing but bloodshed and lies...
Come here, even after almost ten years of first hearing this song because it reminds me of my brothers and I. The bond we have, the adventures we went on. The world was our oyster.
I'm literally trying to hold back tears right now, over a fictional war that never actually happened. That's how amazing this song is, bravo Malukah, bravo.
No matter how many times I hear this, even 8 years later, it still gives me goosebumps. The story it paints and the emotion that flows in her voice, it makes you feel as if you have been part of this legendary tale, of an alliance, forged from blood, sweat and tears. It takes incredible skill to tell a story through song and at the same time combine emotion into it. 11/10
So, in the end, Bethesda asked you some songs. It's great, i'm really glad for you, Malukah. All those hours working on your fan songs, and finally, a studio acknowledge your work and dedication. I seriously want to thank all Elder Scrolls games and Malukah for giving us such beautiful music, a lore, and a beautiful imaginary land which doesn't exist but always lives within us.
Valenwood will always be where my heart lies. I just love how expansive TES universe is, with it's lore, history, races, and even political struggles, which are somehow a million times more appealing than the same struggles in reality. I love that TES can easily be a home for any kind of gamer. You can truly be yourself in these games, and it is my entire 2nd life. If I didn't have my husband and child to worry about, I would probably spend all of my time drowning in TES universe. I LOVE it. THANK YOU SO MUCH BETHESDA and THANK YOU MALUKAH for making and remaking such beautiful and powerful music to accompany this entire other life of mine!
So I loved this song from the moment I heard it. But I didn't play ESO till this month. I . Did . not . Know . Malukah was actually in the game! I figured this was a cover of a song in it.
I don't even know how long I've been listening this song anymore. Maybe 4 years or maybe more, but even so, I still get those goosebumps throughout my whole body every time I listen you singing this music. And sometimes I use to cry when I think about the families being killed before the eyes of Innocent people

She is one of the female bard voices in ESO (I think there are two or three of them or were before Summerset was released, which I *think* introduced a new voice.)
Malukah, I get so emotional when I hear you sing this song. I didn't play Elder Scrolls Online, but it triggers something deep in my soul; a long forgotten memory. When I write stories, it's that deep emotional stirring that I long to put to words and you do so beautifully. Thank you for sharing this with us! It's still one of my favorite songs of yours.

"BLOOD FOR THE PACT!" always gives me chills. Imagine being with a group of soldiers trying to surrender and then you hear the enemies shout that.
In that moment, the Akaviri knew: "We messed up, BAD."
It makes it even better when you choose the Ebonheart Pact on ESO. Then you genuinely are part of the Pact 🔥🔥🔥

I'd say it's more inspiring as these 3 races, dunmmer, argonian, and nord, rose to fight a common enemy despite hating each other's guts.

Valenwood will always be where my heart lies. I just love how expansive TES universe is, with it's lore, history, races, and even political struggles, which are somehow a million times more appealing than the same struggles in reality. I love that TES can easily be a home for any kind of gamer. You can truly be yourself in these games, and it is my entire 2nd life. If I didn't have my husband and child to worry about, I would probably spend all of my time drowning in TES universe. I LOVE it. THANK YOU SO MUCH BETHESDA and THANK YOU MALUKAH for making and remaking such beautiful and powerful music to accompany this entire other life of mine!

So I loved this song from the moment I heard it. But I didn't play ESO till this month. I . Did . not . Know . Malukah was actually in the game! I figured this was a cover of a song in it.
I don't even know how long I've been listening this song anymore. Maybe 4 years or maybe more, but even so, I still get those goosebumps throughout my whole body every time I listen you singing this music.
And sometimes I use to cry when I think about the families being killed before the eyes of Innocent people

There is a mod that replaces the music on the titles screen with her verison of "the dragonborn comes"
Also changes the in tavern song to it... and a mod to change the in home music the tavern music... so load malukah, then load tavern replacer and boom, her voice is everywhere
