I love the fact you all included the fact you can rebuild the aftermarket shocks, so many people rush out and buy new things when this is a great option to get things back to like new. Another great video from Fitment Industries.
Agree! Bought some old-school Tein Type-HA coilovers for my 4th gen Prelude that were revalved by someone who formerly occasionally tracked theirs. Since they were rebuild for both the street and track and as a Twin-Tube shock design, I'd say it's was the best of the both worlds for the most part. Will eventually move on to Monotube shocks though once I get more seat-time.
A little tip, adding electronic adjustment would let you make full use of your damper adjustment and it doesn't have to be expensive, especially on cars where accessing the rear dampers to adjustment them means having to be under your car it can be a great investment, but not all coilovers fit electronic adjustment kits, so check if you could retrofit electronic damper adjustment if you think you might ever want that
Ill say this, purchased a used set of KWv3s, got them rebuilt to spec. Been loving them for daily spirited driving. Do I use them to their full potential...no... Did I get them for a fraction of the cost....hell yea brother

I have bc racing golds in my miata, 8kg springs in the front and 6kg in the rear. And they ride really nice. Still only have about 1,000km on them though.
