When your woman changes before your eyes, it's rarely a good thing. Women marry men hoping to change them, while men hope their women will never change - but they so often do, especially when brought back to the west after living in a traditional culture. Here's the story of Balentino, who made a mistake he'll never repeat, and who will give his advice about when your woman changes before your eyes...

I agree with him. It’s a lost cause. Soldiers are not like agents, we are more physical because the state of mind we have is dying all the time. At war it’s a very high percentage that you will die and be forgotten. Agents just play tricks, unless you were an ex soldier. So soldiers have a type of communication that is always edgy, because if we don’t act right move right speak right we die. So it would be faster for two soldiers to marry than agents. Y’all don’t get married y’all cat and play pranks with each other; scams and crap. We pull cards hard, that’s why you couldn’t get around him, he was being serious and clear the whole way. No trick of the tongue, so you kept getting choked up. It means he is an upstanding man, and ex soldier with a good character that doesn’t play games. He’s rather go to Vietnam and die with his fellow fallen soldiers than play around with these new aged children. You guys are so one world government it’s a joke you pull flags like you are your own nation. These nations are all United and the same in the same evil, LGBTQ+. He’s telling me don’t do it, these whole world is selfish and self centered. Marriage is no longer honorable and it’s no one to fight for. It’s no one to defend that is honorable. No example of love to drive the youth anymore. Everyone wants to hurt each other with no reason at all. It’s not logical, just emotional. Innocent men minding their business get attacked instead of getting known. Filipina Pea wants to hurt him for the truth, but that’s an upstanding man and soldier that you can rely on to speak clear to you. He survived war where many of his fellow soldiers didn’t, so he won’t play around with his borrow led time. Either live life right and pure of heart or die and leave, that’s how we think. Y’all playing minority report with life. We don’t get along with civilians too well because of the difference of thought and intent. Filipina Pea thinks she has a an enemy to fight, and isn’t realizing she is her own enemy. Talking to me would be like that. Exposing how silly you are in the mind, and you need love.

This issue is Very, Very and Very common. I can connected with this because I have heard and seen this issue a whole lot over the years with the Women from the Philippines and Indonesia and Cambodia. Good Blessing that I have never experience it. The women assumed that American men are extremely rich as Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk, which is Very Not true. Most people around the world are not taught the difference of Currency value. That's why so many Filiphinas assumed that 100 USD is big money, which it is 5,730.21 PHP. It seems a whole of money but it is only pocket change, small amount of basic coins to flip with.
Since I was in high school of the 1980's, It is said that Filipinas are attracted to American men because they assumed that the men has money. By the magazines and movies and series that they are watching. Hollywood movies of American life are totally stupid BUT the dear Filipinas think it's the real deal.
When I was in high school, I had a Filipina pencil PenPal. 12 years before the internet came. I was in Western Pennsylvania and she was in Hong Kong with her parents. We wrote paper letters to each other, every monoth. After high school, her last letter that I got from her, she have said that she met a Japanese guy with big money and live as an American life style. Of course, I was heartbroken and sad but now, hopefully, I do hope that she is okay now. Maybe.
One of my all time favorite movies is called, El Norte, year 1983. It's about a poor brother and sister in Guatemala who look at American magazines and they assumed that all Americans are super rich. The brother and sister had discover the very hard difficulties of living in the USA. The movie is about lost desires for a better life in USA, Sad Ending.
I do Strongly Bellieve that so many Filipina fall into the DayDream as the movie, El Norte. To have a better life with an American man in the USA.
The Amazing Great Anthony Bourdain had Great Love for the Philippines. He love the Filiphino a human among humans searching for actual, meaningful connection. He knew and seen the poverty but the people love Art and Music and Food and of course Singing. Filipinas have Amazing Culture....the women of the Philippines should focus on their culture and not try to be Americanized.
If a Filipina really love an American guy. It's great and amazing but don't try to fit in and try to be "rich and famous". There's always a downfall when you step out of something really special and a Blessing. Always happens.

I got lucky. I brought a Thai woman back to the US in 2017 and got married and she never got Americanized. She worked at a Japanese restaurant with other Thai girls and they hung out and she really was in a little bubble and stuck with her culture while she was here. Now we've been married for 7 years and I'm retired, and we're moving back to Thailand to live at the end of this year. She's excited about going home. If you ask her if she likes the US, she'll say not really. I knew about women in Southeast Asia when I came to the Philippines as a young Marine in 1982. I never forgot the beauty of the women and how nice they were. Then I met my wife through an old Marine Corps buddy who lived in Thailand and went to visit him in 2015 and the rest is history!

Before I hooked up with my Filipina, she knew full well that by American standards I was poor. She was great about that. I helped her through nursing school. She earns her own money, helps her family and saves. We have two beautiful daughters. 15 years in, it was the best decision of my life, she's a wonderful gal. She was a province girl, from Biliran, very traditional, very trustworthy even though half my age. She is a little hard headed, but not in a bad way at all. No problems, no drama.

Pea I took my wife to America over 36 years ago and she did change for the better. She was exposed to western women and she worked during that time. I even deployed 2 times and my wife became more independent. Through it all she did not change to the western women ways. She is the same feminine, supportive and cooperative woman I met 36 years ago. Almost 2 years ago we returned to the Philippines to enjoy our retirement. So if you want to interview a filipina who survived the US we would be glad to share our story.

Today's Filipinas have a different attitude towards marriage than their mothers had. Today's Filipinas are beginning to take on Western ways and want more independence. If they can enjoy their own career with a guaranteed income adequate enough to be independent of a husband's income, these young Filipinas will begin to behave the same way Western women behave in the USA, UK, etc.
The traditional marriage is threatened by the equal earning power of today's career women. The traditional housewife is no longer a natural choice for women with increased educational and/or financial earnings.
It's the same movement Western women went through about seventy or eighty years ago.

Perfect example of when a man has money he wants to take care of his wife and family. When a woman has money she doesn't need a man. I turned down and ignored numerous women stayed faithful wife started working and immediately cheated and left. My wife was a virgin and we met when we were about 14 married her at 19 joined the Army in 2000. Then 8 years later she tried to reconcile after our divorce telling me she was sorry and the same thing she did to me happened to her repeatedly. @@zetaone2669 Thank you for sharing your compelling story. It is quite obvious you are a good man. It is most unfortunate that the ills of the west you sought to escape by going to the PH nonetheless ruined the marriage you formed there. Congratulations for going back to find another good woman, and this time you won't make the mistake of bringing her back where she can be corrupted by the things we leave the west to get away from.
At 60, my life has been co-extensive with events in the US during the entire period of modern so-called "feminism." It started out to be simply about equality, which is actually the dictionary definition of the word. I think all right thinking men are on board with the concept of simple equality.
But over the decades it developed into something sinister. Not content with equality, so-called "feminists" progressed to constant criticism and vilification of men, and popularization of truly abhorrent and dangerous terms like "toxic masculinity" and the "tyranny of the patriarchy." Whole successive generations of women in the west, especially the US, have been brainwashed by feminist propaganda into thinking they MUST pursue professional careers over marriage and family and child rearing, and that choosing the latter would make them a "failure." This has even included harsh criticism of women who have rejected such views in favor of more balanced or traditional values in their lives.
I saw this in my 20's, and I knew then that many of these women would progress into middle age and come to regret their choices, facing life alone and childless, or divorced, having rejected the very things that bring men and women together to begin with. I am a lawyer, and in few professions has this progression been more apparent than in mine. Sadly the things I anticipated as a young man have come to be.
I believe eventually equality and freedom of choice will remain - as they should - but the ills of modern so-called "feminism" will be left behind on what I like to call "the great garbage pile of human history," along with bell bottom jeans, sun worship, human sacrifice, and mood rings. This will be a long time in happening though, and it will not be in our lifetimes.
In the meantime, we can go to the Philippines or other countries in Asia and elsewhere where women are still truly feminine, and who genuinely respect good men and have not fallen prey to the propaganda in the west.
I have been to the PH three times so far, and each trip I stay for longer. I work for myself and have the freedom to work while there. I am happy to say that I have met a number of truly wonderful, lovely, and feminine women there, who have restored my faith that there are women in the world worth spending your life with.
And to the point here, I have met filipinas who do not want to move to the US, contrary to the ongoing propaganda from "feminists" about them just wanting money or visas. Marrying one and staying there will prevent the evils of so-called "feminism" from ruining them and destroying our happiness with them.
A large number of modern American women are unhappy, and although most will not admit it, they cannot stand to see a woman from Asia simply being truly feminine and making her man happy. They abhor it, so they take it upon themselves to brainwash filipinas in the US if given the chance.
To other men here I always say, Go East, young man. Find yourself a truly feminine woman in the Philippines, and stay there with her.
Thanks to you and the Pea for this excellent video, and I wish you all the best in finding real happiness again.

I received pre-marital counseling from a Filipino pastor. He told me under no circumstances, to bring my bride to the United States. He said he knew two American-Filipina couples in his little congregation of a dozen or so couples, supposedly devout, one who got divorced after five years and the other after two. He blamed both these cases on the woman becoming westernized, adopting feministic values and changing from the personality traits that first attracted the man to her. Fortunately, she wants to stay close to her family here in the Philippines and my pensions go a lot farther here than they would in the U.S.

I knew an old guy who married 4 different women from the Philippines , Taiwan and Vietnam . The marriage seemed to be going good in each case until they hit the 6-7 year mark. By then the women were educated and had good career jobs and then the feminine drama kicked in. After the 4th wife he finally said I won’t get married again unless I stay overseas in their country 🤯

Dated a Filipina before, but felt like I could never truly trust her or especially her family. There was always this feeling of being taken advantage of, or them trying hard to do so. I remember giving her a nice phone to only be told that her mom took it and sold it behind her back since she (the mom) needed cash. Her family was always whispering in her ear about getting more money from me. Can't even imagine having taken her back to the US and what would have happened. Ended up meeting a wonderful lady from Brazil who is my best friend and partner for the last 16 years. Adapting to her culture was easy and I felt at home in Brazil from day 1 - but never felt that way in the Philippines. You might be "wanted" in the Philippines, but for what is the question 🙂

A few gold diggers make 90% of all the other women look bad (regardless of nationality race ethnicity or culture) . I know this from experience. But remember every person is different and can never be compared to the next person. The goal is to find the right healthy minded women or man regardless of ethnicity. Americanized disease ( US citizens are consumer centric indoctrinated - it’s the American way ) . Worse - Social media trains both men and women to obsess about wanting more more and more things that we don’t need , and love unfortunately gets converted into what more can the other mate “give me “ to feed my consumeristic greed indoctrination- that is so prevalent here in the USA. Go to Philippines marry and stay there with her , family and friends and be happy. Don’t bring her back to the USA

Shortly after that we were divorced. Since then I have known about nine other American guys married to Filipinas who had the same experience. The thing is that Filipinos do not see the world like Westerners do. What we see as wrong, they do not. They live in a completely different universe, therefore you will never understand them after marriage when they show you the true person for the first time.

Everything was great and things were also great in the marriage, eventually we had 3 kids, bought cars & a house but she changed? All of a sudden she was disinterested in out life and focused on hers. I kept trying to support her along the way but she didn't commit to the marriage and she kept cheating on me and as a Christian I had to divorce her. @@timothybush9633 My experience is similar but with a woman born and raised in the USA. The social and cultural atmosphere here in the USA is poison to families and children, as well as to husbands.
The USA's female population has been invaded by an unspoken, underground movement to destroy the American Dream as a stepping stone towards establishing a socialist society, thus destroying our constitutional-republic government, as well as the dominance of the USA's position in the global market.
My story began in early 1963 when I first met my future ex-wife on a blind date. I'll skip a lot of detail and cut to the problem.
My ex-wife's mother was a lifelong, daily drinking alcoholic. Her father had a minor speech impediment that he compensated with egocentric-egotistic, obsessive germaphobe behavior traits.
Her mother's brothers and sisters (her uncles and aunts), and her mother's parents (her grandparents) called her "The Little Princess."
She was an only child in both her family and extended family until she was nearly eight years old.
All these conditions created a narcissistic type of personality. In effect, my ex-wife was "trained" to have a narcissistic personality by her family and extended family. (This conclusion was described by a pair of psychologists, male and female partners in a psychological-therapist organization.)
I was not aware of all these conditions and events about my future wife, including her "party girl" activities both here in the USA and in Italy that were never told me about her past.
I was extremely naive as well as ignorant of all her misdeeds and previous behavior. You might say that I was deceived about her reputation and condition. (Does the street slang term "hornswoggled" come to mind?)
It was not until about five years into the marriage that I began to question some of her attitudes and behaviors that I began to find out bit-by-bit pieces of her past misdeeds.
There's a ton of more information that I will not go into due to limited space.
She gave birth to a daughter after having a secret rendezvous with a high school acquaintance nine and a half months earlier, naming her daughter the same name as her secret "friend," only with a variation in spelling.
I found out about the secret rendezvous when I overheard her private conversation with one of her girlfriends from the same high school.
She also gave birth to a son after she had befriended one of her male co-workers she had developed a friendship with even though I objected and asked her to end it.
After about ten years, she stated she never loved me and wanted a divorce.
I got her to agree to see a marriage counselor, but she would only go if we had separate private sessions. Desperately, I agreed.
I never found out any information from the counseling. She later told me she was moving to another state where her parents lived. It was not a subject for discussion.
I moved there and stayed with her parents in their home for six months. She stayed in our home until it sold and her daughter finished her school year.
When she finally moved to her parents' city, she had "Financial Separation" papers drawn up and moved out of our rented condo. After a long year, I finally consented to a divorce and left.
Eventually, within two years, I ceased communication with her.
The point of my telling my sad details is that either a wife or a husband can destroy a marriage by their own personal behavior and attitudes. Neither one has to be a foreigner. Find out as much information as you can about anyone you are considering establishing a marriage relationship with to avoid future problems that will break your heart and destroy your future life and career.

When we got married my wife came to Canada. She was there 4 months and went back home--too cold and home sick. 4 years later I retired (at 55 with a pension) sold everything and joined her. That was 15 years ago. She has a 1k sq. meter lot, fully fenced and gated with 2-3 bedroom houses on it. We are along the brg. road, 300 meters to the national highway and 800 meters to the beach on the Gulf of Leyte--the old Marcos beach compound in Olot, Tolosa, Leyte. Could not be a better location. And that’s the thing that some Europeans and other foreigners learn the hard way. Filipinas and Thai women are coming from a warm country where it’s healthy and therapeutic. Most of these Europeans and Canadians live in places where it is cold, dark and not as “happy “. Most of these southeast Asian women don’t want to live in these places. Some of them will tolerate it if they have no choice, but they really don’t want to be there.

@@zetaone2669 I really appreciate the advice you gave. It is kind of depressing to me that a man shouldn't take a Filipina back to the U.S. without the risk of losing big. I hope you don't mind if I share my thoughts. The idea that women should use birth control is one of the toxic pills of feminism. And I consider that a red flag when searching for a woman. Years ago, when I was in a Hawaiian restaurant in Salt Lake, I struck up a conversation with a Tongan woman who was in her mid sixties. She was about to attend her mother's 100th birthday party. This 100 year old woman had something like fourteen kids. And each of her kids had large families and so on, so that by the time she turned one hundred, she had five hundred descendants. If you can imagine that?
Now if you can appreciate the contrast. She had five hundred people and their spouses and friends attend her birthday party. And all of those people adored her as a national treasure. Her daughter said that even the queen of Tonga paid her respects. Now you put that in contrast to the average American feminist who fooled around, yet rejected every marriageable man. If you know some of them when they get old, they are bitter lonely people. They live alone in their apartments with little money and no companions except maybe for a dog or a cat.
Let me ask you which woman is better off in the end? If you believe in God, then you would know that your children are the only thing you can take with you into the next life. Everything else you leave behind. Plus this life is so short. The older we get the more we realize how little time we actually have. Why do we throw away our lives working towards the things that we inevitably lose anyway when our time is up? Why shouldn't we look to a higher purpose?
And what are the results of using birth control? All across the world, wealthy nations are experiencing a population collapse. And their civilizations are on the brink of collapse along with it. Birth control are against the laws of God, and there are always consequences breaking His laws. And we are seeing those consequences.
Those are my thoughts. You can take it or leave it.

Hi Pea, first time writing. As soon as I read this title I felt this pain. I just went thru the craziest 3-3 1/2 years. With a very young ladyboy. She was a provincial woman all the way but now she is a full-time nude streamer. I think cause of the freedoms I gave to her her mind went into super greed mode. We aren't together, we've been having issues the last year and change. There is a lot more to the story but just focusing on this topic I felt this pain. I do have to say I am happier now, I didn't realize as she did all these things it really upset me. We were planning on getting married in the States , so I didn't even get that far and she still was too westernized always demanding Jollibees or McDonald's, air Con where I paid the bills while she lived there.. Mentioned it plenty of times: I did not bring my wife to live in the west for a plethora of reasons. "Western feminism" is one of them. Plenty of 'stong independent' women who will tell her how she should behave so eventually she will become as unhappy as they are
    Other reasons:
    Philippines just nicer to be
She is comfortable with friends, family and familiar food around her
No need to learn a new language
I provide her with everything she needs, no reason to live in the west.
and lastly, though I totally trust her, but in my home country she will be the 'exotic beauty'. No reason to allow the fox in the hen-house

it's true. My son is married to an American woman half-black and half-Filipina. Our son said he wanted a 'trad wife' and wanted his wife to stay home and raise the kids. Fortunately she was of a like mind so...fine. My wife, feminist by all accounts, bristled at this arrangement who still has a slight prejudice of wishing to see women be 'bossbabes or 'girlboss' types. She's enough of a feminist (old school) to respect her daughter-in-law's preference and choices, plus we know that our daughter-in-law despite this movement to being trad, has her own will and strength. Tough chick.

We live in the USA, we are not rich but the hard times bring us closer and closer. we have one step daughter and one child who is our own. We were in the Philippines for 7 weeks over the summer since i was between jobs. Not every relationship works out whether its a mixed relationship or two people of the same culture. My advise is look for your our flaws first before you point the finger to another. My now wife have been together 10 years and have a 31 year age gap. check us out.

I see this happen all the time. One of the most risky things you can do is relocate a foreign wife to the US too soon. If your goal is to retire/live in the US with your Filipina or any foreign wife. You need to take small trips over several years. You need to introduce them to the side of things that are causing the issues. They need to have a strong moral compass and commitment. Culture shock causes issues, and if she doesn't understand the things that western women will say and do, then she will be very vulnerable to those type of people. And she needs to have a group of people in the US that you can introduce her to that reinforce the proper values. Without that it is a ticking time bomb.

I married a Korean lady (yes I know, completely different culture). She came to the U.S. when she was 16. She had a very strict mother. I met her when I was in the Army. We married when we were both 20 years old. Had a child and been together for over 30 years. We divorced for 3 years and got remarried again. Now our child is 20. We are getting divorced again. My wife has NO resemblance to a traditional Korean woman. The lack of respect to men in the U.S. is amazing. I think you are 💯 on this one. Live in the culture you want live in. If you bring them to the US you are just creating another Western woman

I owe you a debt of gratitude, Pea. You made a reference to the Happy Wife School. I think she did a great job explaining exactly how women operate. Thank you, dear lady.

Everyone changes in a different environment Miss Pea. Even your guest changes with his environment. I am married to a Filipina and after 20 years still going strong. Of all our friends in Filipina American marriages I only know 3 that ended up badly which is much better than the average here. It’s true in the Philippines a westerner is the hot commodity so be careful and find the right one. My advice too is don’t get in a huge age gap relationship because when you get older and she is still relatively young you can’t keep up with your homework. In some cases maybe it’s better to keep her in the Philippines but depends on the woman. Don’t just look at city girls. There are a lot of great women from the provinces. Good luck.
