Do Filipino men resent foreigners dating their women? It's an obvious question on the minds of many western men, as they travel to paradise to choose a Filipina beauty - wouldn't the local guys take a dim view of the added competition? Don't foreigners make it even harder to find a mate? Well, let's ask them: do Filipino men resent foreigners dating their Filipina women?

Majority of these Men are too nice and very polite guys. And a bit too feminine I guess it is just how majority of guys are overthere. I feel about BAD because hyperghamy is a Real thing girls are just going for a better deal foreigner WHO is Richer more income ,different more masculine etc . Its the same in the West GIRLs are going for the better deal always they choose the better guy, seems in the Philippines the foreigner is the better deal ,but these guys are just Well behaved and nice gentlments they dont take IT in a Bad Way, I could see in general they are good people; I would be Mad if someone comes from other culture and start dating our girls in EUROPE,but I guess its just different culture

He's pretty accurate but not on the under age girls , western Foreigners are here for a traditional Philippino and cheaper living , it's very rare a western gos for a very young girl , it's mostly middle eastern men getting in trouble over that here where I live . The Philippines is more strict on that than many countries . My 10 years here I've never heard on a western man getting in trouble over a young girl but I've heard of a couple middle east men getting in trouble and deported .

Yeah, the more traditional feminine aspect is a big part of it. Women in the West have become more masculine and promote the “boss babe”/“I’m a strong independent woman and I don’t need no man” mentality and therefore don’t appreciate the men, so the men would rather go somewhere else where they actually ARE appreciated by them and not demonized.

@davmil2002 I wonder how she chooses who to interview. Perhaps the location she chose just didn't have women who could express themselves well or who had the maturity to answer her questions? I think this is the second video that I've seen where the ladies didn't have much substance with their answers. I tried to compare myself and my friends back when we were the same age and, boy, we definitely knew a lot and could express ourselves well - both male and female. I was out of the country for 20 years and was quite shocked when I came back. But then again, I've lived in the Capital region NCR of the country, and I wonder if that's a factor as well. @@CABell-6thsept I think it's just what we know from social experiments with women. Women tend to conform to group behavior and talking points and what to say, expectations etc. We know this even from salary experiments where if they all know what they are going to ask for salary they all cluster around the same number. But if they don't know what each other is getting, then they all try to get as much as they can for themselves. They have evolutionary reasons for this, but it boils down to not trying to raise their status and so they don't show they are a threat to other women around them. That's also why their friends are the same level as beauty as them, not a threat.

I would like to understand more about this experiment, which I think I could use in my discussions with my daughters.

Another topic not often discussed by bloggers is the issue of National Security with China infringing upon Philippines territories in the Philippines seas. Deepening cooperation between the Philippines and the USA is very important for both countries. I hope you might look into this topic for a future blog by interviewing Filipinos on their concerns of Chinese infringements (claiming Philippines atolls, their military buildup on and around these atolls plus illegal fishing) as well as the concerns some Filipinos have regarding the three new military bases being built in the Philippines resulting in US troops, ships, and planes about to stationed in PI.

All nice, but imo, a bit cherry-picked. Most Filipino masses do not speak such perfect, literary English ( they speak better than many Americans) and not all are so open minded. The PH has all kinds of people and opinions.
Some guys do get jealous and some people do frown and say bad things about the couple. It is not 100% rosy like that.
I wish FP would interview rank and file Visayan speaking people and not these university stars. Just some common folks.
Having said that, among SE Asian countries, the PH is definitely a lot more tolerant.

So just keep a Smile on your face and treat everyone the way you want to be treated. And when encountering long ques or frustration just Adapt, Adjust, and Accept with Allot of Patience then go with the flow as nobody should sweat the small stuff and 98% of things are the small stuff. So just enjoy Retirement as there's no hurries as then you'll have No worries. P.S. I'm thrilled my :Lady lives in Dumaguete and Love grows as you work on it.. Thanks Pea much ❤😍🏍

As a filipino grewing up in Dumaguete and I do not feel that the foriegners are stealing our women, not true at all, and I think most filipino men agree with me. If you rate a woman 1 to 10 in beauty most of the filipinas that the foreigners marries or date are rated 4-5-6 , to the foreigners they are rated maybe 8-9-10 lol sorry to say that, good for the filipinas then, they get to marry a foreigner to better their life status. Filipini men tend to like light skinned mestiza women. So nothing to be mad about if they marry flipinas or make thrm their gf. My true opinion as a filipino and now living in the US.I am a US Navy veteran from Dumaguete and I am happy to see many Americans marry filipinas, no recentment at all. My ship go over thr world and I am happy tosee filipinas in many parts of the world married to foreign men. That is a myth that filipinos resent or think foreigners are stealing our women, their are lots of filipinas out there! And foreigners are getting the women we rate as 4-5-6 😂 for reals!

I enjoy your spunk, Filipina Pea! I'm a Filipina as well and it's refreshing to find more openly outspoken and opinionated women here.
Personally I think that there will never be any shortage of Filipinas to date, in general. And that having foreigners date some Filipinas is good because it sort of balances the dating situation? If you get what I mean. Because they usually choose women that common Filipino men don't necessarily find attractive. Beauty is really in the eye of the beholder and I don't think anyone would be left behind. There will always be someone who's going to be attracted to someone no matter how insecure they feel about themselves.

    Pea:
It's funny that the key thing to take a very strong mental note on in this video is your comment at the end. Intentions are everything. When a person travels to another country, whether it be to migrate or just visit, intentions are the thing that separates how their experience will be, and how the locals will feel about them.
When travelling with good intentions, and an open mind and heart, the possibilities are limitless on how positive the experience for both you and the place that you travel to. It's all up to the traveler on what the intentions will be.
As some of the men you interviewed said about rude behavior, Those are the travelers that didn't make the intention check for themselves before they left home. You just shouldn't go to another country and expect things to be exactly the same as they are in your home country. If that were the case, WHY GO ANYWHERE?
Keep up the great work my friend.

I am being accepted into the rural community still getting used to chismis! Sure, I have been subject to some of it. But I don't mind.
I wake up every day 100m from a white sand beach, its wonderfully warm, love the chickens, my gf is amazing, and I can buy half a bottle of run once a week for 75php !!!

They were all very respectful young men with interesting viewpoints. Thanks for showing us this. The Philippines reminds me of how we in the states were in the 1950s when the man was the breadwinner and the woman supported the man, children respected their elders, and neighbors helped neighbors. This creates strength in the families and in the communities. In western society now, women are competing with men and neighbors are competing with other neighbors. This leads to resentment instead of mutual respect and leads to weaker bonds between people.

As a Pinoy who has spent over 40 years here in America I finally got smart and recently married a phillipina who's very loyal, likes going to church ,family oriented, cook, clean etc. She's not perfect by any means cause no one is except our Lord King Jesus Christ! I'm not worried about being divorced again or being broke! Thanks Phillipina pea for who you are and the awesome content you are always covering! Stay true and genuine! God bless!

I just got back from The Philippines. I loved everything about it EXCEPT the driving. I can relate to the road rage story. My girlfriend told me several times "relax and go with the flow" I eventually listened. I will admit, I like rules of the road after visiting The Philippines. LOL Great vid Miss Pea!

I remember another video where you were talking to 3 or 4 guys sitting on a bench, and they gave pretty much the same answers. I'd like to see you interview older Filipinos, like guys around 40-50 years old. I bet they would give different answers to those questions. Anyway, great video! Thanks for all you do!

Unfortunately, the older generation doesn’t speak much English, so as long as you’re okay with subtitles 😊

Good honest interviews Pea. The nonjudgmental nature of Filipino’s comes through. I think at least for now we are fishing in different places but this could change in the future.

Really good interviews Pea! Such good english and interesting views. A few undertones there that people are fed up of foreigners who misbehave? Maybe a topic for another time? If you're a guest in someones home, you should behave as such! Anyway, great to hear the guys views too! Thank you Pea! 🙏🏻🌹😊

This is one of your best videos for a while IMO. And this is another reason that I love the Philippines and why I intend to retire there. It's not just the women and the obvious economic advantages, the guys you have interviewed here in this video are such great young men. They are all a total credit to your country, the Filipino culture and no doubt, their families. I hope to make many friends there and contribute positively to the Philippines.

What I see in this video are very well adjusted, respectful men that put their country first. In the west it is constant chaos and people act poorly on many levels. Great video Pea! In two years I will be moving to the PI to get out of the west and enjoy my life in your beautiful country.
