You'll find frugality, even among Americans. Adding water to the shampoo bottle, adding water to the jar of spaghetti sauce to make sure we get every last bit, refurbishing & repurposing old furniture, these are things we do.
I have a sister who will put Ziploc baggies in the dishwasher & use them many times before throwing them away. Of course, we were raised in West Virginia, one of the poorest areas of the US. With the way the value of money keeps dropping, it is a superpower to be able to spot ways to save a buck.

Ah! All is pretty much the same for me!! But, here is an Additional Great Suggestion! Shake at Least a couple of ounces or so more of Olive Oil into the just-emptied jar of pasta sauce, and add this to your pot of heating sauce, FIRST!! And THEN, use water, in order to get all/any of that residual, yet deliciously flavored Olive Oil, to thin the sauce as desired, rather than only just tap or well water, in order to alleviate any bad taste from the added water!! The Olive Oil will Surely Add to the Flavor!! And be sure to Add Spices & Seasonings (oregano, garlic, onion, pepper flakes, salt, pepper, etc.) also!! Bon Appétit! And Enjoy!!🤤

All the things you discuss today I have experienced and you just learn to ignore it! I try for a few years to change it , but I learned to live with it! Also one subject I might suggest is why do Filipina’s changed the gender of someone when they are talking about them! This always kept me confused over years! Anyway I love your channel! It brings a smile to my face and brings good memories! I look forward to watching your channel every week! Take care and GOD bless you and keep you and your family safe and healthy!!

My Filipina wife passed away 16 months ago. Married 13 years. She always confused genders when talking because in their language there is no he or she. It's gender neutral. So when my wife was telling a story she would be talking about a 'he' and then say, 'she' later on. I'd get confused and have to ask her to clarify if she's talking about a man or a woman.

Those of us in US who lived frugally did some of the things you mentioned like water in the shampoo, conditioner, spaghetti sauce (or any sauce really). We also leave the oven door open after we bake something to let the remaining heat warm the room in the winter. We saved cooking grease in metal coffee cans to re-use for cooking later.

and chickens are kept packed tightly in cages as closely as possible, and are not given anti biotics so they are sick all the time and you will get sick too if you eat their raw eggs. because of bacteria. Bacteria grows much faster when not refrigerated. So in fhe USA we must refrigerate eggs to slow down the bacteria growth and cook them well. In some other countries there is no bacteria st all in eggs and can be eaten raw and left unrefrigerated and they will remain bacteria free naturally because bacteria only gets inside eggs if the chicken is already very sick with it.

Pea. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have just come back from manila visiting the love of my life. You and your videos is one of the reasons I decided to find a filipina woman.
I have just had the 3 best weeks of my life with the most amazing woman in the world. Your videos opened my eyes to another world I didn't know existed. I will be forever grateful to you for that.
We are engaged now, 8 months after we first met, she will come visit me in Norway in a few months, then I'm going back in January for our Wedding. You are invited btw, haha.
Again, thank you so much for opening my eyes to how good life can be.

Pea, I was on a bus from Bantayan island back to Cebu. I have never been so cold in my life and I am from the northern USA. It was hours of cold. Finaly some courageous Filipinos demanded the bus driver pull over and let people out. I felt so helpless until they stood up. Praise God that they did. There were babies suffering and that driver was clueless. I praise God for those Filipinos who stood up. I know they risked bad consequences.

Ever walk into a public place and have the women staring at you saying "Ang puti!" When I lived there they usually said that about your skin and then gently grabbed your pointed nose. I always found it funny that Filipinas spent money to whiten their skin while American women would kill to have the skin tone of the typical Filipina. I guess we all want what we don't have.
