    I LOVE how you led in with how important our relationship with God is in taking care of our bodies. I’ve never heard anyone put it this way and I’m so glad that you’re so bold about sharing the gospel. What an outstanding platform you have, and God is certainly using you to grow His kingdom!
    Other than that, longevity is becoming increasingly important for me right now. I’m 41, a mom of 3 under 8, and we are trying for #4. Hormone balance is important too. I LOVED this video and I LOVE your plans! Thank you!

      Jessica, that's exciting that you are trying for number 4! My oldest Gavin, just turned 9, so I know exactly what it's like having a home of 3 under the age of 8 and potentially having one more. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed this video. : )

    The one that spoke to me the most was More Ambition. When you said “don’t wish you had fewer kids or less responsibilities, wish that you were more efficient with your time”. I have 5 kids now, two of those are 2.5mth old twins and I have been struggling lately with thoughts that I would be too ashamed to tell anyone. Like “I shouldn’t have had so many kids”, not that I don’t absolutely love each one with my whole heart, but I feel so overwhelmed like I can’t do this. But as a Christian I know that God didn’t make a mistake and he hasn’t left me to do the work of motherhood alone. I’m going to have to get better at time management, at prioritizing what needs to get done each day, and at trusting him in all things. My daily goals are going to have to look a bit different than someone else’s, but my ultimate goal is still the same, to live a life pleasing to God and be a good steward of the blessings he has given me.

    • @glowbodypt
      @glowbodypt  Рік тому +3

      Sarah, you are seen as a mom of 5 with 2 being 2 month old TWINS. And just know you don't need to be embarrassed. There's a reason I knew to share those words, because I'VE FELT THEM MYSELF. Those same thoughts I refuted have crossed my mind more than a couple of times.
      Just because we are Christian women doesn't mean the enemy won't still try to attack us, still tempt us, still push us on hot buttons. It's comforting to remind myself, he tempted Jesus when he was starving in the wilderness-- at a very vulnerable time, solo out there-- and Jesus persevered.
      I am SO GRATEFUL to hear your ultimate goal is the same as what I strive for- seek to know Jesus more, live a life that is glorifying to God, and to worship Him. I've got another video coming out in Feb that I am confident you're really going to enjoy...stay tuned. xo

      I got married and now have 2 children. It all happened in a short span of 2 years and life has changed drastically for me. Just 2 years ago I was living all alone in my house doing my thing & now I feel like my life is not mine. But I hope things get better once my babies grow up a little or maybe I'll just get used to it! I too am guilty of those thoughts and on the other hand I can't imagine my life without these 2 little people!!!

The areas I need to work on consistently involve adequate sleep as well as nourishing my body properly. My husband and I have 6 kids, and I homeschool them. Being home all day, I snack when they snack, so the eating department is where I struggle the most, especially with overeating and stress eating. Getting on the "snack train" at night, as you call it, is thankfully not an issue for me anymore, so that's a step in the right direction! My family love your recipes from the Mom Cookbook! Great points! Since I have weekly therapy, I just told my therapist that I want to start each session with the topic of exercise to hold me accountable. I find that if I exercise consistently, I drastically reduce any anxiety or depression as you have mentioned here. It does drastically improve my quality of life as well.
    Sometimes I have to walk places because I don't own a car. I took a walk after doing Yoga pants and felt like I could glide because my legs felt stronger instead of like bags of mush.
    I've never done strength training before your plans, and absolutely love having some tone on my female body. Broad shoulders and muscle is not just for men :)
    The safe core exercises are a great gift because I had diastasis recti for years before finding your plan and it was a lingering unsolved problem.
    I could go on and on, but I am overall so grateful to have found your plans!
    I had a super fast delivery with my second child after doing the prenatal plan, I even worked out (SPD workout) the day she was born. Now I'm doing the Post Pregnancy Plan for the second time around and am so thankful for the free upgrade.

    Beautiful! I was wondering, do you have any tips for "getting back on track"? This pregnancy has been my sickest bar none (morning sickness, then regular ailments just seem to be a constant). At 35 weeks pregnant I feel a lot of pressure from myself to move my body and eat well, but I'm exhausted. Even so, it's so important! But it always seems like once I'm back to myself, things unravel again.
    This is an adopted embryo, so it very well could be spiritual attack (we were also scammed out of almost all our money about a month ago, and I was in the hospital the day before Thanksgiving with bleeding. All resolved, thankfully!)

      Oh babe, I'm so sorry to hear this has been your sickest pregnancy you've had, along with other personal issues hitting your family seemingly all at once. At 35 weeks along you should be focusing on walking a few days per week as your number one movement goal. My "prepare for labor stretching routine" is also going to be perfect for you as you near full-term. Lay off of heavy weights and just focus on doing *something* even if it's not sweaty or difficult simply because it will accelerate your pp recovery even before you start day 1 of official workouts on the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan. Any lingering *muscle* is excellent to have in the early postpartum weeks where we all LOSE fitness, but necessarily to heal, before building back up again.

    Thank you 😊 I needed this video ❤
    I love how you included God through this whole video.
    I am a mama of six children and we homeschool also a military spouse. My youngest is almost two years old and I did the postpartum program, but I didn’t really lose anything ( I have a hard time losing since I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism) I really want to start your videos back up but not sure what program is best for me could you please help me with finding the right one?

    • @glowbodypt
      @glowbodypt  Рік тому +1

      So impressed you homeschool your SIX and you're a milspouse too. Hypothyroidism is one of the *few circumstances* that I actually recommend gluten free diet (or limited gluten), considering adding selenium supplement if you don't take in enough through diet, and of course hand-in-hand with CONSISTENT exercise that isn't "over the top." I don't need you training 6-7 days per week. 4-5 days per week is ideal for hypothyroidism. The 10 Minute Plan would be ideal for you and your full schedule as a homeschool mom because your kids can do self-directed work, or coloring worksheets, or join in with you like PE class on their own mats. The workouts are so short and sweet that even if you need to pause between workouts to help your youngest, it's OKay because it was designed for moms like you and me who have a lot going on! You already know the value of providing your children with predictable structure, so now it's your turn to implement *snack time workout* everyday at 10:30am or do it right after breakfast at 8am or during little one's quiet time at 2pm and you show up like it's your JOB to press play at 2. : ) Routine is key and will inspire your big kids, too.

    Hey!!! Love your channel! Can you PLEASE add more diastis recti AB EXERCISES?? I literally do your 8 minute diastis recti exercise every day. My daughter is 5 and I had a 4 finger gap for a very long time and I have done many many many things and finally over the last year the gap has gone to 2 fingers. Can you please add some other exercises that I can use to continue to close my gap!! Thanks !!!!

    • @glowbodypt
      @glowbodypt  Рік тому

      Liza, it's Ashley. I'm really glad my channel has benefited you so much, thank you for sharing that! I'm tracking you started with a severe 4-finger Diastasis Recti and now it is down to a 2 (good job!) I'm confident you can get down to a 1.5 or solid 1 and feel fantastic there. The issue with random DR workouts is that they will NOT WORK to maximum capacity unless you take a full body approach (legs, glutes, back, obliques, shoulders, arms) where every exercise, warm up and cool down stretch is Diastasis Recti safe and healing. In addition, the programming must be PROGRESSIVE - workouts get harder over time, individual exercises advance upon the last, and duration of work-to-rest intervals gets tweaked. ^THIS is why you need the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan to get the best results possible on your abs, and your entire body. It is designed specifically to close down your gap and I'm confident yours can close down more if you really commit to following the plan. www.glowbodypt.com/12-week-post-pregnancy-plan-2

    I can testify to how much working out/movement helps with post partum depression (PPD). I struggled with it severely after 2nd baby and while I can't say it likely will completely resolve the issues (since many other hormones are involved than what exercise affects) , working out helped SO MUCH! Weight-lifting by FAR gave me the BEST results with boosted mood and confidence (and positive changes in the body)! I did the Lean Strong Fast Capable plan 7 months post partum when things where still really rough and it helped alot. The intense cardio wasn't the best for my hormones at the time but the heavy weights, a dream and God-send!
    Just know if you struggle with health issues or PPD working out can feel like the hardest thing to do but know you are doing some of the BEST things for your body as you push it while always listening to your body. Just think of how much worse you would feel if you did NOT workout! Keep it up Mamas!

    Hi I am interested in the 12 week post pregnancy plan but I do my workouts on the TV which has UA-cam on it so its nice and big. Is there a private UA-cam Playlist for those who purchase the program so we can stream it on our tv easy peasy without using cables and junk to hook up our phone to the tv?

      Nalani, congratulations to you, Mama! I recommend walking as your number 1 first exercise, and consistent kegels daily. Start saving now. Wait til the Mother's Day weekend sale if you like when it's discounted! There is no other workout program I would ever do postpartum until completing my 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan first. It is 100% the most comforting to know every single detail is planned out for you to maximize closing down your ab gap and toning the pelvic floor with a 100% safe plan that's challenging, engaging with mom-hacks and tips, and motivating to make you *want* to complete it because you'll see your progress as you go through it.

    • @glowbodypt
      @glowbodypt  Рік тому

      Yes I have one tattoo and got it post-deployment when Luke and I both got home from different deployments! Dandelion that blows into sparrows ----> whimsical and beautiful and adventurous, but always comes back together to reunite with their mate. Sparrows are one of the only birds that always come back together with their mate. Luke and I spend a lot of time apart due to the nature of his job, and my job at the time. This will always mean a lot to me because that man is my bestfriend and husband and I cherish him more than anyone.

    9:45 thank you so much for this video but I’ve a comment about what u said at 9:46
    We all know that the « saggy boobs and the squishy extra belly skin » are not going anywhere no matter how much u workout. Surgery is the only solution to these two popular and specific issues. So how can working out boost confidence -which leads to increased drive- with regard to these 2 particular issues? Thank you and God bless.

      No exercise can "get rid of" excess skin, but coconut oil can help improve elasticity and complexion. No exercise can perk up breasts either-- I didn't say either of those things, nor was it the point. Facts: the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan WILL tighten the stomach's muscles and pull them closer together improving how your core functions pp and how it looks. The 10 Minute Plan WILL add lean tone to your abs because the ab workouts are harder and you're ready for them after the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan. : D The message is: Even with our bodies changed postpartum, we can still be significantly MORE CONFIDENT because we have exercised and toned our arms, legs, backside (glutes). Not every part of our body has to be to our idealistic "goals," rather we can focus on what we *can do* to take care of ourselves, and inevitiably it will improve your aesthetics.

    I am a little embarrassed to admit this but I bought your post pregnancy plan and only got halfway through it before getting sick with this horrible cold/flu season and the crazy life of homeschooling and having 4 babies 6 & under just caught up with me. Along with off and on anxiety & stress. This video was a great motivation for me to start over and try this plan again with a goal of accomplishing it beginning to end.
    Do you recommend if I get sick and miss a week or two should I just keep going where I left off in the plan? For future reference. @glowbodypt

      I'm hopeful for you. Know that WE ALL get injuries sometimes, myself too! I took a break from running for 5 months because I hurt my foot this fall. It's a major drain when it happens but the body absolutely does heal and this won't be your "forever" Callie.
