    I’m so so grateful for your programs! Words really cannot express this, I did your postpartum plan 3 years after the birth of my 4th daughter . It really helped repair my stomach muscles/ligaments and was so gentle on my body. It was intense though! I was having a hard time doing regular workouts because I defiantly still had sensitivity in my stomach. I am currently on week 3 of your 10 minute plan and I am loving it! Thank you so much for this video and all of your encouragement. I am a mother but I’m also an athlete and I really needed to be reminded of that.

      Jade, it's Ashley. I can't tell you how proud I am of you for doing my 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan for yourself 3 yrs after delivering your 4th daughter and restoring your core's strength & functionality- women like you are proof that you are never too late! And now on week 3 of phase 1 of my 10 Minute Plan. : D This shows so much initiative and character to do this for yourself. It's my honor to have you here as part of this little glowbodypt community, thank you so much!

    Thank you so much for sharing! I’m nine weeks out from baby number three and my body definitely isn’t bouncing back like it did with the other two. I don’t think being 40 helps but it’s very discouraging sometimes .I’m a certified personal trainer as well, so I know this takes time but it hard when the results are slow ! However, I’m really enjoying the GlowBody post partum program and I’m seeing results- I really feel like you are there pushing me! God bless you, your family and the work you do!

    Love "your best is not behind you!" I'm 20 weeks along with #6, and enjoying this time and the prenatal workouts. It's so encouraging to be reminded that what is to come will also be wonderful! Going to make the green smoothie from your cookbook for my snack now. 😁

    Thank you for this update, I'm currently 3 months postpartum and I was feeling down because of my belly not being flat and still having loose skin . Hearing this perspective from someone who is fit makes me feel like I am normal and need to be patient with my body. I love how you add faith to your content, really encouraging 💕

    • @glowbodypt
      @glowbodypt  2 роки тому +2

      Sandra, Congratulations to you on your sweet 3 month old. Hear me loud and clear: no one's belly is perfectly flat all the time after having babies! Some days I get bloated just like everyone else and my stomach sticks out. Your flexing body is equally something to be proud of as your regular non-flexing body - your hard work and diligence to take care of yourself, to take care of your family, and to do hard things is what is to be celebrated. My stomach will continue to get stronger and it takes me about 13 months to really feel my best again (but still, will never have a flat stomach just chilling out- that's normal!) : D

    Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm pregnant with our 4th due Aug 3, we are moving 4 states away this summer. God certainly does call us to do strong/hard things. I have been following your workouts/blog as well as Nourish Move Love for almosy a year now, and both of you ladies have inspired me/gave me encouragement when I have been lacking. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your weaknesses.

    Thank you for this! I'm only 21 and a half weeks but have been thinking about postpartum all the same. As a military spouse and active woman, I feel so thankful for your words as they spoke very personally to me: so thank you for being honest, encouraging, and giving great advice. I also appreciate the truth that God cares about our bodies too. Great reminder when motivation is lacking. It's been a really tough pregnancy for me and it's hard not to get discouraged. Feeling encouraged by this!

    • @glowbodypt
      @glowbodypt  2 роки тому

      I feel for you babe having a really tough pregnancy thus far. It's so nice to meet you as a fellow military spouse, too! I don't want what I said to be misconstrued in any way- what I mean to say is we were perfectly and wonderfully made, in His image, and we ought to take care of what He created. Exercise gives us improved focus, greater patience, increased confidence, and drive that can carry over into the rest of our lives to better make an impact for the kingdom. Our physical bodies will return to ashes, God does not care if we have abs that are visible or jiggly thighs- he cares about the matters of our heart and being in relationship with Him.

    Thank you for the update, Ashley, so encouraging! Having just finished the 12 week PPP recently, I am AMAZED at how well my body has responded. I am running again, which I haven’t done in 6+ years (since my first baby) and it feels SO good. I am excited to start the 10 minute plan soon, and continue to improve my fitness all around, maybe even signing up to run a 5k by the end! I hope you and your family are enjoying settling into your new home 💕

      Babe I know how hard it is returning to work. Maybe it was the BEST decision for you at that time. For real, it's so emotional and draining, plus all the prep of bottles and before/after pick up of baby. This is most likely much better timing now that baby has a more predictable schedule and you're use to being back to work. Even if you jam the workouts over Sat-Sun instead of throughout the week, this would be better than nothing. I'm rooting for you Nicole and I want you to see you finish this for yourself! Do week 1 then week 3 then move onto Phase 2 and 3 like normal.

Random side note: I started doing your prenatal workouts only at 32 weeks this pregnancy, then getting covid congestion and fatigue and also a huge second degree burn on my stomach (😭…I remember hearing in one of your vids that this happened to you…isn’t it awful?!) have derailed me but I am ready to take advantage of the sunshine for walks these last two weeks and postpartum until I can start the PP plan 💕

    I am 16 weeks pregnant with my first ever baby and have been watching all types of videos.

    Did you start working out 1week pp or how long did you wait till you could workout.

      @Laura Beltran Thank you for your concern. I had a brain hemorrhage last year so a vaginal delivery might be too dangerous for me because I might rupture the aneurysm during delivery, and we certainly don't want that. It's in The Lord's hands and if He chooses to bring my son earlier than the scheduled delivery then His will be done. I trust The Lord and have prayed for His will to be done. Thank you!

    I have loved your PP program and so grateful I invested in it! Even just watching this video has inspired me to do better as a Christian, wife and mom! Thank you Ashley! I am curious- when did you get your cycle back (if you have)? Despite BFing/pumping, I got mine at 6 months and That personally made me do so much better physically. I think it even helped everything heal because of the hormones involved … I’m curious if that was similar for you!!!

      Hi Kayla, so nice to meet you. I always have lactational amenorrhea while breastfeeding and don't get my period back until 1-2 months after weaning. Not saying that it couldn't be different this 4th baby -- but that's been my experience pp with my first 3. I have ZERO doubts that if your prolactin hormones were able to decrease even while continuing to breastfeed & pump, when prolactin decreases it allows estrogen to go back up some to "normal" that it helps your body heal faster. I'm honored to have you here- thanks so much for being part of this glowbodypt community!

    From what I’ve observed, those who are as in shape as you are before getting pregnant, can “get your body back” with much better success than those of us who aren’t. 😬 I respect that you use your own program! We can’t do *anything* extra financially right now or I would purchase this program. I am 2.5 months PP and feeling like a total loser. The body image issues are insane PP. Every. Time. 😞

      Hi Radarvan, It's Ashley. Congratulations to you on your 2.5 month old newborn. You can DM me if you want on IG but I can share TONS of before/after pics of women who would have classified themselves as "totally out of shape" "overweight even before getting pregnant" hopeless, depressed, and feeling so far from their previous self. You are NOT alone. For some women, the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan is the first time they've ever exercised consistently in their entire life, and it's having the *structure* that changes everything. Finally women can remove all the brain-work, save time, and make progress by following along the videos and sticking to it. I'm extremely hopeful in your POTENTIAL and if money is the issue, consider PayPal pay as you go where you can break it down into payments that suit your personal budget planning the best. www.glowbodypt.com/12-week-post-pregnancy-plan-2

    Hi Ashley!
    3 weeks ago I had my 5th baby 😅 and am so excited to start your post natal plan again! I bought it back in 2018. I won’t be starting it for a few more weeks since I had a C-section but was wanting to look it over. Unfortunately Vimeo said that the videos can no longer be found. I remember you saying that you quite using Vimeo. Is there a way for me to access the program using a different video service? Excited to get my tummy back!
    Thanks!

    Ashley I know you are a busy woman and taking care of your children is top priority. I’m wondering about your 12 week post pregnancy program and have some questions. I see that the mom cookbook now goes with it but does your nutrition plan that went with it still come with it too? I am now 5 months postpartum and still very very big looking in my stomach and really uncomfortable in my skin. I only have 1/8 of DR at top, bellybutton and lower stomach. I have a Cystocele prolapse and have a little bulge there. But was told it’s nothing to be concerned about as I have no intolerances.
    I did 12 weeks of another postpartum workout program called SLAM from getmonstrong and then 4 weeks of another called Nancy Anderson’s ab rehab. Both great programs which gave me amazing progress in my pelvic floor and worked my core to feel stronger as I had no core strength after baby but I still have so much pregnancy weight on and fat on my belly.
    Will your program help me and also help with
    My Posture, Prolapse, An Anterior pelvic tilt
    Teaching to Probably engage core during exercises and life? THANK YOU!

      @glowbodypt  Рік тому

      Hi Alice, it's Ashley. Congratulations on expecting your 2nd right now as an older mom. It makes me so happy to hear this really spoke to you- thanks for sharing that with me. YES! The 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan is not only suitable for you, it's perfect for you if you have another c-section. 34-50% of the "before/after" pics highlighted on my website are from mothers who deliver via c-section - it very accurately reflects reality. Post c-section delivery (major abdominal surgery) moms can get muscle-amnesia and have a harder time activating the abs correctly as well as synchornizing deep inner core function WITH pelvic floor function. My 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan addresses this specifically and arms you with confidence that you'll be doing the exact exercises you need, in the prescribed order, progressively getting more advanced at just the right times to accelerate your progress and improve your overall results on your abdominal wall function and appearance. I'm excited for you! During pregnancy, stick to my FREE Prenatal Program. Here you go, in case you haven't snagged it yet www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts then invest in the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan once you are full term (37-38 weeks) because recovery guidance starts immediately and you can start using the Mom Cookbook right away during pregnancy.

      The bonus cardio workouts are clickable at the bottom of each phase calendar. : ) I recommend starting again at Week 5 then do Week 7 then 9 and 11! Take 2 weeks unstructured time (active but no scheduled workouts- just do whatever floats your boat). Then progress onto the 10 Minute Plan with heavier dumbbells so you can keep going, especially with the ab training. Thanks for being here Elizabeth, it's my honor to have you.

    Questioned for baby LED weaning what do you do if your baby gags and throws up the food that he just ate or she just ate? And is that a common thing or normal and how do you help them not do that?

    • @glowbodypt
      @glowbodypt  Рік тому

      Hi Sarah, my babies have definitely gagged up foods (especially at 6-8 months,) those first 2 months of learning! But at 9 months that stops for my babies (for the most part). I am NOT familiar with my babies throwing up food though-- this is a little concerning. I would watch for patterns: is your baby sensitive to certain foods more than others? Stick to very simple mushy foods too: mashed sweet potato, mushy steamed carrots, avocado, banana, squeezed blueberries. And, if your baby cannot do BLW, that's OK! Stick to what suits to and your baby better, they will all eat whole foods some day soon. : )

    This is encouraging, even though postpartum is still a somewhat scary prospect for me, as a first time mom. I'm 32 weeks pregnant with our daughter, first baby, and had been reasonably physically active until a week ago, when I suddenly acquired PGP. At least for now, I can no longer walk without my pubic bone aching, and I cannot even do gentle stretches without pain. I'm afraid of this not going away postpartum, even though I know, logically, that it almost assuredly will, with time and patience. Right now, I'm having to spend most of my day reclining in bed, which at least I have the opportunity to do since I work from home on my computer. I hate it, though, since I emotionally need to be physically active, if that makes sense, and I'm not used to being this inactive.

      Elizabeth, I get it completely. Clearly you're a highly motivated, active and driven woman. Sitting still is harder for you than exercise is -- you are seen and I understand completely. Here's what I recommend for you! 1. Follow the upper body workouts in my Free Prenatal Program (you can do anything listed for 27 weeks onward all the way til you deliver) www.glowbodypt.com/prenatalworkouts 2. Try my PGP workout. It may just work for you...for so many other women it's literally the ONLY lower body exercise they can do pain-free! ua-cam.com/video/U4-6Uak5ZXA/v-deo.html 3. If you have access to a pool at all, swim gently or kickboard kick. This is extremely cathartic to most PGP so you won't feel pain. 4. Get my 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan soon. This way you can start using the Mom Cookbook right away during pregnancy and be armed with the structure you need to save time and brain-work postpartum. Your PGP will go away postpartum. Thousands of women have walked before you and I'm rooting for you to have HOPE for yourself too.
