Keto isn't for everyone, it's important to exercise, maybe not 5 days a week, but you can't be fit on just diet alone, I am a support of a keto diet, but I know people who couldn't cope with it, I do believe that some exercise is needed to stay active and healthy.
I think everyone is different, blood type can play it's part also, saying there is a one diet that fits all is not correct, I've had people in their 60s who were given a specific diet to go on and then they tried to sell it to me who was in their 30s , having fertility treatment and struggling with an inflammatory disease, I explained that I do not need the same diet as them, my metabolism is different and I haven't been thru menopause, hormones play a huge part also,
@@kellysamson4521 I agree the stage of life and hormones play a huge part. Everyone is different and finding the right diet that works for you is vital. Food choices are important and key to weight loss and management and knowing what your body needs is key. Not always easy to figure out. And, diet fads will come and go. Do what’s right for you.
@Lisa Sunshine again it depends where you are in your weight loss journey, for example I know someone who had the gastric bypass surgery, now her husband wants it and is currently 418lbs, they need him to get down to 396 by his next appnt, so he is dieting, but exercise will also be important to keep him strong for the surgery and to tone the body as he loses this weight otherwise there will be excess skin which is what his wife has to deal with, if you have someone who is going thru a huge lifestyle change and going from overeating and doing no exercise at all, here dieting alone won't always help, exercise will have to play its part, especially for cardiac health when leading up to surgery, otherwise you might lose the weight but you'll also lose the strength, which will cause problem for heart, lungs and joints.
