It is still really cool that the studio gave us a forge mode like this though. Regardless of the mistakes they made with infinite, this was a true example of executing a great idea really well

Definitely a step in the right direction in general. I just feel like the open world and spartan academy was such a missed opportunity we could have had a cool live service extraction hoard shooter with the assets they alrdy have and the campaign open world with ur multiplayer spartan. Like the lone wolves concept was really interesting just poorly executed.
Games like fallout and skyrim being moddable and allowing fan content is what kept the games popular for decades. If halo goes the same way, the game will improve with time, all because of the fans

This is the difference between corps "designing" games for money and then fans designing games for fans.. Fanfavorites put the billion dollar corps to shame ALWAYS
I suggest removing Spartan shields to make the players seem more like hell jumpers. Also adding Spartans to fight with the enemy ruins the fell and I think is a bad idea
I dont play Infinite for reasons- I have played- but prefer older titles for their gameplay/pace But Im glad the passion can still breath on the game through the work of fans and those who care

My 2 cents of constructive criticism: When I think of hell jumping Odst I think more Gear of War levels of gritty gore and elements of horror. This just looks like a mid arena shooter, like Overwatch or Concord. Id still rather play this, then that garbage.
It is not, come launch people will realize Helljumpers is nothing like anything in Halo. We don't want to spoil too much but, we can promise it is nothing like firefight.
I say this with love...but with the amount of work you all put into this you should just get Unreal Engine and make your own games, 343i doesnt deserve you.
This is why I have started sticking to community driven games where everything is made by players. Whether it be halo forge/custom games or something like the Arma games. The missions and everything is simply way better when they’re made by people. Whatever forced woke garbage they attaching to every series chest like an alien parasite or something is not working. I’ve watched movies music and games completely collapse in quality over the past decade. I find myself constantly going to the old stuff from the 90s or 2000s. Some things from the 80s even are infinitely better in quality than what you see nowadays
Not a fan of the forced difficulty progression. Wish you could choose what difficulty you could either cap at, or just play flat across all drops for as long as you want.
We would love to add more options like this, but we're really pushing the budget already and we'd prefer to spend the very little budget we have left on more content for the players. Totally understand this take though, and it is completely fair.
@@TheForgeFalcons_YT Is there a possibility that you could release a "easy mode" version separate from the normal version? Not familiar with the workshop rules so I'm unsure if you can release two versions of the same forge gamemode.
They are just trying to copy Helldivers 2 because they can't make a decent game themselves. That being said, it could turn out to be a pretty stellar game
