This is definitely one of my favorite monster movies. That's the one thing about monster and disaster movies they don't need this super deep dramatic story to be interesting. You can just watch them and enjoy them. Also, Jeffrey Dean Morgan just chewing up the scenery has got to be one of my favorite things about this movie.
Of all the three of the monsters, being a gorilla, a wolf, and a crocodile… Ralph the Wolf, is the one I feel sorry for the most. Because when he went rabid, he unintentionally killed his entire family, his pack… unlike Lizzie and George.
Rampage is very underrated. It's a very fun one-off giant-monster movie with The Rock & Negan chewing sceneries. How can people not have fun with this one?
21:20 yeah they had George(ape), Ralph(wolf), Lizzie(reptile) and Larry(rat). Larry wasn’t a that known as the other three. They’ve added to the game and have a lot more characters now.
Since the movie is talking about using CRISPR for treatments, there is a research group that did a human trial using CRISPR as part of a protocol to treat sickle cell disease. The only significant treatment is a bone marrow transplant, but that always comes with risks of rejection. So, use the patient's own marrow stem cells, remove the gene that carries sickle cell disease, then use these edited cells to create a marrow transplant of the patient's own cells. Out of 30 patients who underwent the 18+ months treatment, 29 were successfully treated and no longer suffer sickle cell disease. Now they need to work on making the treatment cost less than $2M.
I had no idea this was actually based on a game before I watched this movie. My attraction to this one was oooh it's big monsters with The Rock! What's not to love? 😂 It was pretty corny for me but it was definitely fun too
Another great reaction from the reel rejects! Love you guys, definitely do San Andreas if you haven’t watched it, you can’t miss out on the rock punching an earthquake! It’s insane!
Super underrated I love a good monster movie and this was so much fun I mean hello the WOLF CAN FLY lol. I love the albino gorilla you don’t see to many albino animals anymore so this was very cool to see for me personally.
Sooooooooooooo... No one's gonna acknowledge Aaron just dozing t-eff off lol... 37:20 ... A legit reaction has never been portrayed so well... LOVE YOU AARON LOL
The third one would be Lizzie… For obvious reasons I like how Ralph just snatched up one of the soldiers with his jaws and just kept running. This entire movie pretty much became the embodiment of what rampage the game was only better
You guys should react to Ninja Assassin super underrated I don’t think it got the love it deserved it does have Naomi Harris in it 👏🏾 the action and the choreography is amazing to me personally.
This film was part of my top 3 for 2018. As well as being one of my top 3 favorite video game movies. Watching the Sears Tower topple down like a tree in the forest, was one of the most exhilarating theater experiences ever.
NGL, I liked Rampage and I hope there's a sequel one day. At the moment I see 2 possible ways one can be made. 1: More animals in the wild were affected by the CRISPR serum and for what ever reason wasn't affected by the broadcast signal, 2: Someone manages to reverse engineer the serum from the corpses of Ralph and Lizzie
@@RaptorNX01 Yeah! That would be So Cool, and it would definitely give us more of that Godzilla/King Kong man in a Suit look that Pacific Rim worked off of.
i love movies with giant apes. Mighty Joe Young, King Kong, Rampage. The story could have been better but overall it's a fun movie. The other monsters look INSANE.
I saw this movie with my dad and even played a game of it at Dave and Buster's, but apparently it's actually based off of a really old game and not an original movie like I thought!
This is such a fun and ridiculous monster movie. I absolutely love it. any time. I would catch it on before or around the time HBO Max became a thing. I had this movie on so much because it's just a fun and ridiculous time. Just like San Andreas also staring The Rock.
I also recommend the movie Life (2017), with Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, and Hiroyuki Sanada. and you know it's getting really serious when the Rock says, "Oh, shit!"
I feel guilty for being one of the people who have complained about Andrews "references". Truth is, they are actually very informative 😅. Ignore people like me, Andrew, and keep doing your thing. The number of references in this reaction was Goldilocks perfect.👍😉
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Watch "The Accountant" with Ben Affleck and Louis Gossest Jr. It's an action filled powerhouse with unexpected twists and turns. PLEASE!!!!
I remember playing this in the arcade. It was 3 mutated humans. Georgie (King Kong wannabe), Ralph (giant werewolf), and Lizzie (Godzilla wannabe) just went around and destroyed the city, ate things and people, and just RAMPAGED. No real story and when you *died* you shrank back to the original human form, naked and creeped off the stage. They added Larry the Rat in an Atari sequel. Fun game that all you did was destroy and the movie fit the bill.
A super fun and well made movie. By the way: it's totally okay to enjoy a brainless fun movie without feeling embarassed or putting a disclaimer in every single sentence. 😉
In the game, players control a trio of monsters: George, Lizzie, and Ralph, humans turned into creatures due to various experimental mishaps. The objective is to destroy cities and combat military forces while maintaining their health. The game is set across 128 days in cities across North America, with each cycle repeating five times. Gameplay includes destroying buildings, eating humans, and avoiding damage.
He just compared this to man of steel Superman and Zod barely left a city at all with there bodies being the projectile they caused way more damage than these monsters but I love this movie
It's an enjoyable time waster from the genesis and classic nintendo eras, if you like punching things, eating people, and getting higher scores til you get killed you'll like it. It's kind of like pac man, no real story (altho it does have one) just something fun to do.

You should watch "Boss Level" came out in 2020 and is absolutely brilliant.

Did you want a sequel?!
Yes please
I would love to see a sequel who doesn’t want to see more giant animals fight each other with the Rock fighting by there side
Sequel please
I want a full version of the trailer song
most definitely , or another game or maybe both

Rampage was one of my favorite games as a kid. I’m glad they made a decent movie out of it.
I was just thinking the same
Poor Ralph. I know the guy was a horrible monster, but he went out BRUTALLY. Look at his head! He's terrified!
Another kind of meta thing was casting Joe Manganiello since on "True Blood" he played an alpha wolf but was taken out by a bigger badder wolf.
I had no idea this was actually based on a game before I watched this movie. My attraction to this one was oooh it's big monsters with The Rock! What's not to love? 😂 It was pretty corny for me but it was definitely fun too
(At 43:25) And THIS is _one_ of the reasons why I feel sorry for Ralph.
So excited to see Aaron and Andrew react to this movie! This movie is pretty fun to watch! 👍
I didn't know I needed another A&A team up but here we are.❤
Can anyone just say Dwayne Johnson without his title? I can't! He will forever be Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson to me.
Love watching Aaron and Andrew together. They play so well off of each other. Mostly because they’re both huge nerds (as we all are)
Rampage is a great film. Seems like you've all had a good time watching it.

I pick Morgan as the perfect cast to play live action Omny-Man
19:51 110% agree with you! that was pure Negan energy!
Just literally watched this film in 4K the other day. Was one of my monster film haul over the last month.
This is one of those movies where I feel like i was only one who knew of its existence so seeing these two react to this is a lot of fun
This was a decent adaptation of the game. This was a fun watch. It would've been nice if we could've gotten a sequel to this

Yeah! That would be So Cool, and it would definitely give us more of that Godzilla/King Kong man in a Suit look that Pacific Rim worked off of.
So cool to see the different combos now that more folks are a part of the squad! I think Aaron and Roxy could be a fun pairing!

I don't care what any critic says, I loved this movie and i just recently learned that it was based off a video game, although it does makes sense.
i played rampage on the PS2 such a strange gem and then there's now a movie based on it XD

Nice movie reaction 🔥🔥🔥🍿
George v the Gator gave godzilla v kong lol I remember tearing up when this first came out at the parts where it looked like George died lol
I wonder how many movies Andrew is gonna think is being ripped off this time?
Another Naomi Harris guilty pleasure for me is Ninja Assassin
Joe went out like Sam Jackson in Jurassic 1
The rampage that put everyone in the paid panic in the game to
San Andreas is so fun! Definitely recommend
Yes to san Andreas the movie. enjoyed the reaction :)

As well as a Slime monster later.
The giant wolf reminds me of Fenrir from God of war.
It's odd that they made George the gorilla an albino. He wasn't in the game, but I guess that made him more unique from Kong.
I'm guessing that was on purpose.
That's exactly why he's albino and why Lizzie is a crocodile and not a lizard because Godzilla.
Ironically, making George albino made him closer to the portrayal of *Son of Kong* back then.
Underrated movie
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is another Watchmen character
