The Shirt Worn In the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Music Video was Actually a T-Shirt Style Sweater (It was Basically a Sweater with Short Sleeves rather then a Normal Sweater with Long-Sleeves, and Cobain Just wore One of His Many White Long-Sleeve Shirts Underneath the Short-Sleeve Stripped Sweater In The Smells Like Teen Spirit Music Video.
Oh to have lived a life so interesting that people would tell stories about a shirt I wore once…RIP Kurt!

@@speccylimone3684 I Googled again for the third time. Nirvana was put the category of alternative rock by the public. He announced that his band was a new style of music and it was called Grunge. It's like forcing the band PANTERA or BLACK LABEL SOCIETY into rock....they have always been heavy metal.not rock. Kurt Cobain introduced Grunge music.
The band CLASH is punk music....I was a teen in the 80's I know the punk bands.
Let me help you and everyone else out with. Google.....what did Kurt Cobain classify his band . Grunge.....he went out of his way to be unique and different from every band before he was different from everyone else. That's what made his music different from the rest.....it's everyone else who wants to put in a category that's ordinary....Kurt Cobain was unique and nothing like most people.

@@speccylimone3684 you are mistaken. It was Kurt Cobain who even stepped up and said that Nirvana is a Grunge band and for a reason...he wanted his band to be separated from every other band. Nirvana is the first Grunge band then you had bands that followed afterwards.
I am personal friends with Ozzy and I will tell him and Zakk Wylde that the population thinks they are ROCK. That's incredibly insulting to them...rock is Led Zepplun, Kiss. Nazareth, Rainbow and so many others.I would never, ever say that Pantera is rock. That's like telling Marilyn Manson that he's a Christian singer....please stop.
I bought a pair of Converse ALL Stars and had been wearing them for years when "Smells Like Teen Spirit" came out. Bought for $14. Then, after Kurt's death the price of Converse ALL Stars shot up to over $50!!! I had a Green Cardigan sweater someone STOLE from my closet!
Freddy's was actually Green and red!

During the unedited MTV college campus /in utero intervews , either Chris or Kurt literally referred to it as "the Freddy Kruger Sweater" so it wasn't just called that by some fans. That IS EXACTLY what it was as intended
It's more like a Dennis the menace jumper which is red and black whereas Freddies jumper in the movie is actually green and red the colours together give off a type of illusion that's why the director Wes craven picked it and it's also why people get the colours mixed up .

I think that if he wants that sweater back he would have to pay for it, not just get it for free lol, I get it it was supposed to be a present and all but she paid a lot of money for it, plus, you don't just ask for a gift back... It's probably in storage tho, I saw an interview with Kurt's sister and daughter when they opened a museum with a lot of his stuff, and they said that they still have so much of his stuff saved
It wasn't a gift, as she paid £35 for it, as you also write in your comment (btw, I think she could have been more generous at the time and offer this guy more money. I don't think they were strapped for cash!). But yes, I agree with you: he's never getting the sweater back. He has no business even asking for it, in my opinion. And I bet he would try to sell it for big bucks the minute he got it.
