1.) Kurt did not have an open casket funeral, Krist was allowed to view the body before cremation.
2.) I’ve heard that the restaurant was either a McDonalds or a Jack in The Box.

I saw that documentary awhile back on HBO and honestly you could really tell Courtney loved Kurt, but also like anyone who was involved w Kurt- her entire existence is being asked questions about Kurt on a pretty regular basis- even now. And there's a huge, well known conspiracy theory (or several honestly) that Courtney killed Kurt, blah blah blah. The truth is (very tragically and sadly) that Kurt had suicide ideation for such a long time and was very honest about it. His state of mind from addiction really didn't help. It's impossible to imagine the mind frame of someone who's experience of themselves is so excruciatingly painful for them, that they just have to die. An ex-addict friend of mine with some lingering mental health issues was having a tough time, a woman had politely rejected his romantic intentions at work, and some other life stuff going on, he told some of us friends of his he was struggling, but no mention of any suicide ideation - even when outright asked, he'd smile and say 'no, it's not that bad' - he was part of a small community of people who loved him. Then he was found dead in his apartment one day - he'd gone and got some smack (after not using any mood or mind altering substances for over 3 years) and injected a lethal dose. He'd clearly spent some time making sure his flat was immaculate, washed the dishes and had hung laundry out to dry, written a note to his mum saying goodbye and to forgive him, and then tied off - gone.

Confronting an addict in this way is an extremely poor choice of action.
People didn’t know any better back then.
People end up on heroin because of extreme trauma. The last thing you do is corner them and force them into an even more vulnerable position.
A person can only get through something as brutal as that with compassion and support.

[ . . . ] On Saturday, April 9, Jeff Mason was employed to take Courtney to the funeral home to view Kurt’s body before it was cremated-she had already requested that plaster casts be made of his hands. Grohl was also invited, and declined, but Krist came, arriving before Courtney. He spent a few private moments with his old friend and broke down crying. As he left, Courtney and Mason were brought into the viewing room. Kurt was on a table, dressed in his nicest clothes, but his eyes had been sewn shut. It was the first time Courtney had been with her husband for ten days, and it was the last time their physical bodies would be together. She stroked his face, spoke to him, and clipped a lock of his hair. Then she pulled his pants down and cut a small lock of his pubic hair-his beloved pubes, the hair he had waited so long for as an adolescent, somehow these needed to be preserved. Finally, she climbed on top of his body, straddling him with her legs, and put her head on his chest and wailed: 'Why? Why? Why?'"

Guys have a funny way of trying to knock some sense into their friends and tbh I’ve heard it being a normal thing back then a punch thrown and then realization and amends. I don’t think Krist knew that would really be his last time seeing his best friend… and he probably regretted it but I know he only did it to be like “dude wake up in not letting you get fd up because you got a kid and a family that loves you and i care” but it just came out wrong cause kurt didn’t want the help. :/ That genuinely is so heartbreaking… you can’t save someone that doesn’t want to be saved.

This is not the fault of Krist since he most likely just didn’t understand addiction especially back then. As someone who was also addicted to heroin it’s really important to get that last high before heading off to rehab. Krist should’ve let Kurt go to the mickey d’s. As you see Kurt ran off got high and decided it was okay to go to rehab the next day. It’s also not good to force someone to do this when they are not ready. I understand they were just trying to help and they cared a lot for the guy, but maybe if they just waited it out a little bit Kurt would’ve checked himself into rehab on his own accord. Maybe he’d be alive today. Or maybe he would’ve died of an overdose. You never know. But something tells me this intervention was the last straw that contributed to his suicide.

All I can say is Kurt was clean during In Utero album making that was 14 days, he was clean in Rome, he was clean in Rehab and Dr's said he wasn't self destructive, when slim moon and nanny Jackie Ferry went to see him they was surprised cause he DIDN'T LOOK LIKE SHIT OR STRUNG OUT. This don't sound like a junkie all strung out. CL had reported to cops a few times Kurt was, locked in a room, threatening self harm and has gun's, it was false all 3 times. I believe after tge coma he was not himself. I believe ppl around him had him zonked on roofies like in Rome, he was dead when shot with a shotgun, hence no big bloody mess. Look at other self harms with shotgun or killings. It's messy. Roger Lewis wrote a paper on cases like his and for him to do what is said is not impossible but highly unlikely. Ppl with that much dope in system can't sit without falling over, let alone put kit away, grab gun, use it. Dr Ceryil Wecht said in all of his 40k plus cases his done himself, many thousands hes been asked to comment about, had a part of or looked into, his is only 1 to do what kurt did. He looked in JFK so since the mid 60s. All they fought about was the will. Rosemary said he called her wanting wife written out. CL made him sign a prenup. Not other way around. He was why she got signed to Geffen, his name is worth millions. She cares only about money and fame. She ripped up the new will and said It's all mine to Wendy and others in room and threw in fire. She said for all to jeep quiet or his step sister was next. El Duche passed 2 polygraphs to highest degree when asked Did CL offer 50k to whack Kurt Cobain. Test was given by Edward Gelb. The top polygraph examiner and tester in the world at the time that taught FBI, CIA etc to give and read tests. The 3 letter agencies and more gov careers require a polygraph to get the job. Kurt wanted to break up band, wanted to get his life in order and divorce and be clean. His stomach was fixed in summer of 93. He was on Subutex that stops the user from feeling high no matter how much or what dope they snort, shoot, smoke etc. Tom Grant has investigated a few deaths made to look like self harm. He feels like he was murdered. Ex police chief Norm Stamphor said if he was chief his death would be looked into again and get it right this time. There's a possibility he OD, but no gun play. CL knew where he was when she hired tom. She told Dylan on fone at Rosemary house to LOOK IN Greenhouse. He didnt. She then called Veca electric and told them to stop work on house and start on greenhouse. The alarm company was called 7 times to turn off alarm. 2 was Tom, 1 was Eric to 'Look for Kurt and shotgun'. He was also the last 1 to see Kristin alive. So many inconsistencies and unanswered questions. ME told reporters same day 2 hours after seeing his body it was self harm. 7 days later he signed off on death certificate. No tests was back yet. Gun wasn't checked for prints until after kurt was cremated. That sound like the norm for anyone? Body's gone before prints are checked on a death weapon? No.

After Me2, all the facts came out, Epstein, all the facts came out. It's always that's crazy, can't be until it's said, shown and proven to be true. Truth is stranger than fiction. It really is. I'm from where Dr Wecht is from. Very close. That man is the king of pathology. Yes he didn't see the autopsy report, but he did know the case as much as he could. He said highly unlikely. I mean El Duche passes a polygraph, 2 times, saying CL asked him to do kurt in for 50K. He dies days after. Last ppl to see him, Wrench. He dropped him off at Liquor store he says and that's last time he saw him. But he shows Love and Death Authors, The spot he died. How'd he know the exact spot he died if he not there? That's like me doing it and saying I know exact time. How if I wasn't there? I was 15 when he died. My uncle worked Cleveland Police homicide. I gave him Toms case file. I asked does any of how this case was investigated look ok at all. He laughed and said Nothing the cops did make any sense and won't to any investigator who has ever been a cop, PI or a 3rd of regular folks who watch any true crime show. There's way too much to say he died the way it's said. I know well prolly never know the whole truth, but I get so mad when I read or see or hear anything about him and they say self harm.
