Oooooo...all that fish! I can eat fish for days and I suspect I'd be in hog heaven in that restaurant. Feijoada is something I need to eat at least once in my life before I die, too. Isn't it the national dish of Brazil?
You know I think some people forget that Chili oil is a prefered beverage of Mike's. Give him a straw and anything super spicy and I think he would be happy.
Happy to see Mike in Rio! My family is from RJ, so it's kinda nostalgic for me. Haven't been there in a whyle. I've been in the Federal District for the past years. That said, you need to try food from Minas Gerais, Goias and Bahia! Would love to say the same for DF, but here is like a little of every other place. We do not have typical food. But at least burgers are really good here.
Mikey, Rio De Janeiro is the city to visit . The food items you showed us were the most delicious looking food of all your videos I know I would love every dish you showed and in the order you did them. Th scenery was so fabulous and I have wanted to do a food vacation and now I know where I want my first vacation. The fish method was so interesting and taste great I'm sure. The bean and sausage, beef dish I can't wait to taste, the greens so bright and colorful. A whole day of eating so inviting then if in the season of the festivities even better. Thank you Mickey your video destinations just get better and better. As you grow you should have contest to go with you on your trips. Just a suggestion. Anyway love your videos and never miss them . Bon Appétit. Thank you again your the best food blogger. Till next video.❤🎉😮😊
Have not watch one of your vidoes in bit love the sound and vidoe cwality and just the nice vibe to the over all video you give . I also like how if you like something or don't you tell it like it is
I'm an Asian who lived in Brazil for 3 decades and I would like to suggest you going to the Northeast of Brazil to eat diferente food from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
Must be really good dried fish as this was the only video segment (or any post for that matter) that Mike Chen didn't smother the dried fish with Sriracha or any type of hot sauce. Probably couldn't help himself as he had to put hot sauce in the soup in the next segment . Don't worry Mike- I eat a Thai pepper or two with dinner almost every night so I know how it is. Go hot sauce Mike!
I really do love watching your videos Mike. Although, I ordered AG1 in an attempt to be healthier, and 100% nah. From the gritiness to the flavor it was horrible. They recommended you drink it on an empty stomach and I tossed it right back out. Again, love and respect but never again with AG1 🤮
10:38 u sure u aren’t just in louisiana? Cuz das just an every sunday dish here😂. Red beans and rice, collard greens and ofc, the cornbread lol. Looks delicious though
Eeeeeee no! No Brasil temos a cultura de preparar nosso próprio molho, então cada lugar e um molho específico. Raramente se vê molhos industrializados. São tudo molho caseiro na maioria dos lugares.
Mikey, I say this as a fan.. please use adjectives other than "juicy" and "melt in your mouth" Not everything you eat can melt in your mouth, but I can predict every time you're going to say it in a video.. I enjoy the foods and places you go but the commentary is so repetitive it has become predictable.
I remember there was on video quite some time ago and you were in Japan or Korea and there was a South African-ish restaurant with bobotie and you digged it, now imagine going to the source 🙂
Mike, "chicharrone" is the spanish word for fried pigskin. Brazilian word for it is "torresmo".
Everything he eats is the best, most mind blowing dish he’s ever had.
that's what happen when u try new thing u never had before lol
@@lix1916 he says the same thing for burgers and noodles.
I´m brazilian and now I´m gonna have to go to that dry aged fish place, looks incredible
engraçado que nem a gente fica sabendo desses lugares hahaha
Now I've seen everything. Aging anything makes it better. Beef, Fish, Wine, Me. Lol Great video Mike. Safe travels
I am going to try that split fish cooking method, Ive never seen it before. Go great with some beer
Só comida boa!! Just delicious food!!
Me being a 31 brazilian fan of this channel who has never ever heard of dry-aged fish in brazil lol I'm super confused
I'm very proud to say my mom makes a killer oxtail. It's one of my favorite things to eat on sundays
Delicious Brazilian recipes, Mikey.
Remember when Mikey wouldn't touch raw fish?
It seems like just yesterday.
News flash...Mikey has lost most of us. Now he's about establishments we can't afford.
@debk5427 nah my guy, its just you. ots fun watching him try places I can't personally go to. It also opens people to new cultures.
He might eat a Oyster now if it's cooked.
Definitely born in the US .
More great international food.
What.. no lime on the fish? Hhhmmm? Maybe it didn't need it. That seafood looked amazing Mikey 😊
Finally Mikey in Brasil 😄😄🇧🇷🇧🇷🫶
Parabens pelo video seja bem vindos ao brasil 🇧🇷🌅
Dude so happy that you got to Brazil and tried stuff like Acarajé
14:14 Barely need to chew at all? Mikey almost never chews his food; just inhales it especially noodles.

He is sooooooo blessed doing so much traveling! I envy him!
I’m always amazed by the food you eat and how much of it in a day!
food looks great as usual! glad you're enjoying your time in Rio!
Nice video Mike. Next time do you needed to try the norteast and south food here in Brazil of course the Minas Gerais food too.
When he says feijoada i just hear fish water that's so cursed
Oooooo...all that fish! I can eat fish for days and I suspect I'd be in hog heaven in that restaurant. Feijoada is something I need to eat at least once in my life before I die, too. Isn't it the national dish of Brazil?
Yeah all that fish looked amazing. And same, Feijoada is indeed the national dish... And definitely also something on my food bucket list as well!
Yes! I'm brazilian and feijoada is definitely something that you will find anywhere here. Every part of the country has its variations, but yes.
Awesome job mikey

Need an Australian video Mikey!
As a hot sauce lover i feel grateful that mike acknowledges our bottlet pain

Not sure I could bring myself to try dry aged fish. Athough it's not aged terribly long so maybe it's not that dangerous.
Any UA-camr without skipable ads.. I will not watch
Wow such super tasty feast😮
I'm hungry! Love these videos! 💯😁
Mahi Mahi sandwiches with campfire sauce are my favorite. (Campfire sauce, mayo and bbq) for fish..or smoked sailfish. ❤❤
Love it man!!
Perfect timing, just in time for my breakfast! 😄

Acaraje is literally the best street food in the world
Só na Bahia!
Em todos os outros estados e Xtudo e Cachorro quente.
They'll take the peel off each bean by hand but leave the shrimp shells. 😂
Looks yummy!
The food looks appealing
Super fun food day!
Good ole memories 😋🍽
So what is the line between crispy/bark vs burnt. I'm not a fish lover, but the same question can be applied to meat.
That mahi looks crazy good!
Love you Mikey! Keep eating!!
Feijoada is Brazil's national dish!

The stuffed squid looks awesome! And the beef stew looks so tender!
You literally have my job of my dreams. Going all around the world eating ❤
The Pantanal is 10 times the size of the Everglades, just for people to have an idea. The food looked amazing, Mike. Thanks for the video.
Nice street food! Interesting fish with a guide!
Extra protein garnish at 5:15 🤣
Bem vindo ❤❤❤❤ sucesso meu querido ❤❤❤❤ beijos 😘😘😘😘😘
Dry aged seafood from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is so good, I want to try it 👍
I love you Mike, but im not eating anything that is looking back at me!😊
I really do love watching your videos Mike. Although, I ordered AG1 in an attempt to be healthier, and 100% nah. From the gritiness to the flavor it was horrible. They recommended you drink it on an empty stomach and I tossed it right back out. Again, love and respect but never again with AG1 🤮

What kind of hot sauces are those, I want to see if I can buy them online
Eeeeeee no!
No Brasil temos a cultura de preparar nosso próprio molho, então cada lugar e um molho específico.
Raramente se vê molhos industrializados.
São tudo molho caseiro na maioria dos lugares.
Who else watches his videos while your eating? Bc it just seems right lol
Mikey, I say this as a fan.. please use adjectives other than "juicy" and "melt in your mouth"
Not everything you eat can melt in your mouth, but I can predict every time you're going to say it in a video..
I enjoy the foods and places you go but the commentary is so repetitive it has become predictable.
He actually secretes a special enzyme that makes any food item melt in his mouth so he's just being truthful
Always love your vids BUT im telling you man come to SOUTH AFRICA! you will not be disappointed with the food I promise 😅
I remember there was on video quite some time ago and you were in Japan or Korea and there was a South African-ish restaurant with bobotie and you digged it, now imagine going to the source 🙂
All of the beef dishes are southern dishes also. 😊
Why don't the words dry and aged seem to me to belong with fish?
and guga came to my state! Nice!
Can anyone tell me if AG1 actually tastes good or at least decent?
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Watching from Porto Seguro Bahia. Great video. Cheers 🍻
