Damn, I can't listen to this, it's just way too nostalgic.. For some reason I always loved to hang out in Nagrand during night time, just for leveling or farming ores or primals. This music was the best before going to bed..
I know how you feel. Listening to this brings back so many memories of experiences with your friends and guild. At the time though my biggest memory for nagrand was, damn all these kill mobs missions :P
6 year old comment but this is exactly what i did, i farmed all night for motes in nagrand just for the music. one of my fondest memories and its of grinding even.

It wont be the same, we're not kids anymore. I was 15 when wow came out - I can never be 15 again and I just don't enjoy video games anymore. I can't sit in my parents' basement with my buddies and LAN during the holidays. I can't raid with my brother while sitting in his room, he lives thousands of miles away in Europe... I come here for the nostalgia trip. I come here to remember all the little things that makes life worth living.
This is so comfy. It feels like I'm in 5th grade again, flying aimlessly around Nagrand, admiring the scenery. Such a pleasant way to escape reality for a few minutes. Occasionally brings me into a crying mood. TIme sure fucking flies.
Sometimes I like to listen to these and imagine like I am having those great times again (I tried playing it again, un-officially, but its not the same, not even from 30% the same :(( )
This music makes me miss my WoW days. Such an amazing game. I have say that the best part of this game was not the fun teams, the epic adventures, the unfolding story lines, the strategy involved or even the massive raid battles; it was the music. The music is what kept me coming back and back over 7 years of playing. I still hum some of the tunes after so many years!
Seemed like a pretty standard zone you could find in Azeroth, bu then you looked up and could see planets and all kinds of other cosmic things. The skyline was truly something to behold upon entering this zone the first time.
I miss those long school nights when I should've been doing homework, instead I was questing. Don't even get me started about Friday nights... Things are different now.

this music reminds me that it's more than just a game but a lasting experience - the beauty portrayed by this game is unparalleled and its music justifies the enormous extent. this piece is unique because it brings out so many emotions in an individual, i find it difficult to describe and I am certain many would agree with me.
Best zone in WoW hands down, it has the most beautiful design and music, it has always been my place of choice when I want to relax in between arena ques etc. I really hope they make WoD Nagrand a big part of the expansion and the ability to make a garrison there.
Nagrand is one of those zones you would NEVER expect to find in a place like Outland, especially when you had to fight through bone marrow orcs in hellfire peninsula and go through sea serpents in zangaemarsh. Nagrand is what heaven is. Peaceful, relaxing, and where everyone wishes to go when all is done with in life.
Oh god this brings back memories. I remember the first time I wandered into Nagrand it was so beautiful I couldn't stop just wandering around in awe looking at everything, I had never seen any place so profoundly beautiful in a game before.
This melody is so haunting. I used to fly around Nagrand just for it. And of course, Thrall's chain quest there is one of the best emotional moments in game. Cried every time.
Whenever i listen to this i keep remember lil things i have forgotten about wow and friends i had back then. if heaven is half as beautiful as this place then were all gonna have a great time :)
Oh man somebody build a time machine PLEASE! I loved the TBC days... Sitting in my parents' house basement with my brother and friends doing Kara runs. Being a kid, not having to worry about anything. Adult life fucking sucks! I'd give anything to go back to those golden days.
I remember I was leveling in Nagrand on my Night Elf, and I was wandering along to hunt some big Elekk... Then I turned and saw, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen in fantasy. The endless grassy plain, the cliffs going down at theside; the curved trees, some of them atop the small floating islands, which released streams of water down below... I stopped, for a while. And just stared, alone with these thoughts. Then I stood up, and went on my way.
sometime in the spring of 2008 (may/june) I stayed up from 2:30 pm-4:30 am on a friday afterschool in fifth grade playing wow. i was a level 66 human pally, and i have the oathkeeper or oathbringer or whatever (blue lvl 68 crystal looking mace) in my bag. I grinded my heart out just killing mobs and finally hit 68. i then equipped the oathbringer. it was a magical moment in time that will never be forgotten. this music was playing simultaneously too
Ooh Nagrand ... Nostalgia I will always remember that music that ambience that zone that MASTERPIECE with the floating islands with the beautiful lakes with everything calm in it ! as simply as that there's no word to describe what i feel now it is too good feeling!
I get crazy goosebumps every time I listen to this. My friend introduced me to WoW when my father was sick and was dying from cancer. He died around the time I was in Nagrand, always brings back memories of him. World of Warcraft has the best soundtracks hands down, no one can question that. I wish I could be buried in a place as beautiful as Nagrand. As nerdy as it sounds, it's true.
@Kristóf Katona Just kidding we are trying to replicate the feelings of innocence and carefree ignorance that enabled us as kids to enjoy this mystical world, and now the mystical world of Azeroth has become the symbol of "carefree better times". That's what we are really after. And those days will never come back. Let's just continue to die inside.
6:08 is my favorite part. There's just such a sad tone, and like the rest of the song, it conveys the feeling that you're in a beautiful, lush place... on a planet that has been tortured and shattered by evil.
I think about the glory days of times that I can't even remember. Of universes I may or may not have existed in. Of emotions that may or may not be possible. Of wonder, essentially. This really is wide-open music, epic, sweeping and grand. A great catalyst for the imagination. Matt Uelmen is a genius.
Makes me remember all the good times with old friends, and sadly they are lost to me now. Took it for granted we would keep in touch, but time has a way of pulling things apart.
I remember back in the day, when I finally got my flying mount, I flew back to Nagrand and sat on top of one of the floating mountains. I sat there for a good half hour just gazing into the abyss while this music played. Was truly an epic moment. :)
This is nostalgia. You know the days won't come back but you are glad you lived those days and played it since the beginning. I know how you feel, most of us feel the same about the good old days.

I didn't watch this video a month ago because I felt an urge to return to WoW, but simply because I just thought about games I had played and then I remembered this music. You'll get over it aswell (the nostalgia)
I just finished reading the Ride of the Horde book. When the book mentioned Oshu'gun, or other places i always saw them as they are now in outland. I'm really curious and eager to explore the 'new' zones and see how the orcs were before they were corrupted. They had such a great life in nagrand.. :( poor things
i put this on at midnight before sleep,i close my eyes and im there back again when i was a kid playing wow leveling my undead mage here in nagrand and doing arena with friends damn...
@@roamer1389 Replying to a comment 6 years ago, I can't even remember that I wrote that :) But you're right, they were so peaceful. They didn't deserve what we did to them ;(
Ludvig Johansson Well to just get to the point, I'd say it's in a bad state because you can't really do anything at max level due to a lack of content.
Skandalos Not sure if that was A) a pun, since, you know, the Cataclysm WAS literally a disaster, or B) blind nostalgia. As someone who played from Vanilla, and quit shortly into Cata because of horrible decision making on Blizzard's behalf, I can safely say Cata's music was objectively better than Vanilla's, as a whole, with a larger budget and more experienced artists. Most of Vanilla's musical prowess stems exclusively from nostalgia, a thing I'm guilty of myself, but when you actually listen to it, most of the tracks are simplistic and repetitive, often repeating many times over in various zones and instances. Cata doesn't get the same appreciation simply because of the poor decisions made by the developers at the time, which is unfair to the artists and musicians that did incredible work.
So much nostalgia...good times these were.Where everyone was cool, and the games was new,it was the best gaming experience i ever had till this date, and i played a lot of epic games, but WoW Vanilla and Burning Crusade takes it into the next level.I know some long time WoW players will say the same.It took a part from our heart.Long live WoW.
This is where my WoW soul will rest, whirling around in my helicopter, watching the sun set through the clouds and waving to my friends below who are doing PvP.
Oh, these memories... they made me try to revive my WoW-times three years ago. Technically, it was no problem. But I realized that the game did not fit into my life anymore... though I'd really love to re-live some of my early WoW-moments...
This is so hauntingly nostalgic. I have never wanted to replay a time in my life as much as when I first played the first 2 expansions of WoW as a newbie. Memories I'll take to the grave with me
I have goosebumps at the beginning of the video. Every single time, even when i played this video almost 100 times already. So many memories, nostalgia, feelings! Why we cannot return time?
They say that the best wow expansions were wrath and burning crusade. They were both great but I personally think the best wow expansion was Zombie Dragons rise of the subscriptions featured in wowcrendor's video if fans made a wow expansion video. But that expansion doesn't exist so wrath and burning crusade will have to do for now.

NAGRAND IS THE BEST ZONE!!!! THE ONLY THING BETTER THAN NAGRAND IS SUPER NAGRAND WITH ZOMBIE DRAGONS AND HEMET NESSINGWARY BEING HUNTED BY ANIMALS....!!!!!!!!!! NAGRAND!
Every time I think of a sanctuary I think of Ashenvale, Eversong, or the little forest area on the right side of Nagrand. All of Nagrand is so beautiful but that area strikes me the most as lovely. (... I love alot of WoW zones, not just those) Thankyou for putting this wonderful music up. ^^
+erentheca I'm glad someone else heard it. I was sitting through the entire movie thinking I was grinding Clefthoof. I thought maybe Hanz Zimmer composed this music for WoW.
+erentheca Yes, definitely! Here to say that too, it was the Bruce Wayne theme if im right, was coming back when there was the flashbacks, and him out of costume.
My favourite zone in WoW. I played this game for five years and still when I hear this track or the name Nagrand pops up, it brings tears to my eyes. I feel like it's not the WoW I'm missing, but the part of my life that I was living when playing WoW.
Honestly, I can say BC was the best datadisc I played. You know, the very moment I stepped through the Dark Portal, saw a distant, different world, Burning Legion assaulters... I felt adrenaline surging through me, I felt it was challenging. And I overcame the challenge. Then I went to Zangarmarsh. Entirely different, yet strangely beautiful. Nagrand, the most peaceful territory of them all. Yet even there the Legion bred. Blade's edge, where everything wants to kill you. And Shadowmoon Valley.
CreativeUsernameEh nah, it didn't suck. wow wotlk tbc cata wod mop whatever i'm using waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more words now this is kinda gett fuuuuuuucking stuuuupid bye. beta that eh?
When I hear the music, I allways se a dying tabulk. Have no idea why. This place have so much and fun memories for me. Even I am lvl 80 for a long time now. I still visit this place a lot. Just to fly, some fishing or just fly to an floating island in the air, sit down and enjoy the beautifull area below me. The music makes it perfect for me.
World of Warcraft is one of those thing wich make me. This franchise has made me who I am today. A confident, happy person with fond memories of mysterious dungeons, unforgettable adventures, shining treasures and mind-blowing music which fulfills the areas that lie scattered in the Dangerous Universe of WarCraft. Blizzard, thank you.
i want to live there in next life

Hands down the best zone in wow, nothing comes close imo.
@meganecro yeah man all blizzards music is just i don't know i feel ethereal when i listen to it with closed eyes mixed with the nostalgic memories oh man ... there are no words to describe the epicness of the music ... ALL blizzard games have good music that just fitts the game and nothing more they are so perfect and incredible... diablo , diablo 2's music diablo 2 expansion MUSIC in the 5th act is godly masterpiece , classic , tbc , wotlk , cataclysm music is also godly music from heaven !
I swear this music make me sleepy while I'm flying through this area lol
What a beautiful zone.
6:09 ... I left a piece of my self in a virtual realm.
The music....the memories...the emotion...the nostalgia...I want TBC back,PLEASE!
NAGRAND IS THE BEST ZONE!!!! THE ONLY THING BETTER THAN NAGRAND IS SUPER NAGRAND WITH ZOMBIE DRAGONS AND HEMET NESSINGWARY BEING HUNTED BY ANIMALS....!!!!!!!!!!
NAGRAND!
This...This makes me want to farm Felsteel and Khorium ore until early in the morning...pure love.
omg 2:50.....
Every time I think of a sanctuary I think of Ashenvale, Eversong, or the little forest area on the right side of Nagrand. All of Nagrand is so beautiful but that area strikes me the most as lovely.
(... I love alot of WoW zones, not just those)
Thankyou for putting this wonderful music up. ^^
nagrand music synergizes so much when your high lol
😢😢😢I'm crying man....good old days...playing not just WoW...playing Lich king!!!!!😢😢😢
Best days.
@@xMorbidArtx No doubt...
Farming cobra scales and primal airs
Truly the most beautiful of all WoW's soundtrack. Waves of nostalgia!
6:07 this part is amazing and makes me cry :(
Thanks Blizzard, for all those past days making awesome video games with awesome music. And thank you for uploading it!
2:54 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had a very similar theme in it.
+erentheca I'm glad someone else heard it. I was sitting through the entire movie thinking I was grinding Clefthoof. I thought maybe Hanz Zimmer composed this music for WoW.
+erentheca I imediately got horrible Nagrand farming flashbacks when i heard that.
+erentheca Yes, definitely! Here to say that too, it was the Bruce Wayne theme if im right, was coming back when there was the flashbacks, and him out of costume.
I'm so glad im not the only one who heard that!
My favourite zone in WoW. I played this game for five years and still when I hear this track or the name Nagrand pops up, it brings tears to my eyes. I feel like it's not the WoW I'm missing, but the part of my life that I was living when playing WoW.
Can't wait to go back.
Youll need a time machine
Nagrand and Grizzly Hills are both gaming masterpieces. Will always remember the time i spent in those zones.
Who's here after Safe Haven?
Yup
yep^^ From 1.10min, goosebumps every time
Honestly, I can say BC was the best datadisc I played. And Shadowmoon Valley.
best zone in the game no argue whatsoever, if you argue against my opinion, that's a dumb move
Argued

When I hear the music, I allways se a dying tabulk. Have no idea why. This place have so much and fun memories for me. Even I am lvl 80 for a long time now. I still visit this place a lot. Just to fly, some fishing or just fly to an floating island in the air, sit down and enjoy the beautifull area below me. The music makes it perfect for me.
Can't wait for the new Nagrand,
But "new" Nagrand is going to be old Nagrand. We are going back in time :D
super nagrand? or wod nagrand?
Reeves Revenge I mean WoD Nagrand, but it would be cool to get Super Nagrand with zombie dragons :C
***** all i want in nagrand is the grizzly hills music mixed and maybe some krasarang music too
and the org music glitch removed
World of Warcraft is one of those thing wich make me. This franchise has made me who I am today. A confident, happy person with fond memories of mysterious dungeons, unforgettable adventures, shining treasures and mind-blowing music which fulfills the areas that lie scattered in the Dangerous Universe of WarCraft. Blizzard, thank you.
